Metal (aluminum) roofs are installed here in alpine areas in Canada because they are very very durable, very water proof, they sluff off snow and are middle of the road pricing and easy installation. Many are also designed to facilitate simple solar power mounting. Seeing tile roofs is quite rare here.
The Alps were formed in about 110 million years. That's nearly half as long as the construction of Jägerhorn took so far :-P Again a great episode and still enjoying this series.
After just visiting Disney, I see where a lot of your inspiration comps from. It’s really cool how much attention to detail you put in just so you get a certain feeling out of it.
And this continues to be my favorite project on Planet Coaster. Amazing work as always, Silv! As much as I'm excited see this project finished, I hate to see it come to an end lol. And OOF 20 hours on that death trap??? I hope the park is supplying him with a chiropractor too lmao.
It's not often that you hear Stuff about Disney-Parks and Attractions and Skiing Austria in one Video! Haha. However, your Building skills are as always amazing! 👍
Always wonderful to see your thought process and design style for Jagerhorn. Also loved the Bear Grylls comment for the reasoning behind the bridge, very accurate. XD
In Germany these kind of flatrides are called "Berg- und Tal-Bahn", which can be translated as "Mountain- and Valley-Ride" which really fits into your bavarian theming :)
A lot of them in America are called "The (Super) Himalaya" and have painted panels with weird mountain/arctic graphic art (they're not very accurately themed lol). And all of the kiddie versions I've seen are themed to be sleds. Definitely the best flat ride to pick for this project!
@@christhenerd8 Same in Canada, Himalaya rides are usually just at carnivals / pop-up theme parks more-so than established amusement parks in my experience. Quite nice on summer days because they usually blow cold air as part of the ride.
I haven’t played planet coaster in soooooo long, as I’ve been burnt out for a bit, but after watching the video, I feel so inspired! I love the way Silvarret pours detail into his parks! Great work silvarret! After this video I’m gonna go play planet coaster!
My god does this fit in the area! I love how you used the adventure piece to create the spire pillars, so clever and so good looking! And please if any theme park out there sees this, please open a park with all of silvs creations because it would be easily the best park in the world :P
Everything about this video is just the amount of something I didn't know I needed, on a day I needed it. Amazing episode as always, Silv. They might take time, but they're always worth the wait. And good luck Joey!
I think it would have been a better idea to try this on Untamed instead of Condor. But none the less, it's for a great purpose. Shame I will not be able to visit him on his marathon, I'm about a week to early at the park.
No matter how long, it's always worth the wait for a Silv video! Nice job buddy! I still think Big Grizzly Runaway Mine Cars is my favorite coaster I'll most likely never ride haha I just love the rustic theming and the rock work. If you haven't heard of them, checkout ReviewTyme's channel, they do some excellent videos on HK Disneyland which I think is one of Disneys most incredibly themed underrated parks.
It looks verry beautiful! I like this park and I hope that the pice count allows you to finish it! And it would be verry nice if the next episode comes a little bit sooner. :-)
Definitely, I've never been one to make many videos discussing upcoming games but I'm pretty hyped for the release, so once PlanZoo is out I'll make series on it!
Yo Silv. Since you're back, is there any way you could do a tutorial on a Gravity Group family coaster? With that out of the way, great work on this project, it's come together nicely (:
I was just thinking of pavilions that are similar to the one you did and I thought of the one in the Platzspitz park behind the Landesmuseum in Zurich and just realized it looks nothing like this one but it has a really cool design so maybe you could use it for some other build. (it's also not particularly Swiss. Mostly just this Belle Epoque iron construction but it's really dope.)
I totally just had to look up what Platzspitz park is, but thanks for mentioning it! It looks great despite maybe not looking very Swiss, could be an inspiration for a future Belle Epoque Fantasy Valley reincarnation.
Silvarret that would be really cool. Btw it‘s so awesome that you‘re doing a Swiss themed park. It‘s really interesting to see someone get inspiration from it. It‘s like getting a viewpoint from the outside.
Yay, Jägerhorn! Glad to see it back, and awesome scenery as always. But damn Silv, rant time. Your guest flow management is legit a hate crime there, haha! First, why is the entrance of the ride 10 kilometers away from the actual flat ride? On the other end why is the exit almost a wiennie?? And also, be aware of the flat ride design itself: On your configuration, the guests waiting for the next turn are parked at the back of the ride, staring at a wall. And when it's their turn, they have to walk all the way around to get on the plateform. Also, the guests exiting the ride will be taking the same route and everybody gonna bump eachother. It's not hard to fix, here's a proposal: i.imgur.com/Jx6ahWx.jpg Keep your lovely archway as both an entrance to the queue and to the ride itself (so if there's nobody the queue can be closed off ; one staff member could take care of both positions ; and having the last bit of queue covered is always something to keep in mind), and put the exit quietly to the other side.
for inspiration on nice theming (not really this style though) also check out Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany they have such a nice theming everywhere :D
@@Silvarret :D i guess i should've known you'd know it^^ i really like the theming, it makes the time there feel so special, even just standing around feels so different from normality :D
Oh this is really a sad one, woeldn't Joey get money from Vekoma he doens't bring Condor in to publicity, as they are not really proud of it, after Condor they changed the suspension of all they're inverted coasters, what improved a lot.

Very true (also Canadian), you're also more likely to see tarred shingle roofs and planed wood roofs before any tiling. :D
The Bob Ross of Planet Coaster.
Its a shame so many people I watched play this game stopped. I'm so happy you are still around.
Welp. Time to wait another 4 centuries till the next episode!
*come to the end of this video
Me: ah sh**, here we go again
I'm always so happy to see a Jägerhorn episode! This park is just beautiful.

And a funeral service

The metal roofs is a snow thing...At least, where I vacationed as a child in Lake Tahoe ,California. It was supposed to help the heavy snow slide off.
Silv. I love this addition! And that gazebo is just stunning! This is becoming one of my favorite series of yours. Keep it up mate :)

Finally Jägerhorn, our favorite! Would love to see it expand more and more with little lakes, streams, much pathways, buildings and hills around it :)

I was also scared to death by rollercoasters before I played pc and watched these videos. And I forgot just how beautiful this park is.
Everything about this video is just the amount of something I didn't know I needed, on a day I needed it. Amazing episode as always, Silv. They might take time, but they're always worth the wait. And good luck Joey!
I’m glad even you recognize that these episodes are so spread out
It so good to see our favourite Planet Coaster creator back!
I got a nosebleed once in el condor, from that day on I pass that rollercoaster.
Oooofff 400 times Condor lolololohaha after 1 time im dead
I think it would have been a better idea to try this on Untamed instead of Condor. But none the less, it's for a great purpose. Shame I will not be able to visit him on his marathon, I'm about a week to early at the park.
If I ride it twice, I will break my skull!
00:00 Wow, Planet Coaster looks so realistic! 😮😂

I'm definitely stealing that temple cog trick for a turret I have in mind. Cheers!
Woah, time flies! It's already 3019?
I'm a very simple man.
When I see a Silvarret video?
I click
Badass my man! I hope that your friend will reach his goal, so we better retweet for that experience of el condor!
Havent watched PlanCo vids in a while and clicked on Jagerhorn notification as soon as it was emailed :) I missed your amazing builds.
It looks verry beautiful! I like this park and I hope that the pice count allows you to finish it! And it would be verry nice if the next episode comes a little bit sooner. :-)
Instant like 😜 will we see more vids when planet zoo beta goes live?
Definitely, I've never been one to make many videos discussing upcoming games but I'm pretty hyped for the release, so once PlanZoo is out I'll make series on it!
Silvarret looking forward! Your work is very inspirational, big fan of Jägerhorn
Is this going to be a whole park?
/feint
Awww just one themed area...ok i'll take it.
Crazy good stuff as usual.
You should've made a small fountain in the pond by putting in one or two water jets. That would've have really topped off the area
Imagine 20 hours on an slc jesus

Do you have shaders in planet coaster ( if it's yes how do I get It also it looks beautiful)
Now you need Jägerhorn in Parkitect.

Maybe you should call the flatride "Schlittenfahrt" because the flatridevehicles looks likes sleds
...You're hired, good idea
Christ my mind went to "Shitterfart" because I thought you didn't like the ride...
Awesome detail!!!!
love this series
The wait was worth it!

POV! POV!
I'd love to visit your park
Im actually kind of concerned this person will get a permanent injury from riding an SLC that many times.. lol
Me too - but he told me there will be first aid staff present. So at least there's that, haha
Is there an onride of the Jägerhorn track?
BTW Silv will you be at the opening of Untamed (or go some other day to Walibi)?
Will we ever see some Planet Coaster content from you with UGC?
Joey is going to end up in the hospital himself
When will you release the next parkitecht campaign video?

Hey Silv, did you ever fix that one hole in the upper roof that you left there and copied around?
How to survive a vekomah SLC: Keep you head firmly pressed to the back of the seat.
On the back and on one of the sides of the restraint, it helps me survive those Vekoma SLCs.
I assume that "insert timeskip here" was a mistake but honestly it's pretty funny. You should do that all the time lol.
well, it was a timeskip. From 2019 to 3019 to be exact!
1:34 "I'm just kidding, of course"
Are you really though?
So i'm guessing it's like Coasting for Kids and Make a Wish in the states
Silvanator: Genesis
It's unbelievable how easy you make look this, it's even unfair 😅
😍😍😍😍
that poor guy has to ride that vekoma SLC 400 times!!!!
1.5 years later......
Jägerhorn reminds me of the houses near me 😂
I consider riding a Vekoma SLC 400 times to be self harm
Quick reminder that this series started in April 2017
Good call
Oh this is really a sad one, woeldn't Joey get money from Vekoma he doens't bring Condor in to publicity, as they are not really proud of it, after Condor they changed the suspension of all they're inverted coasters, what improved a lot.
Woooow 👍🏻 !!! 🇨🇱
go full wonderworld and start carving your parks out of foam
Trevor Allen Silvarret I second this
Holy shit ik wist het, ik wist gewoon dat je Nederlands was.

I think he is going to get a big headache
It is the oldest coaster in the park
Lost Gravity or Untamed would be better
Come on, the Monte Leone ist the most average flatride in the game😂
Are you dutch!
Nobody except dutch people know what "opkikker" actually means 😂
I swear you sound like thenthapple
First. Best place on the ride.
