My clinic removed multiple golf balls from a single dog, a mouse cat toy from dog that did not live with cats ( Nobody knows where they got the toy), a sewing needle from a cat's throat, yarn balls ( Yarn and string are NOT toys, folks!), rocks.... lots of rocks, various children's toys from Lego to plushies, various adult toys but mostly C-rings, jewellery, rubber washers. Luckily, we've never had dogs eat knives or snakes eating heating blankets. I've heard stories/seen x-rays but thankfully never seen it myself.

When I was training to be a Vet Nurse, I heard from a classmate of mine where a dog swallowed a lil toy ball and had to get surgery to get it out!
