R.I.P little Charlie so sorry for the loss of this little dog. Some people shouldn’t have animals Thankyou to the people that pulled the poor cat out of Bondi beach well done to Dr Chris and his student nurse for saving this poor cat and to the police for finding the owner I hope they are facing jail time for what they did to the poor cat totally horrific and disturbing I hope they find him a loving home for ever
What happened to Charlie wasn't his owners fault. Charlie had a rare immune condition in which his immune system keeps his blood from clotting causing him to have occasional flare ups of internal bleeding. When he gets sick it makes his condition like 10 times worse. Tbh it was just a matter of time before he would get too sick to save. It's just sad to know it may have been from going on a fun beach vacay with his family (sand flea bite)

The fact that a cat had been locked in a cage and thrown into the ocean is horrifying! I’m so glad the owner who did this was arrested. Hopefully they were punished in some way for the terror they put their cat through.

It triggered my memory of sitting in the grass outside of the emergency vet with my dog, telling him I'd fight for as long as he wanted, but I wouldn't make him suffer for selfish reasons. I was crying with them, and over that personal moment. Pets are so special.
I wanted to be a vet as a child but now that I’m an adult my heart couldn’t take it. I can’t stand to see an animal in pain and hear him/her crying in pain
That is heartbreaking about Charlie. They tried their very hardest but I can imagine how destroyed his owners must be. My dog has a clotting disorder and I can tell you it's truly a horrible, horrible, evil problem. It looks like he's bleeding out from the inside when he has a crisis, bloody bruising that is just terrifying. It sounds like poor Charlie had other underlying issues as well. The vet has my dog on daily steroids for the rest of his life (it helps stop platelet destruction) and I say whatever it takes!

I love and appreciate all the vets and nurses, but to me Nathan is an unsung hero what a good guy he is, hes rather stoic but you can def see his heart is on his sleeve.

Thank you to Charley's family. I lost my beloved Coco due to this horrible illness. He was an American Eskimo Dog I had rescued 5 months prior. We bonded immediately and so deeply. If the family had just told the rescue of this preexisting life threatening illness I could have gotten him treatment. I've been devasted by his loss& blaming myself for not knowing what was happening. Your gift to me is knowing that even with a lifetime of love and vet care, this illness can take our beautiful companions quickly and in a devastating manner. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family. To Scott and Emma thank you for trying so hard to keep Charley alive. I hope Charley and Coco are running together over the Rainbow Bridge while they wait for us. 💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾
Some Humans Really Suck at being Humane! Thank Goodness for Such Incredibly Talented, Caring Vets like Scott and Chris and Their Amazing Team Members!!
Huey became George, and Chris adopted him, and owned him till his death. Chris now has a black and white female named Cricket. Poor Huey (George) was so traumatized by what happened that he didn't trust anyone. I don't blame him. At least he died with someone who loved him. He did come around with time. (Jan Griffiths).
May be 2 months late on this comment but I just want to say how much I appreciate you Bondi Vet and all Vets across land. I’m so sorry for your loss, I know what it fills like to loss a pet. My Dachshund passed away 4 years ago and I still miss her to this day. And she was more than just a dog, she was apart of my family, she was my friend and she felt like a daughter to me, and I will never forget her.
That poor cat nearly died! How could someone be so cruel?! Luckily there were witnesses and the police were able to track down the person who did this based on the descriptions given by the witnesses. I hope the person was charged with felony animal cruelty and put in jail for a long time.
Poor Woody is alive because a neighbor heard him. He must have been terrified. Poor Charlie he's in a better place with no more pain or suffering Sweet Angel.
very upsetting about charlie, but thank you guys for posting a case that didnt turn out the way we all wanted to. i know everyone wants all the animals to survive, but unfortunately patients are lost and im glad you guys showed us the reality of the heartbreak everyone goes through when an animal doesn't make it. ):

Poor Charlie ...how kind and generous Nathan and Maisie are. Wow above and beyond...I understand trying to save our beloved pets lives, but hard to see them suffer. I'll tell you Bondi Vets are amazing how hard they fight for these humans and their pet family members. In the States I dont think they would not have gone to such lengths. I appreciate their devotion to life. I would not have taken that route. Personal limits up to each individual. I dont know. No right or wrong here.
Poor Charlie, my heart is broken for everyone who loved him. My first dog, penny was a rescue dog. We only got 4 years with her and we had put her to sleep because she was so poorly. My family and I rescued a couple of month old puppy jack Russell called pepper, and she is much more than a pet. She’s a massive part of the family. I miss penny so I can only imagine how Charlie’s family felt. Gotta show respect to the vets who did everything they could. Everyone of the vets and nurses on bondi vets are amazing. Thank you bondi vets for everything you do for our furry family members
I thought I read that Chris' cat was thrown in the ocean in a cat carrier! I was seriously hoping something so horrific hadn't happened TWICE! How did he end up with Huey and how did Huey have a third name change? It's hysterical knowing they are together now after Huey's "goodbye"!!!
Oh that was amazing how the little Dog lived after biting a puffer fish ! Such a good story ! All your stories are so good ! I wish I had a vet like you all here in Alaska! I do have a good vet but you at Bondi Vet are Awesome! ❤❤❤
Affects my heart every time there's a lost life open animal it just kills me I can't imagine how hard it is for you all when you try so hard 2 save them
Think about it this way: Charlie’s pain is over. Charlie doesn’t have to deal with the trauma either. If Charlie had lived, he would have had to deal with that trauma. Yes, it was tragic. An awful experience. But they tried. Sometimes people fail. But Charlie isn’t in pain anymore. Charlie won’t feel the pain ever again. Charlie won’t have to deal with the fear, anxiety and emotional distress ever again. Charlie’s owners will be okay too. It’s hard to lose a loved one, a family member. Listen, they made his passing as painless as possible. They never gave up. Need blood? I’ll be there in 10 minutes! The vets stopped everything they were doing to even have a chance at saving that dog.

Im so sorry Charlie didnt make it..the loss of a dog leaves a hole inoir hearts..i thank Godxfor making dogs who give us socmuch love and loyalty.
So glad Bella survived and also the kitty cat.
Im so grateful for vets who fight so hard to keeps our pets healthy and battle to keep alive. ❤❤❤
All the vets and nurses tried so very hard to save poor Charlie’s life. I have tears running down my face. Our pets are family to us.
Blessed Charlie & blessed Maisie for her gift of blood to her fellow species. Good effort to you all. What you all had to say is beautiful & applicable to us all regardless of circumstances. Thank you!
Watching them tackle Mazie to get that muzzle on was hilarious if it wasn’t so incredibly sad but also so absolutely wonderful to have her their to help poor little Charlie. You guys all do your very best and I seriously thank every single one of you for having the strength to do this important work and be able to not go down yourselves with extreme PTSD. Bless you all. Thank you. I’m in Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 and I love watching your shows. All your staff and participants are just so lovely. Thank you.🙏❤️🙏
I wanted to be a vet but I think the heart break of losing a patient would’ve just destroy me. ❤❤❤
Im a vet now became a vet a few years ago
Poor gorgeous little bella. She’s so cute. I bet she’ll never mess with anything in the ocean again. What a good girl!!
Thank you so much veterinaire help and rescue a poor dog and take care of a poor puppy are the best health, wish it the luck.
My condolences to the family who lost Charlie 💜🌹
Thank you for helping the animals
Bella😪😔,her crying broke my heart and her owners ♡...I'm so glad she recovered
I don't know how you deal with all the terribly sick dogs!! Its heartbreaking for me!!
Gosh that was hard to see, poor little Charlie unfortunately I had seen this episode before and remembered the outcome, and the other fur babies have awesome parents and veterinarians, but heartbreaking to see and hear them go through the trauma.
I love and appreciate all the vets and nurses, but to me Nathan is an unsung hero what a good guy he is, hes rather stoic but you can def see his heart is on his sleeve.
Totally Agree Nathan is so sweet his dog is amazing for donating blood even if it was a struggle Emma is a wonderful person Maz and the other Vet all fought for Charlie 💜🐕💜
This is where you see the depths of these wonderful amazing peoples soul and know the purity of their love for their "calling" and for the precious angels they care for 🙏🐾🙏
I hope that cat finds new owners who care for him, thank you for those who cared to rescue him
My💔broken with Charlie 😢😢
God BLESS YOU a LOT 4 all the animal's YOU HELP them.
There are no words to Express how much I truly respect and love the Bondi Veterinarians and staff. You are all angels on earth here to serve for our fur babies 😇🐶🐱❤🤗
Much love from Southern California!
💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾
Is not ur fault I hope you will stop blaming ur self u did all you can do
Some Humans Really Suck at being Humane! Thank Goodness for Such Incredibly Talented, Caring Vets like Scott and Chris and Their Amazing Team Members!!
Thank god for people like you’s helping our poor animals god bless you all 😢❤️
I've never seen an animal quite so angry with poor Chris than Hughey X'D
And to think they became house mates!!
Zawsze Was ogladam. Cudowni ludzie ... Pozdrawiam z Krakowa .Polska !!
May be 2 months late on this comment but I just want to say how much I appreciate you Bondi Vet and all Vets across land. Honestly you all deserve so much for the help you give, me myself as an animal lover, you are like doctors helping family members and I really appreciate what you all do. Thank you for doing your best to save our family ♡︎
Why would these people do so much harm to the poor cat? and who would? I love animals
Man, when he yelped as he was picked up off the grass my eyes teamed up. He must have been in so much pain.
Poor Woody is alive because a neighbor heard him. He must have been terrified. Poor Charlie he's in a better place with no more pain or suffering Sweet Angel.
Shirley Laboy I wonder what he was doing his owner was obviously distraught
Y'all are very special humane people. Thanks so very much for all y'all do!
♥️🌹🌹🌹♥️
Woody's guardian warms my heart. Woody isn't a guardian dog, Woody is his friend.
You vets are heroes! Never forget you take care of some of the most important family members some of us have ❤❤. Thank you ❤❤
very upsetting about charlie, but thank you guys for posting a case that didnt turn out the way we all wanted to. i know everyone wants all the animals to survive, but unfortunately patients are lost and im glad you guys showed us the reality of the heartbreak everyone goes through when an animal doesn't make it. ):
I can’t stop crying! I really thought he’d pull through! My emotions are completely battered! Love these vets, wish mine was this compassionate, he truly is Mr personality bypass for sure! Maybe I’ll emigrate 😂
when scott said he didnt make it i literally felt my heart drop, omfg im tearing up, its so sad
Amazing vets and nurses. The work they do is second to none. Nearly better care than given to humans at times!
It just hurts when I see such an innocent creature in so much pain
Poor wee darling. I love this vet he is so caring and loving ❤
Oh hey, Huey is Chris's cat George. Lol.
Was** he unfortunately passed away a few years afterwards
Oh that was amazing how the little Dog lived after biting a puffer fish ! Such a good story ! All your stories are so good ! I wish I had a vet like you all here in Alaska! I do have a good vet but you at Bondi Vet are Awesome! ❤❤❤
Let's give an applause to the amazing vets, videographers and editors.
Also Rest in peace Charlie
Affects my heart every time there's a lost life open animal it just kills me I can't imagine how hard it is for you all when you try so hard 2 save them
Think about it this way:
Charlie’s pain is over.
You are absolutely right
Whomever has you for a friend in real life is blessed. You are a sound reasoner and comforter. Have a wonderful day!
@@donnawatkins8404 thanks! Honestly I just try to look on the bright side on situations which make people cry. In this case, Charlie doesn’t feel anymore pain. That’s what matters, right?

As a former small animal surgical tech(that is what they called us in the US back then) this show brings back so many memories. Thank you
Australia looks like such a beautiful place, my cousin loved going there when he was in Vietnam during the war. With all the toxic animals, ticks and etc, not sure if I would move there.
These animals just break my heart. We need people doctors that care much about their patients. God bless.
I have so much admiration for the people who can do this work and make a career of it, coping with the pain, death, struggle and cruelty of humans. It was always my dream as a kid, but I finally understood that I could never manage what they must and keep my sanity. Too hard. Bless all vets who do such valiant work with such great, huge hearts and souls.
I laughed and cried at the same time with Bella, she looks drunk and high... poor girl.
I am so thankful for all vets
