Fairly certain the drastically reduced exp gain in the boss stage is to prevent farming for later stages (when they get implemented); as well as to have you more heavily rely on the build you now, rather than farming on the fodder while running away, getting a bunch of upgrades, then killing it once you're strong enough. It makes the boss more of a threat.
You really need to look in to a defense build. It isn't bad in this game you can reduce damage taken to zero.
It would help to balance your upgrades. Those dmg increases look good but are much less useful if you attack slow as hell. And it don't matter how much damage you can do if you die in just a couple hits. That dodge is good but it don't always save you when your swarmed. Defense is NOT worthless and i don't get why you keep saying it is. You can literally beat this with a defense+thorns build with hp regen and no leveled weaps.... It's what i like about the game. Multiple builds actually work instead of just a meta one.
2 things:
1. Boss stages are great for farming since the stage doesn't end unless you kill a boss.
2. Defense upgrades are broken. You need 3 things - a golden defense upgrade, thorn and garlic or thunder staff for the damage part and you can literally stay next to bosses and see them kill themselves. Try doing a thorn build and see how it goes but I wouldn't get it before getting the turtle upgrade if I were you. HF
Did i miss it or why is my version different, i dont see achievement unlocks and got everything unlocked already and shop prices show.
Missed HP regen on stats screen on the top , and making dash without cd would again kind of make you op, since dashing gives you invulnerability if you remove or reduce cd to a point you should dash in place to never die.
His version is different. In one of the earlier episodes he said that he got a closed beta version with achievements and endless mode
Just assume if you see a UA-cam playing one of these types of games, they have the Early Access version. Kind of lame.
I think sifd meant that even if you have three dash charges available, you can't use up all of the charges one after another without delay between them

Hey bud, i lov3 ya but sometimes less is more.. I love the way you get into the games and absolutely balls it up with ya terrible strats then kinda figure it out on the rare occasion. I love ya channel and you can ya please do me a favour and do a vid or 2 with POST commentary. I think it will be a hugs improvement 🤗
my guess on the 0 to 0 piercing on the arrow is that arrow use to have piercing. The piercing got removed, and the dev forgot to remove the text.
It would be interesting if there were more kind of quests (answer with your ideas)
- Capture points (monsters give no xp, but capturing a CP gives one level each so you cant level be staying outside the area)
- defend the target (you have to protect a target and if it dies the stage is over)
- trap gauntlet (get through the maze and dodge or tank traps)
- Elites with interesting mechanics (destroy the energy crystals first, before you can damage the boss)
- Escort mission (push a target on a rail through checkpoints, get 1 level for each CP)

The destroy energy crystals on elites gives me dead cells hate, those fuckers are so anoying
I think the bow was only bugged in terms of UI. If I saw correctly it did actually pierce
45:58 you do know how hard it is to test everything right? I'm making my own game and it is so hard trying to hung all the bugs and honestly find what went wrong.

Man I hate games prevent you to do this to do that. Its a game yo. Vampire survivor was the real MVP. This game copies trying to be unique makes it more boring or they f the game more. That spear and bow run was pretty stressful It felt like you play with depression.
I think piercing 0-0 may just indicate it will get some piercing at some level.

Two 25% chances to hit means you have a 56.25% chance that neither hits. Chance of missing one is 1.00-.25=.75. Chance they both miss is miss chance times miss chance or .75 × .75 = .5625. So, in terms of consistency, you'd be better off with them adding together for a single 50% trigger.

Hey sifd, I’ve got the chance to test defense and spear build and boy I was invulnerable. All you need is to roll the Turtle upgrade and casually pick up good defense cards. I got myself 1 good regen card, but the rate at which food drops is enough to suffice getting swarmed. By the time I reached final boss, it did so little damage I just stood there and killed it.
It might not be your play style, but it surely makes you feel invincible.
Coins are based on the stage you are at it's between 4 and 12 coins from regular mobs and 20-40 from Elites from what I've seen
how about a backpack hero run? when ever there is a weapon you hadn't you have to take it. all the weapons for sifd.
You should try a run where you pick every weapon and weapon upgrade the game gives you

I don't know if they need to raise the chances of you finding more of all weapons you already have, but I agree that they need to at least give you a better chance of getting more of your starting weapon.

the hp regen was actually in stats, it was second from the top, next to the knight in upper left corner

If the Movement Speed increases Attack speed actually updated the % field, it would create an infinite loop in the coding. The buff has to be added outside of the base calculation. X + Y = X which will always substitute itself in its own equation.

That makes no sense, it would just be (atk speed stat)+(bonus from speed)=(effective attack speed). Why would it ever plug back in and loop.
@@Thanatos9876 the shown stat is attack speed, it was directly affected by attack speed, it was not reflected as "effective attack speed". Your assumption is correct X + Y = Z, however that is not what was implied in the video or the UI. If "Attack Speed" + "Movement Speed" = "Attack Speed" as stated in the video it's a loop. Quite simple.
@@Violaetor the way it work is : AttackSpeed = AttackSpeed * MovementSpeed/baseMovementSpeed (it's can't be lower than base attack speed)
and it won't loop, the whole stats are recalculated from scratch everytime it need to be refresh (to avoid any loop or weird issues)
I think the dev should add more weapon types and infinite upgrades of the weapon
