Robinson's Mall in Cebu is definitely underrated when compared to its close rival SM. I think its because majority of the income b, c, and d demographics prefer SM. IMO, Robinson's Mall has a better architectural appeal PS - You are now a rock star in Cebu!! Good for you man!

Robinsons Malls are actually chill malls, they are always decently sized malls compared to massive malls like SM & Ayala Malls.
One thing I also like in Robinson's Galleria Cebu is their basement parking. It's well lit, the columns are painted with a beautiful color scheme and parking bay info. It's the best parking in my opinion here in Cebu compared to other malls and hotels. It's so welcoming.

Please dont limit yourself to always eating fried chicken and Jollibee. Im not Cebuano but Im recommending that you eat in AA bbq, Chikaan, Cnt, Ricos and Sutukil. And for refreshments please try the Cebu Mango shakes. Theres more to authentic Cebuano foods than fastfood
Don't forget Orange Brutus and Dimsum too.

Hello Sir, if you are still in Cebu, try to explore also the Northern part of Cebu, you will surely love it, Bantayan Island, Camotes Island and Malapascua Island are some of the gems here in Cebu North.
Camotes is in EAST OF CEBU not NORTH

I remember my college professor told us that he'd rather go to a Robinson's mall sale than a SM mall sale. And I agree with him. Actually if you want more value for your money during mall sales, better choose Robinson's mall sale
My sister, who budgets our money, always pick Robinson’s mall sale over SM. Robinson’s offer 6 months to pay, interest free. SM only has 3 months.

There was an urban legend about Robinson's Mall years ago. As a kid, I was terrified to go to this mall.

This urban legend is in Robinson's Galleria in Pasig City, the one near SM Megamall. It said that one of the son of the owners was half human, half snake. They hid him inside the mall, making him live inside the back spaces of the mall waiting for lost kids, shoplifters, young women etc. to victimize. But in reality, it is just a story parents tell their kids for them not to wreck havoc/wander around the mall.

@@Evestar143 I think the woman was asking Mergim if he didn't want ice in the Ice tea or if liked ice in it. The reason they ask is that locally, people would prefer it without ice because it has more Tea in it and even without ice it is still cold, giving you more ice tea in the process.

Christmas in the Philippines will start on September 1, the BER MONTHS! The country which the longest to celebrate Christmas, especially here in Cebu up to January 31 the following year because of our Sinulog Festival! Hahaha
That Galleria is not much crowded even on weekend because of SM few blocks away. But i love to go there because its near the port ( i always go to bohol ) and the hotel that i regularly stay.
Cebu is well known for one of the best vocals and music intruments of the country thats why music symbols like guitar is showcase. I like 15mins massage on the chair. Haha

Most people do not understand how much it warms you up when a crowd of locals suddenly rush in to pose unplanned with you. That scene reminds me of the time I visited Barcelona when suddenly a crowd of high school girls ran to pose with me. Crazy and exciting for me too!

Robinsons Galleria is still under restoration since it was badly damaged during Typhoon Odette specially the terrace area which bore the brunt of the force of the typhoon

We also got to stay at the Summit Galleria Hotel that's connected to the mall just before the pandemic. It was an awesome experience there.

And when you went to Carbon Night Market the previous day, you also saw decorative guitars on the welcome arch. It's because Cebu is known nationally as a hub for guitar making industry which is centered on Mactan Island. In Mactan Island, you will find dozens of guitar factories (majority of which are family-owned factories) and guitar showrooms. While guitars are the centerpiece of these factories, they actually manufacture all kinds of stringed musical instruments such as banjo, ukulele, violin, etc. Guitar making industry in Cebu is as old as the history of Cebu island. cebu is the guitar manufacturing capital of the Philippines. try th spas and the blind masseuses. eat at Sutukil (sugba, tula, kilaw). sugba is grill, tula is broth, kilaw is cooked in vinegar. Also check out the world-class hotel resorts in Mactan Cebu.

I suggest you buy a sim card with the three network.. you should have globe, smart and dito. If you go in remote place, you have an option since every one them differ the speed from place to place. If your out of load, you can always buy a load in the sari sari store.. either for internet data or regular call and text, you can buy it in the sari sari store..
Roaming data is always expensive. Buying a sim on the country you are visiting is usually the best thing to do.

I really appreciate the thought! you are correct and that is a very good observation, I think Mergim is already starting to give out his business card that has his channel name and such, but I think the push to Subscribe is more subtle than the other vloggers. He reminds us to subscribe, like and comment by the end of the videos. Other Vloggers are doing that at the start! and telling people that we need to reach the goal by this month and such. Also because Mergim does not step down to the level of using Clickbaity titles, his content isn't pushed by the UA-cam Algorithm.

He has over a million subscribers and has been invited by the Philippines Tourism Board many times for showing the Philippines and its culture. He is based now in Cateel Davao del Norte.

Smart is actually better if you are traveling since it covers more area than Globe. Globe is better on urbanize area since its faster on populated areas.
