Yes. MCIA is the best gateway airport in the Philippines. Starting from the architecture, interior design, and most of all operation and management. Terminal 2 was developed by a Filipino Indian consortium, and they're also finishing the renos at Terminal 1 (domestic). They're already finishing another runway, plus have an expansion plan with another terminal next to this one. This airport is very efficient, inside and outside. Oh, it was designed to feel like one is at a resort, on holiday...good vibes.

Hey Mergim, 😊 Mactan Cebu International Airport was awarded at the World Architecture Festival, bested Singapore's Jewel Changi. Everytime I goes home to the Philippines, I always choose flight London to Cebu over Manila airport. Just very comfortable. 😊

This is a Wake up call for NAIA to be improved dramatically or if the option to replace NAIA as the gateway to Philippines is also should be considered. Cebu Airport, Clark Airport obviously beats NAIA at every level's.
Soon once the New Manila Intl Airport in Bulacan constructed, it will be one of the best and modern airport not only in the PH but in the whole of asia.

They are supposed to renovate NAIA (Megawide-GMR) but everything is business and their competitors are doing everything to prevent the contract to be awarded to Megawide-GMR (mactan airport developer)

We flew Mactan to Manila yesterday (gate 22B as well). Yes the new Mactan airport so so much better than NAIA which is a national disgrace. We were transferring to a flight to Bangkok and there were no signs where to go for transit passengers. We collected our luggage off the belt and were told we needed to leave it on despite on our previous journey we had to take it off and give it to someone. When we eventually got through the security for the international flight, there are no signs anywhere to show what gate to go to. There’s more to this story but in short, I don’t want to use Manila airport again if possible.

Cebu is the most popular tourist destination in the country and is very well known internationally. It has a very positive impression from tourists. 😂 The province has been the poster boy for tourism for decades. Whatever you find in metro Manila you will find in metro Cebu.

You know what I think could be an excellent content for your channel? Trying the newly renovated 2Go ships to travel from Manila to Mindanao and feature the facilities inside the boat. It’s a long ride though so it’ll be interesting how you will spend that for us.

The right hand man of Ang, Bonuan, was made the DPWH secretary & he'll be ready to integrate the various plans of SMC into the national infra vision

@Denniszen The airport will be connected by an airport express to Makati. I guess you just have the old Pinoy mindset that expect mediocre projects like before. But for a few years now, several projects have been started (some finished) which would open new mindset for Filipinos, that we're in the forefront in the region again. The new Clark airport will be connected by a high-speed train to Makati, it is being constructed now, the airport hub will be underground opposite the new Clark terminal. The Bulacan Airport will be connected by two train syatems: 1) extension of the MRT7 from Novaliches, being constructed now by SMC, 2) Airport Express direct to Makati.
Clark Airport also is a new airport in Pampanga with similar concept & almost the same design. Meanwhile New Manila Airport in Bulacan province is under construction now so Philippines will a have a bigger gateway soon connected by train to Makati / BGC area.

You should get Priority Pass. In Cebu International, the lounge is nice - food, shower, nice lounges, quiet.
