Hi, Nice video, i have a Ont and Vodacom router, on the ONT i noticed that the power cable has a 6pin socket which plugs into the ONT, that 6 pin socket wont fit into this UPS, how can i change the socket as the plugs given in this box dont fit into the ONT.

I’m not sure how your six pin socket look like but I believe there must be a converter available to allow connection with the ups

The 6 pin you are referring to is an older style ONT. You can contact your ISP and request an updated unit.

The R1818 is not working as expected. I got it on 19 October 2022 and since before Christmas holidays the UPS only works on electricity when it is charging. I don't know if the UPS burnt or what happened to it as I even changed the splitter cable as I thought that was the issue. Please help

You need check what mode it is on… it seems as if it’s on bypass which only works when power is on. There is button for backup mode that you need to press… it should be red when on, obviously without power from mains

I've got a Lal12b an I just wanna know why does my one show red only when it's plugged in an the green lights is off... As soon as I plug it out it goes green for a few seconds then it goes off please help what is the problem

It gets power both side. That’s why the lights are like that

Is a Lal12b no chargers only cables, I tried to follow the instructions, but I think I'm failing, the router that I'm using I can move around with it and it does not have an ONT
