They defy strict categorization - hard rock, power metal, but with 3 part harmony vocals, and more "ear hooks" than most pop songs. They just integrate so many styles into making their own... I do wish they'd jam / improvise occasionally - would love to hear Dany really let loose on a solo.
Ugh is the 3rd song on the Masterpiece concept LP Queen of the Murder scene, released in November of 2018. That makes Ale 12 or 13 yrs old, when they wrote this. 🤯
Danny is the absolute QUEEN OF THE BARRE CHORD! People don't realize the strength, stamina and skill it takes to fret barre chords and Danny uses them almost exclusively.
I have not seen this performance before. Amazing version of this song. You need to react to the full QOTMS album. Sinister Smiles is the best, but all in all it is a masterpiece.
Just an everyday song about a young woman, ignored by a person that she loves from afar, fighting a losing battle to save her sanity. You know, typical teenage stuff. ;-)
This is a great example of what it's like to be in the pit when The Warning are playing. Including all the fans singing along at full volume. The energy is palpable ;) You two need a road trip this summer to see them play live somewhere. C'MON!!!
The song that they almost gave up on. When they were composing songs for Queen of the Murder Scene album, this one gave me the most trouble. Two other songs emerged from it in the process and they wanted to quit trying on this one several times, prompting them to start referring to it as "Ugh". That's why the title stuck. Their dad kept telling them to finish the song and finally they did. There are so many transitions and changes throughout the song that it is still a real challenge for them to perform it live even after 5 years of playing it.
The band has released 4 songs all pro shot from a very recent show . Disciple, animosity, enter sandman and choke. Those are the live songs you should be listening to now
I would argue this is a better version of Ugh. While the sound quality isn't quite as good, the performance is even better imo, plus this version has Pau vibing super hard.
Nice reaction!! Something about The Warning that just keeps us coming back for more. It's like they beat you up, and you just keep coming back for more...lol
You 2 rock! What a great reaction. I can see that you have been "Warned!" I have seen all of your Warning reactions. You missed one. If you think Ugh was good you absolutely have to check out Dull Knives live at The Warning Cave. It's part of a free concert they gave in their basement studio during the pandemic. You will not be disappointed. Pau is a beast, as usual.
I was at The Rebel Lounge for this show. 3 hour one way drive, nearly 2 hours waiting in line in 100 degree plus AZ sun to get in. I would do it again to see The Warning! Incredible show. They are awesome live, small club 20 feet from the stage!
Love this song. They played just over 100 shows last year and I’ve seen at least a part of nearly every one because someone is ALWAYS in the audience recording it, sometimes it’s even their manager Rudy. But my point is that I’ve never seen a show in which they play ANYTHING in a lackluster way. It’s always 100% full on, even when they’re not feeling well.
Been a part of TWA for about 4years now, they are brilliant! I'm an old rocker who's seen em all, almost, from Slayer to The Kinks and these girls have renewed my faith in RnR, simply fantastic!!!
You folks NEED to react to the Teatro Metropolitan concert. The whole concert is the best sound quality of any live stuff they've done. That video quality is also superb.
Hey. This was the first concert I had gone to in about 35 years. I was 3-4 people from the front, a hair to the right of this guy. It was awesome. The Rebel is freaking tiny. Lol. Loved it! And props to Devora too!
It’s so much fun seeing them play up close in a small venue like this, however unfortunately (for us) that’s likely to become a less common occurrence in the future. Enjoyed your reaction! 👍😎
Great reaction from both of you, you get “into” your reactions just like TW get into their live performances! Hopefully soon, you will get react to their performances live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX in Aug 2022. The four released songs are Animosity, Disciple, Enter Sandman, and Choke. They are pro shot with the best quality video and sound of them live, to date!👀😊🤘⚡️
I absolutely love Pau's cymbal work in this song. The ride throughout the verse looks quite hard, but she makes it look like so much fun. And her attitude during her splash and crash sections in the chorus is just a joy to watch.
Hard to believe that the girls wrote this heavy hard rock number when they were about 17, 15 & 13 or even younger. As far as Pau is concerned I really love the old unbridled Pau who went rampaging on her drum kit. The Pau in this video is more restrained - she had learnt to conserve her energy in live shows by cutting out those exaggerated arm movements. Yes, I know its unfair to expect her to go hell for leather in hour long concerts. But then that used to be her appeal, her showmanship, her art if you like. Watch the "old Pau" and her sisters in 2018 Hell & Heaven Fest when they were 18, 16 & 13. They were slotted in as the 3rd group in an early start with a small audience. After watching the 1st couple of bands the sisters realized that they had come to a heavy metal festival. They were more or less convinced that the crowd will start throwing things at them & were ready to run away when they went up the stage. However after 1st couple of songs slowly the arena filled up with 20,000 metal heads rocking with 3 teenage girls including one in pigtails. Check out Pau in Dull Knives starting at 20:17 & her "machine gun" double kick drum at 22:40. Plus the professionalism of a pigtailed 13 year old Ale when her bass cuts off towards the end of their performance. ua-cam.com/video/zBwXucFErMU/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TheWarning
I like the small venue format and of course the black & white is awesome. Its a throwback feel to the English rock bands of the late 70's early 80's! ala The Clash.🤘
This one is from their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene, a concept album about a woman going off the deep end. Probably the best description I can come up with, it's just an amazing album with several types of songs on it. The album itself is a journey from into song (Dust to Dust) through the increasingly mad mind to The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade) and it's a rollercoaster of a ride with all songs connected to tell the story of the spiraling downfall. Wow, just realized what a mouthful this comment is, but it's how I feel about this amazing album. First time I saw them live was a private show at the Whisky where they performed almost all songs from XXI Century Blood as well as the full Queen of the Murder Scene + (!!!) a cover of Metallica's Atlas Rise as an encore!
POR FIN. Este para mi es el mejor video en vivo de TW. En este video demuestran la calidad que tienen en vivo, tocando en un bar pequeño en Phoenix,Az. Son increibes. Gracias por la reacción amigos.
Yes indeed. We reacted to it in our livestream but the song got the stream blocked. So we will snip it out and upload as a standalone as soon as we can
@Songs and Thongs sorry, I don't understand, some have have had it blocked after. Others nothing. Without modification. It is from their Chanel. Also, is it still in the stream???
Hey Guys!! You really should check out a better sounding version of UGH! It has been in my top 5 since I first heard it. Dany's savage guitar riffs and that Groove from Pau and Ale... Just Perfect
Don't get caught up in the spelling of Pau. It's pronounced POW! (pow-LEE-nah) That has to be the easiest ever nickname to remember for a powerful drummer. 🤩
They defy strict categorization - hard rock, power metal, but with 3 part harmony vocals, and more "ear hooks" than most pop songs. They just integrate so many styles into making their own... I do wish they'd jam / improvise occasionally - would love to hear Dany really let loose on a solo.
It's easy to become OBSESSED with The Warning. Believe me.
Ugh is the 3rd song on the Masterpiece concept LP Queen of the Murder scene, released in November of 2018. That makes Ale 12 or 13 yrs old, when they wrote this. 🤯

Love how Dany and Ale are wearing T-shirts of bands that opened for them on the Mayday tour. Hero The Band and Devora
Just an everyday song about a young woman, ignored by a person that she loves from afar, fighting a losing battle to save her sanity. You know, typical teenage stuff. ;-)
I WAS THERE!! My chest was blowing they are such pretty ROCK BEASTS!! 🤘🏼👹💥🤘🏼👹💥🤘🏼👹💥
You guys need to react to the latest Live videos that the Warning has released. The "Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX" videos. Top notch quality.
Nothing less than brilliant ... Every. Darn. Time.
Yes ... All-in all the time.
Three badass (yet humble and kind) ROCKSTARS.
Even with a cellphone mic, they sound incredible.
Paulina plays the cymbals as well as a drummer on th we planet. Fantastic.
This is such an underrated song by The Warning.
Love your reactions/ question have you ever seen a young 3 piece band with an extensive catalog of their own songs and not a bad song in the bunch??
Props to Dany and Ale for the Hero The Band and Devora tee shirts, their two openers for the Mayday tour!
Ellas saben lo que es una banda de apertura y respetan eso, the warning por siempre.
I hadn't seen that performance. Thanks.
Love that Dany is wearing that HeroTheBand t-shirt. They are stablemates at Lava Records, and it's so classy of Dany to promote them like that.
This is a great example of what it's like to be in the pit when The Warning are playing. Including all the fans singing along at full volume. The energy is palpable ;) You two need a road trip this summer to see them play live somewhere. C'MON!!!

They said they struggled to write this song so as to fit the narrative of the album.
Thus the title “Ugh”.
The band has released 4 songs all pro shot from a very recent show . Disciple, animosity, enter sandman and choke. Those are the live songs you should be listening to now
I was at this show, it was AMAZING!!!! THEY ARE AWESOME ANYWHERE LIVE!!!!
Yesterday they just drop the live versión on the same show of Money
Also Martirio is available.
I would argue this is a better version of Ugh. While the sound quality isn't quite as good, the performance is even better imo, plus this version has Pau vibing super hard.
They indicated that this was their most difficult song to write on the album. Yet, it turned out so cool.
That's why it's called "Ugh"... has nothing to do with the subject and storyline of the song; just that it was such a PITA to learn and perform...
In The Warning Army we say that Pau beats those drums like they owe her some serious money. Also I love Pau's cymbal work in this song.
And don't cross her on-stage persona in a dark alley...
@@DirtyCatBoxand really, really don't piss her off, or you might get a song written about it.
@@robertkrawitz8237 Truth. I feel sorry for whoever that was.
Did you see Pua do a little neck stretch (5:51) and just kill those drums. Also, Ale just owns this tune with her bass lines and Danny is all sass
Nice reaction!! Something about The Warning that just keeps us coming back for more. It's like they beat you up, and you just keep coming back for more...lol
She’s POW erful!!
I just love love this band

Great energy and riff. They're almost like the greatest garage band ever who bring the garage with them wherever they go.
U notice Pua does a little neck strech and then just kills the drums. This is Ale song. She just commands ther stage
If you do the album queen of the scene, this song is on there. That whole album tells a story, and this song has its own story in the album
for me... UGH tops Choke, Disciple and Evolve... "deal with it"!!! like the beat, its ROCKish and POPish!!!
I'm giving you a thumbs up, but come-on, really, don't have to choose! Their best song is whatever one your listening to right now!
Still one of my alltime favorite The Warning songs !!! 😁👍
Been a part of TWA for about 4years now, they are brilliant! I'm an old rocker who's seen em all, almost, from Slayer to The Kinks and these girls have renewed my faith in RnR, simply fantastic!!!
This performance is amazing!
from the best album of all time - QOTMS !!!!
The Warning always DELIVERS! That's the Mexican work ethic that is Legendary ...Love these 3 sisters 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Ugh. It was awesome!
First time I heard this one, it took me to a kind of 70's sound, specially the outro and ending...😀
You folks NEED to react to the Teatro Metropolitan concert. The whole concert is the best sound quality of any live stuff they've done. That video quality is also superb.

Me encantan sus reacciones 😊😊😊
song from the concept album queen of the murder scene (like dust to dust and queen of the murder scene)
Yes, The Warning rules! One of my favorite bangers on the QOTMS album. Thanks for the reaction!🤘

Can't go wrong with these ladies, at any age. 🤘😎👍
UGH baby 🤘🤘🤘🤘
We love The Warning!
This song is an absolute masterpiece!
Very cool!

The title comes their comment when they had to finish writing the song. They were having real problems during the process and wanted to give up.
The warning have been playing a new song called More. There are some good qualitie videos of it.
Just impossible not to love these 3 young ladies 🥰
Great reaction from both of you, you get “into” your reactions just like TW get into their live performances! Love the fan at the 4:39 yells f--- yeah! 🤘
I absolutely love Pau's cymbal work in this song. The ride throughout the verse looks quite hard, but she makes it look like so much fun. And her attitude during her splash and crash sections in the chorus is just a joy to watch.
You've been Warned 🤘
Just an unstoppable juggernaut of a song!!
Paulina beats those drums 🥁 like they owe her money 💰 and we love ❤️ her for it . Rock on 🤘
Mind blown again. Mission accomplished.
