Mam, I find your videos very helpful, thank you for posting. Just regarding exxonmobil I have one question. In the interviews and GD rounds, they only see how well u speak, they didnt ask technical questions at all related to chemical engineering. If only english and communication skills matter, then why exxon comes to chemical engineering branch for placements? Shouldn't the company go to english department or econonics department for taking in candidates and then train the selected ones for 1 year in the chemical engineering/business roles? Why waste time studying technical stuff when all that matters is only english?
Hey Abhrajit, I am glad you find the videos useful :) All companies now need their workforce to communicate well. You might be very good in chemical engineering but if you are not able to explain your ideas to your team or the client, that knowledge is useless. Hope this helps :)

Hi Nagalakshmi, my suggestion would be to always give your interviews from laptop and not from the phone. It looks more professional that way. Worst case scenario if you do have to give it via phone, keep it somewhere and don't hold it in your hand. That way you can use hand gestures :)
