- I've been sick of these damn helicopters interfering in my business so
I took matters into my own hands.
Footage is from the Escape From Pripyat 3.0 Modpack for Stalker Anomaly - Ігри
I worked with Duty for a while and well... helicopters not shooting at you is a real perk

This is cathartic even when I'm not doing it.
Not bad, not bad. I've always thought this was the best version of the RPG-7 in any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game or mod (because, in-game, it's easier to use with iron sights, plus the rockets are more realistically fast, whereas scope + slow rockets is more like Borderlands and is basically pointless). By that, I mean Anomaly's version in general. This mod has you aiming cockeyed which isn't really necessary for a right-hander since the sights are offset to the left (to facilitate easier use for a right-hander). The American version of the RPG-7, the PSGL-1, is ambidextrous.
How come i never heard of the PSGL 1 until now? Seems underappreciated as fuck if its an american version of the RPG 7
Edit: oh, PSRL-1, and modernized as hell! Wouldnt want to be in a T90 tank getting hit by one of those

Imo helos in the Zone kinda don't make sense after the Stingray disaster, so i always turn them off
Ah man helicopters, I originally turned them off in my current save because I thought they'd be OP, but afterahwile I turned them back on, haven't seen one yet tho once you destroy them do they drop loot at all?
You can pick up a flight recorder from them that certain traders will buy from you for a large cash sum
If you start a save with helis off you won’t be able to find them if you turn them back on.
Can you get loot from helicopters? Also can you shoot it down with an LMG (Ie SAW or RPD/PKM?)
You can get the flight recorder from the wreckage and sell it to various interested parties for cash

You can shoot em down with guns. Aim at the main rotor hub for extra damage. Still better with explosives tho even grenade launchers will do.
