Yeah if thats the case play on easy progression, the economy is hard. 60K for AK for example, and you get 4-5K for quest completion. I used to play on easy progression, but now imo the best parts of this game are when you are collecting money to repair your first rifle.
@@waschbalsam4520 I think that's true too, but I don't do things very efficiently, and I'm also playing with ballistic overhaul enabled. I need bigger guns to kill mutants, as they can take 20 shots sometimes to die. However, broken barrels nerf weapon damage to the ground, and I don't know a worthwhile way to repair barrels to full durability. This is on medium/medium by the way. It's going to take me a long time to play 3.0 on the hardest difficulty.
@@waschbalsam4520 Yup rods are still here, you can buyers at the Farm. I personally don't like ballistic overhaul because heads become bullet sponges. I rather turn it off and enable hardcore AI aim. I mean, we already take penalties for taking headshots, why allow medium/heavy armored enemies to soak a 12x70 buck to the forehead?
also playing on surivalist and hard.Early game as a merc is literally hell. going straight for the invictus challenge. Main problem is the broken economy. 95000 roubles for a medicine case.. :/ thats ridicolous. I know that goodwill affects the traders prices now,but given the fact,how slow you earn goodwill on surivalist it became a fucking grindfest
Tarkov surely was inspired by the Stalkers immersion and look, but this addon basically makes stalker more like Tarkov. In this case mod was inspired by Tarkov, but Tarkov was inspired by Stalker. So both I guess haha.
I was talking about general immersion, not gameplay. Stalker was probably a huge influence to Tarkov devs. I mean even the traders in Tarkov give me Stalker feel.

@@BrorealeK To repair barels you need to buy ramrod from the techncians I think. At least thats how it was in 2.2.

I think they made a patch where some medical items are cheaper. It's on their discord.

You can also alter trade prices in menu to a more realistic value.

I dont know about that, but I have heard that GSC might remake stalker Shadow of Chernobyl and other stalkers.
I would LOVE original SoC in a new version of Xray. I'm super excited for Stalker 2, but I've never played a game like SoC. So good!

This mod pack looks good, but that UI is awful. Doesn't have the Stalker feel to it at all.
It's supposed to lool like EFP UI. I prefer the original too though.
