Just watched you get into the hammock with the bug net. All I could think of as an old geezer dam I have to pee again for the third time tonight. ha ha. Bruce from the city of Orange in Orange county Calif.
Bruce Ferguson haha, yeah. I find that generally I sleep so soundly that I don’t wake up in the night to go to the bathroom. If I toss and turn in sleep then I’m up A couple times in the night. So the key is to get really comfortable. In colder weather I often use our Beast sleeping pad and attach our blankets, Osni Cloak, or Top Quilt to it. Then I get in and out just like at home.
@@wildernessinnovation Since I have you on the line sort of speak of, I have a question maybe you could answer. When I was in my early 20's, I was a youth councilor for my church. Wow that was 50 years ago. They talked me into going on a backpacking trip to the mountains. Not knowing anything I bought a tube tent which was a tube of plastic and a ridge line. Setting it up there was no designated floor or roof, so each time I set it up a different spot on the tube tent was the floor. Light rain was ok but heavy rain I found all the pin holes they were made when it was on the ground. I see tarp videos were they make a lean to out of half and the other half as a ground cloth. Also they make tents with tarps an drag the unused portions into the tent for a ground cloth. Won't they run into the same thing I did with small holes in their tarp from being on the ground even if you picked up rocks and twigs before set up? Thanks for your video's I have been learning a lot. Bruce from the City of Orange in Orange county Calif.
Bruce, yes anything can start to get holes 🕳 fabrics can be less likely than the super thin weak plastic in the tube tents. Our Storm Shield is like the tube tents but closed on one end. They are light but quite durable. I watch for obvious things on the ground but I don’t have to be too picky. Thanks for the question.
Howdy-do!? I am interested in your products, however, I need to know specific weights for each specific product before I can pull the trigger. I see that you have ballpark weights, however, I am very weight conscious, so I need specifics. Keep up the good work!
Wilderness Innovation I apologize for the delay in response. I will try to narrow it down to the Poncho shelters I am most interested in so I will get back to you shortly-ish. Thanks!
Wilderness Innovation ok, so I did find the weight of the product I'm most interested in which is that pssl in multicam. 14 oz. Now that 14 oz multicam would be under the option: multicam + $24, right? What is the weight limit on that silnylon multicam for hammock use? I don't suppose that silnylon multicam is fire retardant is it? No big deal if it isn't. Thanks in advance!
Joseph, the silnylon Multicam fabric is no longer available, we had been waiting for word from our supplier when they would get new stocks, they have just recently indicated no new stocks are being produced. We have another nice silnylon camo too, Realtree Xtra UL. We have sold tons of these two fabrics in the last few years. We have the same fabric in non-camo in our Super UL line.
That blanket pod set up would go into the teens, it could be added to to go lower. We have transitioned to our Osni series of blankets and poncho liners now which are much lighter more compressible and warmer. The Osni poncho liner can snap into the poncho or can snap under it as an under quilt or be used as a blanket. Thanks for asking.
Let’s get us a new updates to this video with the osni gear with the slider instead of the blanket
The way you gather the cord through the sleeve, doesn't that fucus the stress on the point where the cord exits the sleeves?

Let me know which products and I will give you the weights. We offer so many variations and choices it's hard to list everything online. Thanks Perry

Wilderness Innovation that's understandable. Do you have 1.9 multicam? And what's the approximate weight on that? Thanks!
What kinda temp will it go down to Perry?

So you make a "how to" video and you delete scene with the most hard "to do" part. Wrong way sir.
