The Maonocaster C2 Neo is the latest maonocaster with many things a new podcaster or live streamer or any content creator looking to get started. First off you get 60db of gain to run just about any microphone. The real improvement comes from the self monitoring button on the unit that let's you hear or not hear yourself. So you can check your mic levels then push a button and just hear anything you are pulling in in through the manocaster. That could be a phone connected connected through aux input or connected Bluetooth. You may also be playing music or a internet browser from your computer though the loopback channel. No matter what it is you can adjust your volume from the headphone slider. Ohh did I mention the Neo can run for about 8 hours from a built in Battery?? The monster pitch sounds like a rogue, menacing robot 😂 Overall the features are nice for $50, especially the music ducking under your voice. 🎙 The mic volume issue is a real challenge though
Yeah so it's 60 bucks but I have a 15% coupon in description. It's well worth it for the money. The volume mixed in with the big knob is only a issue if you don't realize it.

For the sound effect buttons that you program can you import sound you already have on your computer like a theme song or an intro or outro for like a podcast
You can either connect Bluetooth and play a sound and record or connect to the 3.5mm aux and record sound too.

also when going through tick tock live studio. microphone sound is flat in studio buts sounds fine through headset
Record in Audacity and if it sounds good then it's a setting your missing.
when i use audacity people tell me its like hearing a double voice

@@al68nashville it sounds like your very new to all this. It takes time. What I'm saying is if your recording of yourself sounds good then it's a setting in tic tok your missing. If your hearing your self double in Audacity it's either window settings or your chosen input and output in Audacity

i bought it, but I got a problem with any son that comes to mine, and I'm coming back to a sneaky little squeaky even using the noise cancellor, I'm switching phone, wiring wires, everything works perfect in another device, but with the maono doesn't funicate, reminding that when I record my sound is crystalline, the problem is when I'm listening to sound monitor by the maono
This sounds like you have a problem with the headphone preamps. I would reach out to maono and let them know. You did everything you could do to test it.
I'm having a hard time understanding loopback. I use 2 PC's to stream, one for gaming and one for streaming duties. I would like to be able to have game audio which I have coming from a 3.5mm jack separate from my mic audio, both coming from the C2 Neo. Maybe, I can use the 3.5 game audio going to the aux port, and then use stream out to the line in port on my PC for a separate game. What do you think?
OK let's see..So whatever pc you have the Neo connected usb you will be able to use the loopback. It can be as simple as that. Honestly I'm not sure but I'd think the loopback would output the main 1 and 2 and aux would be just aux so don't think that would work. Lmk what you think. Audio routing isn't the strong point here.

I know this is kind of old but I can not get my pitch presets to work. And when I turn on direct monitor it just echos real bad but it’s brand new so I’m not sure if it’s messed up or not
The echo is probably your settings setup wrong but the buttons not working??? Maybe get a replacement.
The usb out works as designed and controls the entire usb output volume. Now why Maono put that as the central big knob is a mystery. Haha.

I've seen on many of these reviews about using a smartphone for music, but can you actually bring in a phone call (such as a call-in) for a two-person podcast with one person on the XLR microphone and the other person on the phone call? Does the TRRS cable provide the capability for the person on the phone to hear you? or on the Bluetooth? Has anyone tested this? Thanks to anyone that answers.
I wouldnt us bluetooth for phone calls but I'll try both out this weekend and record it and listen back.
