I've seen on many of these reviews about using a smartphone for music, but can you actually bring in a phone call (such as a call-in) for a two-person podcast with one person on the XLR microphone and the other person on the phone call? Does the TRRS cable provide the capability for the person on the phone to hear you? Thanks to anyone that answers.

I believe that is a USB mic, so no you wouldn't be able to use it with this interface, you would need to use an XLR mic

Yes, or if you have a second USB cable, you can have it plugged into power as you use it

Well do you separate the voice recording and shoot it separately with the camera or do you put the mic into the camera?

Hi, yes I record the vocals separately and then I sync the audio with the video in editing. If you are using Adobe Premier Pro, it's very easy to do. You first put your video track onto the timeline, and then you take the audio track that you recorded and put it below the video track and then you highlight both the audio and video tracks and right click > synchronize and then select audio. Then you can delete the video's audio track and just keep the audio from the external microphone

Also, once I have just the video with the new audio track, I select both of them and then right click > link and this will connect the video with the new audio track
