Honest take: Maono has proved over time to be a solid maker of quality audio gear that won’t break the bank. The G1 Neo, continues that legacy.
I bought it 2 weeks ago on sale for 40 bucks on Amazon honestly for the price there isn’t anything better for a streaming audio interface. Yes playback isn’t that great but passable and the build quality doesn’t seem great but you can’t go wrong. Especially for someone starting out in streaming or VO. Definitely recommend.

My son is a pc gamer. Is this something he can use for in-game play/chat and not necessarily streaming? Would the recorded sound buttons and voice changer be heard in his game through his headset mic or the mic? Sorry I am a bit confused.

I need some help. So I recently bought a Maono G1 gaming mixer for my XLR mic and my dual PC setup. The mixer is connected to my stream pc (via USB) and I connected an aux cable from my mixer to my gaming pc. To get game Audio in my headset. But when I am in a discord chat on my stream pc. My mic acts like a speaker and people can hear my game audio coming from my gaming pc through my mic. How do I fix this? Any tips help. I’ve tried everything.

Is that a USB power only? Unlike the 2i2 that has power and data on same port?
idk what im doing wrong but i get a maaaaad buzzing noise through my headset. I use this paired with the maono pd200x with an xlr cable. i tried using just the USB from the mic to my pc but the buzzing noise still happens lol. im lost :(
That buzzing can sometimes be caused when multiple devices require power and buying some ground loop isolaters can help

You need a splitter cable that splits audio and mic, plug into controller, plug headset into the audio split, then plug an aux into your mic split end, and plug that aux into the back “speaker icon” output.
It’s a lot of cables but it works.

Wasting space on a Reverb knob instead of providing a set of small EQ knobs is just too "asian" karaokish for me. Make a budget podcast mixer with EQ, compressor and built-in adjustable sound profiles, instead all that voice modulation junk and fixed "kissy-" and "yeeehaaww" buttons. We're not 7 years old, dammit!
