- We are milling more Yellow Pine for the Workshop Siding & Framing. It takes time to prepare raw material from the source to its purpose in Building. It is inexpensive to make if you have a sawmill. Follow along this series here on the main channel. Link for second channel below.

Seriously, I love when you interact with your pups. That is so awesome. You can tell they are really loved.
I was wondering what country that you are from? I noticed the Flag.
Really loved and reallllly spoiled, lol. Thanks! -Jennifer
When you have the right machinery and material everything seems very easy, but it is very hard work. Love when Jennifer comes and help and tells jokes😊
Thank you, Irene! It does seem easy, but you are right it is incredibly hard. -Jennifer
Good morning Richard, tell Jennifer to keep those jokes coming. I love them! Also, just a thought mind you, you had talked about using the top third of the shop for storage and such. You might want to put a vent up there for light and air flow on those hot summer days. It's just a thought. May you and yours have a wonderful weekend 🤠
Great idea! Thanks so much! We appreciate you! -Jennifer
P.S. Glad you like my jokes! LOL
So very sorry for the loss of your cousin. May God give you peace and comfort in your time for of grief.

You’re a blessed man Richard. Jennifer and her jokes never get old but it’s quite evident just how much respect and love she has for you. I know your son feels the same way too. And let’s not forget about the dogs either.
This. 👆🏻👆🏻 You hit the nail on the head. To read that and know it is evident to viewers how much I love and respect my daddy means everything to me. Thank you so much for saying that. ♥️♥️ I am also glad you like my jokes! -Jennifer

It never gets old seeing how excited the dogs get when going to the creek. The place is looking great as well. And, like the deer, I like deery quenn also. 😁Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! We appreciate you. -Jennifer
Gods blessings are over you
Thank you so much!
You folks are doing a wonderful job around there. The surrounding are has cleaned up a lot and really looks great . Keep up the great videos and the work you all share and of course the fun too. Stay safe, Fred.
Thank you so much, Fred! We appreciate you!! -Jennifer
You are one hard working man. If it were me, I would be using a chop saw to cut those. Whatever you build will last for another 2-3 generations , at least.
I find it more relaxing and therapeutic do use the handtools actually. I don’t see it as work I see it as fun. Hoping to use more handtools and less of my battery operated tools if possible until I can’t do it anymore
Another great video! Loved seeing some work on the workshop. So nice watching Smoky and Dolly running to the creek! My dog loves watching them.
That is awesome! Thanks! -Jennifer
Checking in with SM outpost hey the jokes are back.
Hey Sergio! They are! -Jennifer

Always like watching when Richard cooks! Man those sandwiches looked so good. Love it when the kids come home and Jennifer’s jokes! Can I ask - did Patrick#2 move away or whatever became of him, he was such a sweetheart.
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoy my jokes. Patrick actually is going back to school, and isn't in the school system anymore. He works for a college. Thanks for following! -Jennifer

Great video… haven’t seen you use your smoker in a long time, mate? I loved what you did with the pig 🐷
He’s almost been too busy to eat, lol. That pork sure does taste good tho! -Jennifer
Always love the jokes.
She could’ve had her own sitcom right? It’s nice to have the jokes in the video. I like to never talked her into doing them
Question! Watching you change out the blade on your sawmill, we were wondering if you sharpen your blades yourself.
No mam, he has to buy them. We used to have somewhere close that was able to re-sharpen them, but they either closed down or don't do that anymore. Thanks for following! -Jennifer
The original farmers daughter.
Yessir! I love that comment! -Jennifer
Snappin- here… as usual great video.. question.. do you have an episode where you got second dog? If so, could you repost? Thanks

Would you do a video on how to remove rust and restore a cast iron skillet? I have one that is heavily rusted from lack of use.
I have never done that before, lol
Good morning sir, just a quick question. Up at the outdoor kitchen when was you going to put in that outdoor oven or did you change your mind on doing that. Just wondering. As always I enjoyed watching Richard.
I am sure dad will at some point. He has just had other pressing ideas on his brain. Thanks for being such a loyal follower, Richard! We appreciate you. - Jennifer
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Richard 👏🏻👋👍🤗🙂🙋♂️🇩🇪
Thanks!
Richard, how does the time change affect your day? I’m still not used to it😂
It makes the work day a lot shorter for sure. To say it is "pressing" to get work done in the winter. Thanks for following! -Jennifer
Curious as to why you don’t use a leaf blower to remove all the saw dust from your cut boards instead of sweeping the saw dust off? A leaf blower does a more thorough job.
It does a good job for sure. But the blade on the mill has water running on it all the time and the dust is wet. Makes it hard to get off. I find the broom does the best.
@@SmokyMountainOutpost I understand. The broom makes perfect sence. Thanks for educating me.
It makes the dust stick. If I wait and let it dry, then I have to scrape it off
@@SmokyMountainOutpost wow. Sure is a lot of work milling your own lumber. You make it look easy.
Lol, it’s not as bad as you might think.
👍
Good morning Richard sorry for your loss sir god bless youand your family...
Thank you so much for that comment we really appreciate it. We’re glad you like what we’re doing here and look forward to the comments. Have a great week
Wonder what sweeping the boards off does. Does it help them dry?😮
It gets the sawdust off of them. It won’t come off by itself so I have to dust it off
👍🏴
Thanks!
Do you sharpen and set your sawmill blades?
No. He actually has to buy them. We used to have somewhere around here that would actually re-sharpen them for him, but they either closed down or don't do that anymore. Thanks for following! -Jennifer
You know you are a hillbilly when you have a gas powered water pump in your living room! HA HA HA!!
LOL. Gotta keep it out of the weather. Hope you are doing well, Ted! -Jennifer
And SINGLE ! LOL
sorry for your family's loss
Thank you that’s very kind of you and we appreciate it. Hope you enjoy the other videos and we always look forward to the comments. Hope you have a great weekend
great video, what brand and model was your battery powered nailer? Thanks
Milwaukee 30 degree framing nailer
Fantastic, thank you! @@SmokyMountainOutpost
🇳🇴👍👍👌🥇
Do you use the saw dust for bedding?
He does, but it has to be seasoned or old enough it won't rob the ground of nitrogen. Good for mulch! Thanks! -Jennifer
@@SmokyMountainOutpost Saw dust can be used for animal bedding, absorb "you know what", and after that used for gardening. Common use with cows. Must be stored, preferably dry, unit is is mature and colour going for black.
Hi, this is Franz from Austria,
what are you currently building?
We are building a Timber Frame Workshop. You can find the beginning on the playlist under “Timber Frame Barn.”
Hi, this is Franz from Austria,
I have two questions: what is your name and who is the pretty, young lady at your side?
Richard and daughter Jennifer.
Richard, you’re working by yourself balancing on beams, please be careful!
Yeah. Reminds me of the old days hanging on a pole somewhere in the boondocks off hooks or my ladder. Feel at home, lol
HELLO ;Pourquoi VOUS FAÎTES UN OU DEUX CABANES POUR LOUER AIRBNB🏨☺👍
