yeah my dad was a maintenance man at an apartment until I was 11 and he only paid cable and phone so we had HBO when it first started and Showtime so I watched a lot of Fraggle Rock on HBO lol
Heh, because I lived close to Canada, I could've watched Fraggle Rock for free since it was being aired simultaneously on the CBC too. That never came to my mind back then though, but it's funny thinking back about it.
I remember when HBO had the blue rolling program guide before they used to go on the air back in the 70's before they went 24hrs. They played really cool music when they ran that in the background. I wish I knew what the name of some of the songs were...
2:45 Night on the English moors. A full moon is on the horizon. Two Americans are about to enter the world of the undead! An American Werewolf in London. Now its YOUR turn to howl AWOOOOOOOOO
Would you happen to have a recording of HBO's What on Earth? which aired around 1981-82? I'm not interested in fully episodes, just the animated intro and the part where Orson Bean introduces himself. Maybe you can post that to UA-cam or I can give my email address to send it? Please let me know.
Horrid. These are 4:3 and unnaturally stretched to 16x9, not formatted, stretched, which is as terrible as pan and scan. It's retro, let them be as they were.
I built HBO from promotion and didn't even know I'm bigger than Ted turner I literally built tv networks in my sleep just off promotion then yous let my mom scarifice me omfg
