Also, personal hygiene is important. So if you want to make friends washing your body with soap and water and putting on some clean clothes before you go up to them is highly recommended.
thank you, thank you, thank you! when i hiked the AT so many years ago, i just couldn't "embrace the stank". even as an 'ultralight' i kept clean. i volunteer with many unhoused communities and trying to explain that putting stinky clothes on after washing yourself: 'still smells bad', is an uphill battle. many people can't "smell themselves". in a camping situation, many people also seem to use "stank" as some kind of "badge" or "proof" that they are REAL. Ancient peoples cleaned themselves, Neanderthal's cleaned themselves, MONKEYS groom themselves! come on people, ditch the stank......
Hope you make it out here. I missed it too. I arrived yesterday Friday. Got a spot but worried about having to find another spot after I leave each day for RTR.
@@kimberlyevans7853 hope you made it out before the storm hit. I am in Madison IN area staying w a friend but a vanlifer when not frozen. Looking for like minded in the area. Enjoy AZ!
This is a great message put across through a mock interview. It was not only informative, but entertaining and very cute to watch! Made me chuckle a couple times. Bubba is certainly not as wise as his brother, Bob! 🤭
Really appreciated you guys putting out this video. I don't know how many camp sites I've been to where people have just gone to the bathroom on the ground and left it with toilet paper. It's really disgusting. I hope everybody who is a nomad or just camping. Watches this video because it's really needed. And that's not all. They also instead of taking their trash out with them. They throw it in the firepit. This needs to stop. We're going to lose our count sites.
LOL... I have met people who ARE exactly like this! I was mocked for saying I "just want the peace and quiet", and they increased their bad behavior. They also drove away with dump tanks Open!!! Thanks for this one, guys!
I met that guy at the beach. He was shrieking over and over. When I told him to be quiet he called me a Karen. The beach is for peace and quiet. He was a jetk.
These are all good points. One I would add is "no unattended fires" or "put your fires out properly". Once I was camping next to someone, and they built a huge fire in their fire ring, and then just left for dinner for a couple of hours. Then he followed it up by running his generator all night like mentioned in this video. The next morning I wasn't particularly friendly to that person.
That's a great point. One night a neighboring camper just drove off at 2am and left a raging bonfire going. So at 2am I have to crawl out of bed and go into the cold to put it out. I didn't have enough water to put the fire completely out. So after pouring 12 of my 16 ounce bottles of water on it I ran back to my vehicle and got my shovel and then started transporting dirt from an area soft enough to dig and just dumping dirt on it until it was extinguished.
Hey wait, I've camped beside this guy - he and his buddy came in late to the campground at Teton NP, spent an hour getting parked with this rig that was too big for the site; and then ran the generator until 11PM, I called the ranger and the ranger gave them a visit.
I'm not authorized to give an Oscar, but for this, I award you two an Oskar which recognizes meritorious effort. Love Bob, and yet have to recognize Bubba's advanced fashion sense. Yet Bubba needs to learn to have a friend, you have to be a friend.
Ive always taught my dogs to only bark when needed. ! It was easy. My pomeranian thot he was a chihuhua, i taught him quickly he is not lol i used a broom popped him said no !! I didnt hurt him he just didnt like the broom but it worked👍
Great video! Lookin forward to meet you at the RTR! Of one comment for next time, you might want to mention, even as an upload addition, the waste elimination is there can be disease that can not only affect other humans in it, but also Buddba's dear dog! Hugs and thank you! CJ Anderson
One very important thing you should never do in life is, don't take on the hate of someone else. It gives you a mental tumor. This has been a problem in this community. The real problem is the butt hurt malignant narcissist spreading lies only for revenge. Talk to the person the rumor is being spread about and learn a thing or two.
Bubba is ACTUALLY RELATED TO ME!! Or I to HIM; because I’ve my share of camping etiquette mistakes when: arriving to set up camp after dark, running out of something, not knowing my gear, on and on. But my generation learned all these basics camping with the YMCA, or backpacking classes taught after school; you know “Take only pictures, leave only footprints”. How do we teach love and respect for the land to our children?
Well done, both of you! Not sure if there is some type of "universal sign", flag, ribbon, etc that means "Not now, I'm busy" or one that means "you're welcome to approach" but that would be great for those times one may be napping in the middle of the day, using the bathroom, feeling ill, working, etc.
Loved this! I've met plenty of loud, partying Bubbas at campgrounds. 🙄 The college aged kids are the worst!! Brian has the patience of an elementary school teacher! Keep up the great work guys! 😁
Loved the “Brian & Bob’s Better Brother, Bubba Show!!” 😂 You guys were great! AND, you covered some really important topics for camping etiquette. Treating others like you want to be treated is the Golden Rule, and all of the others connect to that in some way or another. So, when are we going to see the episode when Brian helps Bubba drain his tanks? 😂🤪🤣 Great job, guys!! ❤
Great video, just sad that it’s needed! Thank you for being so kind to me at the meet and great today! I’m the girl who started crying, just a little overwhelmed! Thank you, thank you, you saved my life. Staci number two 😂❤
This is excellent! I enjoyed the entertainment, humor, and education! I will miss seeing you all at the RTR this year, but I do plan on attending again next year!
"Bubba!!!" Everyone love you when you let things slide and smile. But the moment you start setting boundaries and uphold social standards you become the difficult one.
Great video. Great job playing along Brian. You had all the right answers while holding back the laughter. 🤣I hope all the Bubbas are watching and learning. Good job Bob and Brian. ✌🏻🇺🇸
I tell people to treat people the way they, "the person I am talking to", want to be treated. There are some people that will always be problematic and it is perfectly fine to put some distance between yourself and the problematic person or persons. It's called self preservation.
And ... Scene! Then the crowd goes wild. Standing ovation! 3 curtain calls later, Bubba reveals to everyone that in actuality, he's been Bob the whole time! 🎭 Broadway, here they come!
Really enjoyed this. I have to laugh because today is so windy and there has been a few items that have blown past my minivan. I'm sure they tried to catch these things but the wind was so strong.
Bubba WAS doing what he wanted others to do. And thats the problem. Do what others want you to do. Be quiet. Be clean. Stay away from their site. Be safe to others.
Just hard to believe that you need to show people how to behave towards others, but you did it as a great reminder. We've all had to endure those people who are just out to enjoy themselves regardless of others. You could have even made them sound a lot worse!
Thank you for this video. One thing I definitely would have added is know the regulations in the area you are camping. Especially what the fire, shooting, and fireworks regulations are...and follow them. BLM land has a lot of regulations that are not followed and it makes it unpleasant and often unsafe for others when people are not aware and/or refuse to follow these. Educate yourself, educate others and be respectful 🫡
Also, personal hygiene is important. So if you want to make friends washing your body with soap and water and putting on some clean clothes before you go up to them is highly recommended.

PBS had a show where they basically admitted neanderthals were just ugly humans
Stuck in South Indiana. I've missed the wrtr hope I can head out tomorrow before the next snow frount moves in.
Hope you make it out here. I missed it too. I arrived yesterday Friday. Got a spot but worried about having to find another spot after I leave each day for RTR.

Brian is so funny and clever at answering those questions in a 'kind' way 🤣
I've packed up and left in the middle of the night many times because of rowdy, loud, drunk partying neighbors. thanks for making this video
I understand. To put it into perspective, about exactly how many times have you actually had to move in the middle of the night?
And tell Bobs brother to drive slowly in Campsites to keep the dust down. 😊
Did we know our Bob was a comic? little, tiny jokes through the years i have loved BUT this whole skit was EVERYTHING! ❤❤❤
This is a great message put across through a mock interview. It was not only informative, but entertaining and very cute to watch! Made me chuckle a couple times. Bubba is certainly not as wise as his brother, Bob! 🤭
Brian, you were so kind!! Good example for us when we run into all the Bubba’s of the world!! Thanks, Bob!!
Yep, we've all met Bubba! Good to see him willing to change his ways. Most others like him will never do that!😂🙃
😂🤣😂
Loved your humorous skit. Points well taken.
Really appreciated you guys putting out this video. I don't know how many camp sites I've been to where people have just gone to the bathroom on the ground and left it with toilet paper. Thank you Bubba for taking one for the team 😂 Hope the message gets to the right people
I have seen most of these incidents actually play out. But never all in the same person. Good skit, folks!
These are all good points. One I would add is "no unattended fires" or "put your fires out properly". A very good way to put these important messages out there, with a bit of humor. Good job Bob and Brian. 😃👍
Great video. "Bubba" isn't cut out to be a nomad!
Bubba was open to learning. I'm kind of doubtful that the people who do these things care that they offend others.
Hey wait, I've camped beside this guy - he and his buddy came in late to the campground at Teton NP, spent an hour getting parked with this rig that was too big for the site; and then ran the generator until 11PM, I called the ranger and the ranger gave them a visit.
The worst is when a great big giant bus sized RV pulls up with loud generators and ATV’s, coming way too close to you and takes over the entire space.
I'm not authorized to give an Oscar, but for this, I award you two an Oskar which recognizes meritorious effort. Love Bob, and yet have to recognize Bubba's advanced fashion sense. Yet Bubba needs to learn to have a friend, you have to be a friend.
That was great! Bottom line, be kind and respectful to everyone. Really enjoyed this video.
That was a great skit fellas! Good content and well presented!
"Bubba!!!" I've met you! Dozens of times! 😂
😂😂😂 I'm that guy all by himself, don't knock on my windows Bubba 😂😂
Barking dogs and loud music are quite common in campgrounds...
Ive always taught my dogs to only bark when needed. ! It was easy. My pomeranian thot he was a chihuhua, i taught him quickly he is not lol i used a broom popped him said no !! I didnt hurt him he just didnt like the broom but it worked👍
What an awesome video, with a great message

Many Thanks 🙏 for the chuckles, Nature is Our playground and Respects for One Another 🐪🌵🙏
You two! So much sense spoken here and good advice shared, but lots of fun to watch too. ☺️

A good subject to discuss. Thanks

But my generation learned all these basics camping with the YMCA, or backpacking classes taught after school; you know “Take only pictures, leave only footprints”. Now we know why people say "common sense is not so common "
Great video!!
Bubba your my favorite person now…. Lmao… hilarious….. 😂😂😂. Can’t stop laughing…. Wanna see more bubba….
Thank you for this video!! Bubba gone do better-I can tell.

Upside down pineapple. Best way to make new friends.
There is, it’s called “do not disturb” make one and put it up
I put a CAUTION flag at my site. No explanations. No one’s ever bothered me.

😂😂😂😂 Excellent Video about VanLife 🚐💨🤘🏼 Camping Life
Loved this! I've met plenty of loud, partying Bubbas at campgrounds. 🙄 The college aged kids are the worst!! Brian has the patience of an elementary school teacher! Keep up the great work guys! 😁
Something tells me Bubba has never had too many friends.
Bubba blast motorhead 😂
WHAT A GREAT FIRESI:DE SKIT FOR CAMPING!! This should be a required lesson to watch prior to going camping.
Bubba is hilarious 😂😂
It's Bubba's Forrest Gump accent I loved the best 😂😂
Hope we see more of Bubba. 😊😊
I am always entertained and sometimes I actually learn something 🎉.Thanks.

hahhahaha... so funny! sarcasm level 12... but it's a good way to get your points across through humor.
Etiquette is a foreign concept to some people.
Great video, just sad that it’s needed!
Thank you for being so kind to me at the meet and great today! I’m the girl who started crying, just a little overwhelmed! Thank you, thank you, you saved my life.
Staci number two 😂❤
Hilarious! Thanks 😂
This was an excellent segment! Thank you so much. Also it was a great laugh because of its truth.
Thank you for protecting campgrounds everywhere!
Thank you for this entertaining video! Loved it Bob and Brian!
This is excellent! I enjoyed the entertainment, humor, and education! I will miss seeing you all at the RTR this year, but I do plan on attending again next year!
Very tactfully done! Love it!
Both hilarious and informative on being a good human thanks guys 😊
Great job. Clear set up of points.
OMG this video is soooo FUNNY 🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰
Son of a biscuit! Can’t believe that’s my good Ole friend Bubba. This is your friend “Short Fuse” from Florida. Y’all take care..!
"Bubba!!!" Everyone love you when you let things slide and smile.
But the moment you start setting boundaries and uphold
social standards you become the difficult one.
What a fun way to cover a touchy subject. Thank you both!
A great way to approach these topics. I listened and laughed. Good advice.
Excellent role playing!!!!
Excellent examples of etiquette . Well done!!!
Thank you for sharing.
Love Bubba's hat. Where would one get one?
Wonderful video Team!! Thank you for the smiles! 🤗 🤗
This was a great way to teach the basics! Thanks team! ❤
😂🤣😂 Don't be like Bubba, be like BOB!
Excellent & hilarious guys - you covered it all so well! 👏👏👏 😂
Great video. Great job playing along Brian. You had all the right answers while holding back the laughter. 🤣I hope all the Bubbas are watching and learning. Good job Bob and Brian. ✌🏻🇺🇸
Hilarious! 😄 Most of this is just common sense, but I appreciate the chuckle. 😁
We have a new Abbott and Costello 😂 Fun Video
Funny! And very good tips!
“We all have our definition of perfect…”😂
When Bubba-Bob said, “Well, yeah…!” I lost it! 😂😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Howdy Bubba!
Spectacular.
Groove on!
Very interesting and educacional video, thanks Bob and Brian
Oh my goodness, what a hilarious way to put out some great information!
So true! I love the humorous take on some real-life problems. Hopefully, some people will learn from this 😂

Generators are noisy but those chines heaters are also. A neighbor ran his all night once, I had to move the next day.
Good to know. Noone mentions the noise
Yeah I haven't bought one yet for that reason, I really want a better muffler if I get one.
Bob's alter ego! 😅

Great subject matter, definitely different. Great Video Thank Y'all for posting.🙏👍🐕🦺🇺🇲
Good job. I hope the message gets out there.....Blessings, Teri Hope and Maddie
Beware the Bubbas in every situation. He seems like he'd be a real mooch too!
Don’t be a “Bubba”
Video should be titled: Camping Common Sense 101 - The least common of the senses
The least used of all the senses. 🤭
such a good fun way to teach!
Enjoyed getting to know Bubba 😊
This video was hilarious 😂
