Great information Steve
Hey Steve, that's good look on you! Keep it. Onto B-Ball, Lathon, Wilkins, Monsanto, Kasparas (? I don't see it)
Appreciate your insights on starting line ups - but what do coaches look for in building the ‘scout team’ and selecting walk on players. Talk a bit about that process and value.
A lot of times the walk ons are guys who attend open tryouts. I think coaches look for best talent in that pool
Guedos is across from Hyatt place. Sorry i was late and couldn't see it live. Great show today.
Thanks for the heads up
5* Maleek Thomas visiting Illinois soon. Orlando doing work already🔶🔷
Great show Bardo!
Javon Small. Rumors have swirled that he might leave and a WVU article just came out states that there's a likely chance he'll be leaving.
Keep an eye on him. We're in on him but so is Kansas...
Thanks for this! Definitely keep an eye out for him
Bro he just signed with WVU.
@@ANONYMOUSE247golly. Literally moments within me writing this WVU announced he’s “officially signed”. “Officially signed” - guess that means this went nowhere…Oh well…
@@FlyIlliniFly There was never buzz about this outside of maybe Indy saying it.
@@ANONYMOUSE247That’s not true. There was a decent amount of speculation among WVU circles as well. The initial thought was Kansas, Kansas, Kansas but we were in on it too. Guess he’s settled on WVU now that he’s officially signed…
The " who plays more minutes" angle is under thought, tbh. It will and always is about performance, playing time and impact both on a personal level, but also how the team performs. Teams that have great freshman but on teams who don't perform will not produce freshmen of the year.
Did Iowa make the NCAA? How about Indiana? Not saying they were bad seasons but both teams wanted more. Your "teams who don't perform will not produce freshman of the year" is flawed. Owen Freeman (Iowa) & Mackenzie Mgbako (Indiana) co-Freshmen of the Year and neither played in the NCAA tournament.
