Absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing this! The video is so well done with such a beautiful blend of images, sound and words! Looking forward to more! Good luck!
Thanks so much for the comments. I try and keep my shutter speed at 1/50 and use an aperture and ISO to get a good exposure on the scene. If the exposure gets too bright, I either use a variable ND filter to keep my shutter speed at 1/50, or I just increase the shutter speed.
Great video, stunning footage. Really looks like you had some beautiful sightings and shots on this trip! I'm very envious, my own got cut short but this video really brings this summer's incredible rainfall to life.
Thanks so much for the subscription. I try keep my videos concise, I value the time of my viewers and don’t want to drag things on too much. I appreciate the comment a lot! 😊
Fantastic video. You have put a lot of thought in shooting the sequences and it shows. The wide angles, the close up shots and the "normal" footage all blend together beautifully. The music is appropriate and soothing. Loved it.
Yet people still think its about the gear ! 😅 The Video is outstanding and i hope other wildlife enthusiast like me will comment , like and subscribe. Looking forward to seeing your next videos .
Thanks so much for the comment. That means a lot. The gear for me is not very important. I mean, you can’t make anything without gear but I’m happy with middle grade equipment. It’s how you use it that counts. Thanks for the subscribe 😊🙏🏻
Wonderful video and photography. I would love to spend some time there. I am used to traveling rivers (in the far north), where there are few dangers and camping in tents nightly is safe and glorious. I can see with the crocks - safety is a major issue in this country.
Thanks a lot Robert. Kruger has safe campsites to camp in, surrounded by a fence so safety is not an issue. There are many dangerous animals, but you’re safe inside the camps.
@@MarkDumbleton In the north we travel wild remote rivers by canoe. We carry our camping gear and food and we camp along the river where ever we wish. There are no designated camp sites. Yes there are some safety issues - bears mostly. But, the risk are low and manageable. Often we travel for weeks in this fashion making a new camp each day. In Kruger is it safe to travel by canoe or sea kayak in this fashion each day and sleep in the protected camps each night?
Fantastic watch Mark, thank you for sharing the journey. Great spot on that leopard. The bush during the rainy season is an incredibly refreshing & peaceful experience, taking full advantage of the unpopular time to go. Off to Mana in April 🙏
Amazing footage mate... love the way you frame... you have a good eye for composition! excellent! Shot all footage with the Nikon mirrorless? stunning ! 👏
Gracious South Africa, beautifully captured by Mark!

You have to travel by vehicle in the Kruger, you’re not allowed to leave your vehicle unless you’re in a camp site.
Epic footage! Well done!
Thanks so much! Appreciate that a lot!

Hi Mark
What Nikon Z setup do you have and use?
Hi, I use a Nikon Z6 with a FTZ adaptor on a 200-500. I also use a 24-200 Z lens and 14-30 f4 Z lens.
