- In this video I spent 100 days in PS1 Minecraft also known as the Minecraft PSX Mod. This is my first Minecraft 100 Days Vid so I hope I did at least a decent job for u guys.

in some parts this mod is trying too much to be scary, like in those jpgs of bloody herobrine. there are parts when this mod is a liminal bangers and there are those cheap jpg jumpscares, but still i like this mod

The best way to get rid of those whispers is sleeping, eating food and being around friends or villagers increases it in pretty sure. Killing animals lowers your sanity by ALOT and being in the dark also lowers your sanity, rain lowers sanity, being in water lowers sanity and being around hostile mobs lowers it too, and haveing a tamed animal die lowers your sanity to 0 instantly. (there are more things that lower it than increase it). And all the entities are kill able thought they have 500 health no joke

The mod is an interesting concept but it lacks subtlety. The uncanniness of the PS1 style graphics and the occasional weird sound or faroff Herobrine sighting or odd structure gives it a nice creepy feel, but then it starts shoving him in your face and blaring spooky ambience while spawning invincible ghosts on top of you and it just kinda devolves into another generic "I INSTALLED ALL 50 SCARY DWELLERS, CAN I SURVIVE?!" experience.
Thing that killed it for me was all the modern features, I’m pretty sure it’s really easy to get old versions of Minecraft or just remove new things but yeah, it doesn’t feel like a true ps1 experience when the warden is killing you.
Reminder that this is a modpack, not one single mod. The invisible ghosts are part of a mod called ''Insanity Mod'' (which has its own complexity), and of course, the Herobrine mod (one of the multiples out there).
10:15 the movement creeped you out because the movement it made was very player-like, like a sentient player would make, but an AI creature would have a hard time making.

The pyramids were said to be left by Herobrine. The random staircases are from some myth in real life, something about that you shouldn't go up random staircases in forests

Its not a glitch its a test to test Building generation in the alpha version and its RARE and there Is even a giant obsidian line somewhere
not a test either, im pretty sure it was made so that players could get pyramids in that version since there was no other way to get them

It’s only present in the first ever version of infdev and is not procedurally generated and many appear in the same coords.
The obsidian lines are kinda like a basic compass.

I believe the random pairs of eyes/shadows you kept seeing and dying to were a re-skinned sanity mod entity, but you don't have the sanity bar.
One of them was also a re-skin of the Midnight lurker. Mostly the one that made the stomping sounds

This feels wrong _without_ the creepypasta stuff. It has the look and feel of pre-release yet it has all the features of at least release Minecraft.
Also at 19:14 the phrase is just a quote from what I believe is Lovecraft's mythos, referring to Cthulhu (a powerful being who wreaked havoc somewhere) being dead.
According to the lead developer of minecraft PSX, The dragon is unable to be damaged due to an optifine bug, and the game is supposed to be beatable, which he says he's going try patching as of 4 months ago, i have no idea still if its been patched yet or not, but definitely do be on the lookout for updates on the mod.
Official statement from xKazIsKoolx in a comments section of a full playthrough video: "Haven't watched the video yet, but I got a good idea of how it's gonna end. Yeah...sorry about that lol. Right now, the dragon is basically immune to melee because of a dumbass optifine bug. It'll be fixed in the next update. There's another bug with optifine which makes it so the dragon doesn't turn red when you hit it. I hate optifine. The goal is to completely replace it with a selection of alternative mods. Hopefully that'll be done by 2.0, as that will be the final update to this modpack. Thank you all for playing this stupid pack of mine, the support means a lot to me."

The sanity mod is the reason why the mobs go black and the entity's with white eyes appear there's a way to make them go away but you can't see the Hud due to mod compatibility issues so I reccomend you delete it in the pack @Gabe
The whispers and those invisible entities are a part of the mod I suppose integrated and tweaked in this modpack called "Sanity: Descent Into Madness"
1:28 There was an old story that Herobrine would go around your world digging 2x2 tunnels in it. Someone actually has a world in the actual Minecraft Beta that has a 2x2 tunnel.
The fact there are people who don't know what Cthulu is in any capacity is the most suprising part of this whole video by far

It's funny how you still tried to make avery cool house in a place like this. That was annoying with Ender Dragon being unkillable. Also I think you're the only person who went all the way to the end on this mod.
the new things in the end are from two mods, an enderdragon fight overhaul and a end overhaul

The way I was holding my breath when he was in the nether and the invisible entity was coming after him and I thought he’d be knocked out the portal before he was able to teleport back to the over-world. The relief that I felt was diabolical 😭

Looks like this mod takes inspiration from SANITY: DESCEND INTO MADNESS - A minecraft mod that adds "sanity", decreasing when killing animals, taking damage, being near to hostile mobs. Once low enough - you hear whispers, weird entities appear, animals become scared of you etc

1:13 , this could be a reference to old minecraft snapshots, some old snapshots had tall pyramids made from brick its quite different to this mods rendition but thats all i could think up (EDIT, 18:10 HAS THE BRICK PYRAMID). 1:25 , i believe in the og herobrine post had something about finding tunnels even though the person in the game not making the tunnels. 4:55 , this reminds me of old 2011 minecraft videos with those cheap scares, they could be emulating them? NON TIMESTAMPED REFERENCES: the blue fog is probably a reference to either: the ps1s bad rendering quality, or the og screenshot. since this mod is for new snapshots, it has new textures (only on new blocks, items and mobs). but most textures and references are to old snapshots

the little random small pyramids were apart of the myth I think but the huge brick one he finds was a real structure in Minecraft that was briefly in the game in the past so the devs could test structure generation.
