Shave of the day, Rex Konsul XL , Wilkinson Sword “classic “ blade , Proraso Pre Shave, TOBS shaving cream “shaving shop”, TOBS traditional super badger brush, & Floris Number 89 aftershave.
Great shave Paul, Barrister and mann Reserve spice is closest to The shulton old spice than any of the other artisan soaps, MSC Vintage Spice to my olfactory senses does not smell like old spice it comes over like Imperial Leather but other wet shavers will get a different experience to mine, although Barrister and mann Reserve spice is bang on the Splash is not to my nose take care and have a great week ahead 😀👍
Regular shave of the day for me (R41, Feather (4), D.R.Harris Windsor, BadLand Tropical Islands brush with synthetic knot, and Terre D'Hermes cologne.
Meal of the day is a favourite of my daughter's; haggis, chips and lashentos of gravy!

Great shave off Paul💈💈 and review of B&M Spice soap. I use Sterling Soap Co. Spice which is as close to original Shulton as I have experienced, may have to give B&M a go as well. Beautiful holiday themed arrangement from Mrs H today, just gorgeous, thanks. The Futur/Feather combo did the job admirably with no issues, good job. SOTD: Sterling "Evergreen" soap/splash/EDT, PAA "Meta-4" razor w/Gillette Swede Platinum blade and "Green Ray" synth brush, alum, witch hazel and Nivea balm to end...Glorious. Great video, thanks. Enjoy the start of the new week.

I've been looking at that soap for a long time but I wanted to see your review before I bought my own 😊. So it will be on my Christmas list.
My SOTD... Rockwell 6C with a Gillette 7 O Clock 1st use. MacDuff Santa's Works Shop soap and aftershave. Brush is your new brush with my Thirsty Badger lather bowl.

Great shave Paul but you should keep the goatee , it suits you very well!!
There are few razors suited for full goatee removal. The Merkur Futur is one of them.
I get nicks and cuts with the Merkur Future even without a blade in it!
I don't have the B&M Spice soap yet. I do have the PAA version and I can't hardly smell any spice. The Master Soap, has quite a nice scent.
Great shave mate, I had my shave yesterday with the Merkur progress 510, really good shave with Mitchells Wool fat. Hope you enjoy your hotel meal

Got rid of my 'Movember' goatee this morning: Henson AL-13 medium with Perma Sharp blade, ToBS Shaving Shop cream, & Sterling 3-band synthetic brush. Was quite surprised how easily the Henson coped in 3 passes. Absolutely no need for an aggressive razor/blade combo! My wife hasn't noticed, yet!! And I agree with you, Paul, it is really nice to get back to a full face shave.

Welcome back to the real world of full-face shaving. There's no better way to start the day than a clean shave. My SOTD: Viking Revolution Sandalwood Shaving cream, Simpson T2 brush, Rockwell 6S/R4 w/ Personna Lab Blue 2nd use, alum, Dickinson's witch hazel, Dove Men+Care Ultra Hydra Cream, and Stetson Cool Moisture Aftershave. MOTD: BBQ ribs, sweet potatoes, and cole slaw. Of course, I'd be remiss not to compliment Mrs. H for another impressive Sunday floral display. This soap is the second best old spice dupe. The best one is stirling. Both perform great as well!

Lovely flowers Mrs H as always. And an exceptional shave. Ive always liked the look of that razor. And the soap was incredible. So many companies are getting their take on old spice. With good reason, its a great scent. I also shaved my goatee off by yesterday. I used my Utopia shavette and marberry man soap. Bbs shave feel. And finished with the mayberry man after shave splash and nivea balm. My motd was buffalo chicken tacos with tortilla chips and a spicy salsa. Have a great week
My wife literally just surprised me with an early Christmas gift of the B&M Spice soap. I also have Cold Spices from PAA and Stirling Spice. But this soap is my favorite Old Spice tribute thus far. Thanks for the video, good stuff.
The B&M reserve soaps are my favorite. (Spice Waves Cool Fern Lavender). They all smell vintage old school.
The soap base got changed a couple of years back so I stocked up on the original, which includes the Classic scent. It's no longer available. 🙁
Demolition, the futur in setting 3 destroyed your 1 months goatee!!! B&M is a very good soap I don't have the spice but another 3 Cheshire, waves and Oceana all 3 amazing!!! For me so far Stirling spice is the perfect dupe of shoulton old spice.

Hey Paul! I just received my package of NOS Old Spice cologne and aftershave! Man does it smell delicious, 😅😅!! I have several bottles now. There is a small one that I actually use occasionally for special shaves. I'll wait till the weekend before Christmas before using it and the original soap. Nothing beats that paring for sure!! That Barrister and Mann is darn close to the original though! My shave of the day will be a vintage Gillette Tech, with Gillette Permasharp blade (3rd use), Method Man shave balm, Pinaud Clubman aftershave, and a generic moisturizer to finish it off. Good morning Paul ! Today we went with the Gillette Fatboy 1959 with a brand new feather as well. Very nice shave but also on the aggressive end of the spectrum. I also used the Master soap creations Vintage Spices old spice variant. So far that has been my personal favorite and definitely comes extremely close to Shulton for me. Hey Paul, care to let any of your palm olive shave sticks go? I really want to try one. 🙏❤️

I have not tried B&M spice, I'm hoping to try it soon as it sounds like a great one.
I have enjoyed Cold spice from PAA and I am tempted to try the seasonal soap called Melange by Barrister and Mann, it is themed after the Books/Movies Dune by Frank Herbert. From my understanding it's spicy but different from the others.
My shave of the day was with the Edwin Jagger 3one6, Gillette Nacet, Razorock the dead sea for soap chased by its matching aftershave. It's a beautiful combination of Rosemary / citrus / sandalwood notes. It takes you to a mediterranean mind palace, very relaxing.
