Videos of the crowd never do Download justice. 2013 was one of the hottest years I’ve been to download and my God it was roasting! Plus the video is more focussed on the sound board so you can hear the music over the crowd! It was insane!
It might show in the video, but the crowd was mental, particularly during Korn's set - it was crazy. Me and everyone around me, and everyone I could see was going mental all the way through their set.

Biggest pisstake was everyone looks bored as shit but further back is where the true atmosphere is, it was fucking mental. Crowd was awesome further back and most people on the front look too hot or drunk or bored. That what makes this vid kinda bad.
Really? You must have been at a different festival to me, as I thought that the atmosphere was incredible - I can't comment on people in tents all weekend, but at the stages it was fine. If you missed Rammstein I feel really sorry for you, as they were one of the best sets of the weekend, easily one of the best crowds for it as well, was absolutely crazy.
tbh the general atmosphere at download this year was total bollocks, I went to see rammstein and ended up having to leave early due to my driver getting very very ill (turns out she had sun stroke so yeh...had we not left when we did we wouldn't have gotten home) as much as I wanted to see them I doubt as a first time doing so it would have been all that due to the atmosphere people were there for a festival not the music, loads of people just stayed at the tents which seems a massive waste
LMAO Jonathan was lip syncing,.... 1:59 when the mic is above his head it sounds like he is singing into it....again at 2:02 the mic is at his side and sounds like it is at mouth level and being sang into of course when the camera pans up you see his mouth is closed and the vocal tract is still playing LMAO good job Johnathan......
I remember this when it was live on TV. My dad and I would always watch live concerts.
