Praise the Lord everyone. I have a prayer request please pray for the one's that are having problem's in their marriages also pray for our youth also pray for families that have lost loves one's.
When you are refraining from social media it is called consecration. A fast is you denying your internal flesh of food and/or liquids. Consecration is denying your external flesh of desires such as social media, gossiping etc. This is not to chastise you or come for you. As Christian women we are to help and encourage each other. No one knows everything and there is a certain joy in learning.

Michelle Singletary book 21 Day Financial Fast, she mentions sabbath time. It can be whatever day is best for you. I do my sabbath time weekly every Saturday 5:30pm to Sunday 5:30pm. No social media, no household chores and no shopping. Been doing it for years now, and I consider it my weekly fast. So there is nothing wrong with however you choose to fast.
Thank you for sharing about the book. Financial discipline has really been on my mind lately. How can I be blessed or God trust me with more, when I don't do well with what I have now? Heck let's keep it real: Being wasteful with shopping, Uber, etc.
I just want to say that you’re an amazing teacher and you’re really touching the lives of the kids you work with Rianna! Your tutoring session brought tears to my eyes because it’s such a clear example of an educator that has a passion to educate and help people learn. I had a terrible math teacher when I was in school that made me feel small and dumb because I didn’t understand concepts right away. But watching you take your time and help your student realize and fix her mistake really touched me. I’m very jealous that I didn’t have a math teacher like you, but so glad that your students do!

I’m putting in a prayer request for myself. Idk what is happening in my life, but towards the end of 2023 I started losing my passion & desire for the word of God. I became very inconsistent with reading the bible and focusing. I started talking to God less & less, and I feel like it has followed me into 2024. I’ve been doing the corporate Daniel Fast because I felt like it was a great way to bring the year in and to bring some of that fire back into my life for Jesus and the word… but I’ve honestly been very poor at the fast. I’ve cheated the fast multiple times, and although I’ve stuck with doing the readings every day I still just feel so disconnected. I just need prayer and encouragement that I get myself back on track and finish strong. The fast for me ends on the 28th so I’m just praying that the rest of this last week turns around for me. Sorry for the long message 🥺

I’m a Muslim, even though I’m not a Christian I respect the faith and love watching your videos. Quick question why do you have to pray in the closet? Or why do you choose to? 🧕🏾👋🏾
It’s not a requirement to pray in the closet, you can pray anywhere. A lot of Christians have a “prayer closet” based on the Bible verse Matthew 6:6 that says ”But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.“
So it’s really just a thing of having a separate, dedicated room/closet/area where you can pray privately when you don’t want to be interrupted. Hope that helps

For the extra bedding you could put them in a pretty basket and keep them in the closet. I’m going through a hard season and ask for prayers.
At my high school, seniors were the worst. My AP English teacher said she hated seniors when I took her class junior year. Once I became a senior and took the regular English class, I totally understood why she said that. A large % of the students were A-holes. There were about 30 of us in that class.
