Visting With The Last Remaining Pandas In The US At Zoo Atlanta... & Some Other Animals | 4K

In this video, I get to see one of the animals I have most wanted to see for some time that I have never seen before. I visit Zoo Atlanta that is the last remaining zoo in the US to have any pandas after 11-08-23 and they are absolutely adorable.
Zoo Atlanta has been around since 1889 which is well over 100 years at this point, and they have had pandas since around the mid-90s. The current breeding pair (Lun Lun and Yang Yang) have been here since 1999 and have had seven cubs born over the years. The two youngest cubs were born in 2016 and are scheduled to go back to China in early 2024. The breeding pair will be following the cubs back later in the year 2024.
In addition to the pandas, we visit with some other animal friends in hopes of finding some babies that were born this year.
My trip was very short, and I had very limited time to see as much as I could (~2 hours) so I tried to maximize the time that I had although I spent at least an hour just watching the pandas (I mean that is the reason I came to this zoo in the first place). Nonetheless, I had a good quick sampling of the zoo and it just gives me a reason to visit again when I have some more time to look around more and maybe visit the pandas again before they leave.

I was fortunate to see Pandas back in 1985 in San Francisco - they were adorable. Glad you were able to see them before they left the US. I was able to touch a sloth in 2000 in Costa Rica - roughest and smelliest hair/fur ever - but the cutest face with that permanent smile. Really enjoy your videos, thank you.
