The spells are intentionally made to function how they do in Rogue Lineage. That's why Velo is near useless (In Rogue it's used to light up darker areas so you can see what you're doing) Snarvindur's wallslam also isn't really easy to find in IA, in Rogue it pushes you way further way faster and you're far more likely to hit a wall with it. Snarv still retains the ability to do a jump before casting in order to get the wallslam against the floor, which you should be doing. Additionally, Armis is missing it's core functionality of disarming weapons from people, which im very grateful they didn't replicate in IA. Also fyi, the backfire mechanic is a reference to the fact that when you cast a spell in Rogue at an incorrect mana percentage it'll backcast and effect you instead, unsure why ignis is the only one given this property though.

Something ill add on about hoppa: all though its not really practical alone you can make some sick ass combo and kinda funny to use practically allowing you to air drop on someone with an bomb or anything that blows up
Hoppa is also included in the almighty legendary kit “The Bron Jame” I sure love launching myself into the air twice, becoming a terraria player, and then pulling out a basketball, all to absolutely DEMOLISH that real knife user below me.

Mori is not oneshot, after summer update it deals 100% of max hp, the only thing that can save you is masamune (not sure about this) AND any defense, built different, lute (song of fortitude) or cross pendant as they give you some kind of defense/shield
yeah, i probably should've mentioned that in FFA or ZS, though, people don't typically have defense modifiers, and there's only 1 kit that gives scrolls in kit, the mode with lots of defense modifiers
If you want to use gelidus m1 just snap, go above your enemy, cancel snap and start casting while falling. It can be used to push enemies off the edges, stunlock them against the wall or just combo with other weapons because freeze lasts really long
I once finally used mori without accidentally hitting myself immediately and it was so weird to me that I hadn’t known about it until now like it was too good to be true for me that this item actually just one shotted everything but what felt even weirder was when I used snap and realised it’s that same orb but 5000 times like this thing felt like dragon deagle in a public server it’s mental that not only I didn’t know about it but it exists in the game and I have had it in my inventory before
one thing about snarvindur - if you jump and use the snap ability, it launches enemies into the ground and still triggers a slam hit. it’s one of the better spells if you know how to combo it well
Oh, that seems really useful, actually. I assume you would have to be really near them, though, and you might be better off using it normally on some maps, but that would be super op depending on your other items and if you can get close enough
You know ive found some great usage with snav since if you jump while using it you can easily get 90 damage on a player cuz it will wallslam them into the floor
Most people think inferni spawns lava or something, and when they get it they get confused because it is green particles and does no damage. EDIT: I got it in tc one time and got a 20 kill streak with a shrieker army.
I got mori once when I was helping somebody get slayer’s delight and when it was my turn to get killed I was winding up mori then I aimed it at the floor (I didn’t know what it was and it ended up killing everyone in the radius including the person I was helping)
I remember on tdm_chaotical, i got a scroll and got manus dei (or whatever i forgo), i eventually died but got another scroll, and i got another manus dei which literally got me so many kills
You're wrong about gelidius, its litteraly best spell in the game, cuz m1 its litteraly stun lock. M1 + snap its best combo out of all spells. UPD - Gelidius second best, mori its best.
I tried doing this, and maybe I'm just bad at it, but it doesn't seem very consistent, and if the enemy had a counter it doesn't work all the time / they can counterattack sometimes before the next freeze
I've gotten loggus twice, and mori twice as well. The first time I got mori, I killed myself because I didn't know how it worked. The second time, I got a ~20 killstreak, though I've also only seen someone else with mori twice and they didn't aim with it well and the other one died instantly
