Hello Watch Mojo! I love your videos! My cousin was actually one of the bayou stranglers victims and I would love to share his story! He was lured back on a construction job they worked together on the promise of getting some Weed. My cousin was the only “straight man” that was a victim the only one that wasn’t tied up (he tied and raped most of them) he was also one of the few victims to actually have dna under his nails. Just as a family member I would love for y’all to have the actual facts. 😊 I would hate for my cousins story to not be told at full truthful facts 😊 there’s plenty of documentary episodes out there with my family members on them telling the right story. RIP TNick Pellegrin 🙏🏽
Hey mojo for number one you used a picture of Fritz Haarmann, not Karl Denke
karla hamalka and Paul Bernardo
The scariest part about serial killers is that anyone, your neighbors, friends, even your loved ones could be one. You just never know how they are behind closed doors.
Exactly they could even be leaving a comment under this video
Yep. People think they look like creepy, dirty people. Some are. But a lot know how to mask and blend in.
@@ViVALaKiRAxx mask, blend in, function like a normal human being. A civilian even. Sheesh.
@@gravitysnegative1962 it's me
i to am a cereal killer. i kill a box a week
David Parker Ray is one of the scariest. The psychological torture, especially with the audio tape he'd play is literally sadistic. And Gérard Schaffer's books he wrote are insane. The story is much deeper than those 2 girls that escaped
Crazy how this came out 2 months ago and we now know the identity of the Long Island killer.
The photo you used for Karl Denke is a photo of Fritz Haarmann, the Butcher of Hannover.
I came into this hoping to hear something new. I’ve heard of almost all of these. That says a lot about my true crime sickness.
Nah, says a lot about them using inaccurate titles to get more views
I look forward to your superior channel. How exciting to learn from such an esteemed scholar!
I was just coming to the comments to say something similar. Lol.
BRILLIANTLY STATED. I said the same thing. I know about all these.
@@debbylou5729 sigh 🙄🙄🙄🙄
You know, in all their serial killer lists, I have only heard Dean Corll, aka The Candyman, mentioned like once. This guy was brutal, efficient and Gacy said this was the man who inspired him to kill and take such a high body count. He wanted to outdo his idol.
Gacy actually had the book the man with candy in his house
Yea and I'm from the same side of town in Houston he lived in and not a lot of people here even knows about him. There's still actually one of his victims on the missing children website if you go look under Houston.
@@jonathanlemon544 some of the older people would probably know about him but don't want talk about it. They either knew someone who lost their son or lost their son to him
Anyone who has never heard of Israel Keyes… watch or listen to a long documentary…. He was seriously one of the smartest and sickest SK out there. If he had remained cautious he’d likely still be killing today, one of the few that still gives me chills and nightmares.
He literally used one of his victims debit cards. He isn’t smart. I really don’t get why people say this.
@@bleachbum339 Hence the phrase “IF HE HAD REMAINED CAUTIOUS”
Lol, hate when people don’t read the WHOLE post. Have a good one.
@@bleachbum339 which is bizarre behavior considering everything he did prior. for whatever reason, he acted very out of character and without caution towards the end with the abduction/murder in anchorage and using the debit card. he was extremely methodical and planned out, even making it a point to travel to kill, with kill kits placed beforehand, so as not to do it close to home. it sounds like it's possible, with his own suicide, that 12 was his goal. 🤷♀
@@gregmeyer9595 I read the whole post. I still think he was a moron. I don’t get why everyone says he was so smart. Because he left kill kits in various spots? I’m just baffled by this statement.
@@bleachbum339 I think why I believe he was is because even when they caught him they had no idea he was a serial killer. ALL his other crimes were done so well that he wasn’t close to being on anyone’s radar. He committed quite a few murders, bank robberies, arsons, etc., is many different states, and was never questioned or looked at. Extremely methodical and I understand everyone has their own opinions, I’m 100% okay with that, but for his age and the amount of crimes, and the types of crimes, and he just seemed to do things right under people’s noses with no interest. If he had not taken a girl close to home and kept using her card, who knows how long he would have continued.
If they made it to MrBallen , then I definitely know them
Well, you can add a name to the Long Island serial killer.
Robert "Willie" Picton was/is notorious here in BC. He is hardly "unknown"
Not just in BC. All over Canada.
US too...Criminal Minds loosely based an episode (To Hell ... And Back", season 4, episode 25) on the Pickton case, so I'd say it isn't even remotely unknown, even here.
@@munkustrap2 I saw that episode. They had a warning prior to the show when it aired in Canada that it may be disturbing to some people due to "recent events"
It’s an American channel. They don’t realise there’s over 300 other countries in the world.
@@andrewleah1983 Actually, this is a Canadian channel. People in Canada assume no one outside of Canada has any idea about what happens in Canada.
I actually did a Court Case High school assignment based off Robert Pickton, I miss being younger.
Pickton is like
Beyond infamous here in Canada
Can you translate that to English? I don't understand Canadian. I love Rush and Gordon lightfoot though I just can't understand the lyrics.
The Long Island serial killer has supposedly been caught - but there is still no trial. His name is Rex Heuremann.
Panzram was fascinating and his journals that he snuck out were so compelling. The levels of abuse he experienced prior to his crimes are among the worst any killer has faced, and it makes his worldview and his actions more understandable, if no less detestable
I hope I don’t run into one of these men one day. Killers are one of the few things that actually scare me.
That's the Thing their so Well Digused for Example: You Bump into someone in a Store spark up a Conversation discover have similar Hobby's you wouldn't know this Indivdual could harm or hurt anyone until actually goes through with it,(Or until see for yourself) which Hope don't have to.
I request a video about South African serial killers such as Moses Sithole, Thabo Bester, Stewart 'Boetie Boer' Wilken, and Cecelia Steyn (A.K.A The Krugersdorp killings). I also have information about two horrific killers from the small town in S.A. that I'm from if anyone is interested.
I am
I grew up less then 5 km away from the Pickton farm in the 90's and 2k's. Crazy times.
The ransom photo Keyes took is so ghoulish. That poor girl
You will notice that typically the mo for a man will be physical violence, firearm, knife, strangulation, blunt object but when it comes to women they typically go for poisons. Although there are some exceptions like Aileen Wuornos who's the last victim was the father of a friend of my in-laws at that time
Samuel Little remembered everyone one of his victims; where it happened and even drew them from memory.
There's a sense of justice watching this now, knowing the gilgo beach killer has been identified
I live in Vancouver and am very familiar with the Pickton case and the actual truth about what went on there is much much darker and involved many other higher ups who had bloody hands themselves. There's a UA-cam video that has Pickton and a police decoy in a prison cell having a conversation about what he's done, and Pickton clearly talks about others involved, thought they were friends, and if he goes down,so do 15 others.
Criminal Minds loosely based an episode on the Pickton case so I was surprised that Mojo thought no one would've heard of these guys.
I’m from Ontario and I know about him too. I know people all over the states that know him.
His brother's involvement was never really dealt with. VPD dropped the ball big time. Funny thing, yesterday I was talking with a neighbour who is RCMP K9, and he said the same.
Lots of police and politicians would go to his place and party. Not sure they knew what Pickton was doing but …It’s beyond evil.
@@Oceandaisey18 I live in Vancouver,so I've been to the pig farm, and I'm not gonna get into details but, there were so many other people involved, and it's still going on today, they just moved to a new location. People are still going missing from the DTES(skid row) all the time. We've had more than 12 severed feet wash up on our waters front,I don't expect those causes of death will all be suicide.
I’m from Sacramento and everyone knows who Dorothea is and she lived right in the middle of town 😮
toy box killer's audio is insane
Wasn’t he the lorry driver
I've only heard portions of the recording he played for every woman he kidnapped but the transcript alone is sick beyond belief.
So funny that they caught the Long Island serial killer not long after this video.
Ayyyy! Vancouver in the thumbnail!👊🏻
Pickton didn’t have a license to sell pork publicly so the actual story is that he may have given the “contaminated” pork to just his neighbours. Even so, I didn’t eat pork for years and years and still have issues with it.
Glad they finally caught the long island serial killer. Those girls and families deserve justice and will get it now.
Seven. Great job! Was expecting around three so you really did great.
The Long Island Serial Killer, aka Craigslist Ripper, aka The Gilgo Beach Killer, has been caught!!!!!!!
When you watch Mr. Ballen there isn't much strange, dark, or mysterious content that gets bye
Is "teenage women" an oxymoron?
I live in Port Coquitlam! It’s so hard to think that I live to where a serial killer walked the streets years ago.
I live near Hannover and the Last Killer is not Karl Denke, it’s Fritz Harmann
Leonard lake and Charles Ng
I had a couple buddies who worked at Picktons farm a year or so before Pickton was caught. I live a few hours from where it happened.
That's wild.
@devinreis5811 we were all hanging out having drinks when it was announced on the news about the pickton farm, and my buddies who worked there absolutely went pale and were so freaked out. One (greg) handled meat packing, the other (braydon) also packed and slaughtered. Both handled most meat that that place produslced for a while there. Probably handled people meat.
Gonna have to update this list a little bit since thankfully they have caught the long island serial killer finally. He won't be harming any more innocent women
Robert Picktons reign in the 80s/90s in Vancouver and the lower mainland of BC was during the same time Gary Ridgeway aka The Green River Killer was terrorizing Seattle as they got caught a year apart in 2001/02, crazy to think more then one serial killers can be operating around the same region (Northwest) around the same time.
The VPD and The CMPD really dropped the ball by not investigating Pickton
Kermit Gosnell is another one
if you like true crime, you know of Dorothea Puente, David Parker Ray, Robert Hansen, Gerard John Schaefer, and Israel Keyes . ESPECIALLY if you say “Toy Box Killer” instead of Davids name
I gotta say, these real life killers represent infamy for their heinous crimes
I lived 2 kilometres away from Robert Pickton. I was 7 when he got found out. Scary shit.
I've heard about most of these monsters. However, I watch a lot of crime related shows and documentaries,
Karl Denke is so unknown, that you used a picture of Fritz Haarmann instead of his only known picture, which was taken after death.
That’s cool, I’m actually going to Houma, LA today
Best part of this is that they have now caught the long Island killer!!
Keyes always stuck out to me. The idea that he has kill kits stashed across the country always made him stand out.
3 out of 20 I never heard of. I would say which numbers but they never really say them anymore. Also most of them on this list has been featured time and time again on these list.
Some real 'Arsenic and Old Lace' vibes in this list...
Ah yes... A serious theme, the classic Watchmojo music (still can't find the name of the song) and Rebecca. 👌
Number 1: Karl Denke *proceeds to show a picture of Fritz Haarmann*
I think this has happened before
they found the long island serial killer now
Only 3 I haven't heard of. Good list.
Can we put the Florida panthers on here after what they did to the Boston bruins this year?
John Shafer and The Devil Tree; local “lore” in Port Saint Lucie, Florida; the tree is in Oak Hammock Park
Shoutout to Mr. Ballen
It’s good seeing McKay on this list, not enough people know of hi.
Talking about these monsters like they’re underrated musicians that deserve more attention is INSANE lmfao
😂😂😂
Its crazy that as of now they have the Gilgo brach killer
I live in and was born in Anchorage Alaska. Long story (DWI/Assault 3 because I was drunk driving.) but I had to go to prison down in Spring creek correctional in Seward and had my haircut twice by the barber...Robert Hansen aka "Butcher baker" in late 1999 to early 2000. Then when Samantha Koenig went missing from "Common Grounds" coffee shop near my house, me, my brother, and girlfriend all went around the woods and neighborhood searching for her. Alaska is the capital for serial killers per capita according to the FBI. It's a perfect environment for a serial killer. I've often seen women walking around Anchorage late at night(I used to have to pick my girlfriend up at 2am from downtown where she worked.) by themselves and thought how easy it would be for some twisted killer to grab them up. I would never ever let my girlfriend walk home at 2am even when she wanted to sometimes in the summer. It's suspected that there might be 1 active serial killer here in Anchorage right now, and also 1 up at Fairbanks taking away native women. Sad...but thats reality.
So many of the criminal minds episodes take directly from these cases.
The koreatown slasher was another. Lots from the murder boom in the 80's
That's Fritz Haarmann though
Ha I heard of Picton I am from BC as well
I've literally heard of all of these
The word "recognition" feels incredibly ill-conceived in the context of serial killers. Why should anyone give them recognition of all things?
I've heard of almost all of these are they are so terrifying.
Which true crime channels do you listen to
What a bunch of messed up people
The toybox killer makes me so sick
Karl Denke is a Pictures of Fritz Harmann
These criminals never heard of giving the creeps.
Got a list of one-time killers? Here's a tip for a lurking-evil, shoulda-seen-it-coming case: search for "Madonna Whitus" (aka Smyrna Caretaker Murder).
Are there really Halloween type ghosts @16:46?
I don't know if it's connected but there was a fella just arrested for being the serial killer of Gilgo Beach
Picton got his...killed in jail with a broken broomstick a couple months ago
Monsters in plain sight
only never heard of one of them
True crime is so popular now most of these are as well known as Bundy and Gacy theses days
The most horrible thing about the Harpe’s is what they did to the baby that made too much noise
Wasen t that a child of the older brother? If I remeber right
I think H.H.Holmes doesn't get the amount of attention in history for as sick and twisted not only he was but the way he committed his crimes
Add Anthony tiegar aka Tony the tiger..
Killing fern York and Brenda Brown September 1990 in San Pablo California. Beat them both and robbed them.
Rest in peace grandma Fern 💘🙏
The last one didnt Show "Papa Denke" it showed Fritz Haarmann another german serial murderer from Hannover.
Killers are not even interesting anymore… it has become so normal these days . Sad but true
I've heard of all of these people.
I never hear much about the briley Brothers. They were pretty scary
‘ you’ve never heard of ‘ - then has 20 of the most well known
I honestly don't get why court judges sentence serial killers to 300-1,000 years imprisonment. Wouldn't that technically be a Life Sentence? We all know nobody is capable of living for that long
I actually had a great great uncle (i may have the amount of greats wrong) killed by the harpe brothers allegedly, according to my family
Long Island rex heuermann has been charged now
I knew most of these but I watch shows about serial killers so... Lol Also more people would know who Robert Hanson was if you gave his nickname which was "The butcher baker". More would know him by that name.
Leonard lake was a disturbed person
14:40 in june 2023, rex heuermann was caught
David Parker Ray’s story is soooo twisted. Read Cries In The Desert.
Dorothea is relatively well known.
Gilgo Beach killer has been caught
Patrick MacKay was actually released over a year ago. Mojo does the bare minimum research into their video subjects 😂
Chloe and Sean
Panzram should be number one
idk how "well known" he is, but Joseph Duncan is another one....
