Dostal has a horrid team infront of him but has so many games where he comes up so big he’s gonna be a star soon
not as long as he is with the Ducks.
He still has a lot of issues with rebounds, like the pucks don’t stick to him very well so there’s always a lot cleaning to do on rebounds. He’s decent, but has some work to do, as does the entire team in general.

@@adamsusta4848 for sure, still young and room for growth like the rest of the team. They have a guy in the AHL, Tomas Suchanek, who is playing very well also. Hope they can sign him to an NHL contract.

Dostal has been better than Gibson quite some time now.

If Gibson was in net he’d have given up 6-7 goals. The dude stops trying after he faces more than 10 shots in a first period every time. Hell he gave up 4 on 28 Thursday night.

I love how Devils fans chant Rangers suck Flyers swallow 20x a game at their home games. That chant is hilarious especially after the Rangers routed them on their home ice last week. It looks to me like the Devils suck and Flyers swallow this season especially after Jack Hughes miscue on the penalty shot last night with 2 seconds left.

The rule is if you deliberately knock the net off in the last minute of the game, it's automatically a penalty shot.

I've been watching hockey for 60+years (10,000 games), never seen that happen... I'll try to see if I can find it.... just curious. Maybe under "penalty shots in the NHL".
As far as I know, the only time other than obviously tripping or hooking on a breakaway is 1) skater closing the puck with his hand in the crease 2) goalie throwing his stick on a breakaway.
