People who actually owns a z should be doing these reviews so someone who knows what their talking about can explain, especially when it come down to comparing a newer z than an older one.
Please clean the car before you show the car...such a turn off....wheels are ok , I own a pearl white17 Nismo and those wheels are second to none. The Z is a fun car and for a sports car it's affordable to own . I get compliments all the time...and I see people snapping pics when Im on the highway. When I get gas people walk over and ask about it...or usually how I like it or how much it costs. It was due for a restyle 2-3 years ago... I hope Nissan/Infiniti don't screw it up....Yes Infiniti owns the styling rights the the 370Z
it is different! you cant tell because this car is so dirty, but the diffuser has been painted black on all models. Get yourself a red 2018 and youll get a black diffuser with it. You also get blacked out headlights/taillights and distressed/black chrome door handles previously reserved for the nismo. New wheels, new performance exedy clutch for M6 models, and APPARENTLY the tune has been revised to allow more low end torque for 2018. I dont know if i believe that last part but thats what the press kit said. the hatch release inside the vehicle is pretty useful too. with the price of a 370z+Sport Package in Canada being 35,000 I dont know why so many people hate on this car online. Its still a huge bargain considering low km 2013's are going for 30k
Laugh - I have a 2014. The ONE thing they really should have updated would be the worthless rear diff. It's garbage on ALL models including the "nismo." I have the "sport" version = still garbage. This is why we continually deal with the traction control OR one tire fire/breaking lose under hard accelleration upon corner entry in 1st/2nd gear, especially if there's any imperfections in the pavement. I like that they did the headlights, because the Chrome look was dated the moment the car came out in 2009. The hatch release, should have been with the car in 2009, so, it's almost like Nissan said: "Hey, we'll give you a VERY small amount of time/money to do some updates..." Overall you can find a used 370z + sport package easily for around $15-$23k 2013-2015, so that's the wise way to go instead of taking the depreciation hit.
07wrxtr1 the VLSD is meant for light street use and had no intention for heavy trsck usage, which matches the demographic of most Nissan owners. It works well enough for those purposes if you service it. Installing a heavy duty LSD would drive the costs up.
Still the same! My cousin got the 18 I have the first year of the z 2009 and yes the bumper is the same and yes the rear tail lights are the same. This guy doesn't know about the zs
It is a minor change, but there is in fact a difference in bumpers and tail lights. You are welcome to view nissannews.com to review the rest of the 2018 model year changes
Don't listen to all the haters. Cool car and classic design. One of the last N/A engines out there in this price range and performance which is a pity.
I think the point is that the car needs a real refresh and you're MUCH better off finding one 2-3 years old for $15-$23k used if you can land one with the upgraded brakes/rear diff (which is still a total pos but better than the base model). Really, they should have kept the stock rays from 2014-2016, and added Michelin Pilot SS / S4S tires. The headlights though are a worthy upgrade, but everything else is pretty weak. They really should have just done color matched door handles.
All car dealerships are the same: Whether its' a 2 million $ Bugatti, or a $500 beater = same enthusiasm / same zero effort on the car washing. Car sales people absolutely do not care about the cars themselves period. If they did, they would pay the right people for the job who actually know/care, but instead they hire people that can just spew out platitudes and false promises with a straight face and sociopathic enthusiastic tone, all in an effort to try to extract the greatest amount of margin per unit.
This platform never gets old to me. I would take it over a Genesis or Mustang any day.
Are you a alpha phi alpha
Yea the exedy clutch does feel good. I’ve had oem and action stage 3 but this exedy feels so effortless
Excellent color, Thank you for sharing, looks fabulous 👍👍
I know it’s been a while but what year was that white nismo? Was it manual? Please if you could
2018 very likely, or 2017 the oldest

Big Boost agreed. The rear looks exactly the same as mine. Now the interior hatch release.... I wish I had.

Are you serious? The wheels are ugly. Why did they get rid of the 19 inch Ray's.
Agreed. Rays are so much nicer. These look pretty cheezy.
Cost?
Alex Fung cost? Really so they're downgrading the Z but leave the price the same what a joke
Cost cutting move. I agree!
This is a 2018 model? It looks very dated, and needs a refresh design for next year
They dont have the funding for now
Does all the automatics have paddle shifters?
Yes
How much money is this?
nice color!! Dust!!
Those wheels are straight off some shitty Honda cars (Civic much?) I'd sell those so quick.
Also I assume the engine is still the same?
Love my roadster it’s a 2014

Driver's side front rim looks scuffed and those are not the factory tires! The owner has been just trashing it!

Why?
Fire_Lord_Ozai LOL
Looks like all the previous 370z...

You can see the $10,000 dollar difference on the Nismo
The same as 2013
It looks more like the 350z
What's new... Nothing end of video
Slowly transforming into the rear end of a Porsche design. Carve it a little more from front to back and you got a Porsche wannabe!
Let someone else do these videos, please.

The time that Nissan took Toyota's and Honda rims and tried to make them millennial hip! Too bad they look so damn ugly.
