Watercolor & Whimsy with World Watercolor Month

It is #worldwatercolormonth so I thought I would dig out some of my whimsical doodles and play with paint. Watercolor seems to have its own mind and that's one of the things I love about it. It will jump outside the box with enthusiasm, so today I embrace that. For the watercolor I mainly used some very old tubes of Daniel Smith watercolor paint. the brushes were some inexpensive calligraphy-style brushes that I had purchased on a whim, and the paper was Canson Bristol Recycled. As for the drawing, this was a doodle I started while drawing with one of my grandkids. I then added to it while on a road trip that took us through areas where I saw rabbits and foxes, thus the wonky renditions of those.
This video was filmed on my iphone and edited in iMovie.
