Disney really got lazy again in terms of the animation. They really just said “make it 2D”, and then when they got too lazy, they just said “make it 3D with the cheap 2D Roblox cartoon ahh outline to show that we really didn’t put any effort” (like what they did to that Chip & Dale movie and Wish).

And Chip ’n Dale’s wannabe 2D aspect of the animation was also ‘lazy’ in that aspect because we’ve had films that have mixed actual 2D with 3D since films like Rodger Rabbit, Space Jam, Cool World, etc. How can people in those times (with less technology than we have today) can actually put the time and effort yet modern companies with tons more resources, tech, and advantages not do it, sounds like laziness to me.
My main problem with this show that won’t change even after the it releases is the animation. Seriously, the animation in the MTV Spider-Man is a thousand times better than this, and that was 22 years ago. (Saying that made me feel old af) There are some other things I don’t like, but they mostly stem from this being so incredibly different from the source material that it’s pretending to adapt or pay homage to. The fact Uncle Ben dies before Peter even gets bitten by the Spider has killed my interest in this show. Itshows that these writers don't understand the character at all. That's like having Bruce's parents die of a heart attack, and he still somehow becomes Batman.
Its fine, its a new take, different universe, you still have 616, i dont see you complaining about ultimate Aunt May (new one) being dead instead of uncle Ben AND before Peter getting his powers, its the execution/writing to tackle that is what really matters the most.
@@Stealthybat39 I think there is a big difference between a Peter Parker who became Spider-Man at age 30 because his life was stolen, compared to a young Peter Parker losing Uncle Ben before he even gets his powers in the first place.
Everyone complains about the animation for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and yet no complaints about the animation for old Marvel shows like Spider-Man: The New Animated Series or Iron Man: Armored Adventures

But let’s wait and see; I’d actually like to be proven wrong.
People say Batmans story has been told to death but spiderman definitely belongs in the same boat. This was the least interesting origin for spiderman and the animation just makes it worse

The dialogue in this first trailer was painful, and Norman Osborn “training” Peter and giving him the Future Foundation suit really irritates me. I’m not saying it couldn’t be good, but Disney has been really bad at handling Spider-Man since they’ve been making S-M content. The ugly animation doesn’t help either.
I am still sceptical of this show, but I am willing to give it a chance... thou seriously can't they just give us TSSM Season 3 already?! I would love that show to get a soft reboot similar to Miraculous, but with it's beautiful classic animation style. Like, imagine Norman returning and teaming up with Carnage and Venom or Harry having to control Gwen's emotions via manipulating her into staying with him while saying he can do better and pretend to drink the green juice again, everytime Peter and her got a little too close to his liking. And Aunt May learning the truth about Peter while encouraging him to do the right thing in her own way despite her worries would have just been the cherry on that cupcake. If Sony were smart they would do this, but no - apparently they can't do this for some reason?🙄🕷 #BringBackTSSM! 👇
I don't think people like you realize the rights for spectacular is all tangled so no Sony has no tv rights but are allowed to use that spiderman while Disney owns tv rights but no right to that version there is no way Disney can bring back that show ever. Sony is the one that owns that spidey
Honestly you probably don’t want spectacular S3 any more it won’t be the same the main writer Greg wiseman is just not good anymore look at his most recent work at marvel spectacular spider-men it is just boring and flat out bad I would expect S3 to fall in the same fate his writing just isn’t good anymore The only way I see it working is if wiseman just took all his old untouched work and just used it as that then it would be fine after all spectacular had all these big finished plans 5 seasons and movies after where Pete is in college
@lightdarksoul2097 My point is, both companies have the rights to give long time fans of said show what they want... a proper ending to the show runner's vision. But no they would rather spend their time on blowing their money on remakes and projects no body asked for... like, another Smurf movie? Would you not rather watch a continuation of a story that was never given a real chance to expand on it's universe or spread it's wings?
@n.abookgirl2457 If I know the continuation could possibly ruin the show then yes I would rather it not continue look what happened to young justice another show that was canceled then brought back and guess what those new seasons are by far the worse in the show and brought down the quality of the show I would also like to point out that main writer is also Greg wiseman So yes I would rather not let speculator to continue cause it will most likely ruin that show’s reputation and quality
@@spideyboy2358 I still think if he was given the chance he could make something great. TSSM tv show was a passion project of his and as a young writer myself those types of projects are the best kind of projects. He probably still wants to continue his original work, but no one has given him the opportunity to do so imao. Still, wouldn't giving him his shot be worth it for the Spider-Man Community?
I’m sure the story is gonna be OK. But the animation is really ugly. They really should’ve went with the x-Men 97 animation since it’s from the same creators. It’s really odd. Well, we can’t judge the whole show at the moment because we haven’t seen the show yet.
What if this will be the canon Spider-Man moving forward and the reboot will mix the X-men, Avengers, YFNSM and Fantastic 4 universes? That would be fire! I can imagine this show going on as a four-season show!
That tracks. Clearly, Tom's Uncle Ben is Aunt May. He never seemed affected by his passing in the films. Even in Homecoming, when addressing old wounds, he said, "with everything that's happened with her" like it was more her loss than his.
I think I'm the same as chris I think I forced myself to like Hollands version cause I didn't like homecoming I didn't like far from home and I barely started liking his spiderman in no way home he needs to be more alone and use his own inventions
its not that type of situation where they glaze it early, they actually watched it early, and also they said they werent expecting much but they were won over by the end, some people are too afraid to try something new, people are too afraid to TRY to be happy, its a animated superhero show for children, at least judge it AFTER its released
I won’t watch it out of principle. I was interested in the initial premise. I’m not interested yet another disconnected reboot retreading everything that came before. Even if it’s good I don’t want to see it. If I was sold a Ferrari but given a Porsche I wouldn’t take the Porsche.
its prolly cuz norman's OG design was a white guy with waves, and they prolly didnt wanna risk making a white guy with waves cuz of how sensitive people are now, they just didnt put into thought abt the other freaks who get upsetty over a fictional character that doesnt actually exist just having different skin color

Yeah,I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed.
The fact Uncle Ben dies before Peter even gets bitten by the Spider has killed my interest in this show. Itshows that these writers don't understand the character at all.
That's like having Bruce's parents die of a heart attack, and he still somehow becomes Batman.
Smh, did they seriously do that???
Its fine, its a new take, different universe, you still have 616, i dont see you complaining about ultimate Aunt May (new one) being dead instead of uncle Ben AND before Peter getting his powers, its the execution/writing to tackle that is what really matters the most.
@@Stealthybat39 I think there is a big difference between a Peter Parker who became Spider-Man at age 30 because his life was stolen, compared to a young Peter Parker losing Uncle Ben before he even gets his powers in the first place.
You're fine? How? @Stealthybat39
so you really just wanna see the same identical story told over & over again..? not me, i wanna see somethin new
Hoping for the best but preapring for the worst. Reviews or schills, guess we will find out in a few days
Everyone complains about the animation for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and yet no complaints about the animation for old Marvel shows like Spider-Man: The New Animated Series or Iron Man: Armored Adventures
Probably because those shows are 20 years old and this just looks bad compared to them in general
This is people when they saw the animation in this show it's CGI it's ugly that is all the thought put into it the show looks so good I don't agree with the people that say the animation is bad at all think about it a little more
I am still worried about peter characterization in this teenage Pete is supposed to have some edge and a temper to him not some quirky pushover who can do no wrong
I can't wait to watch it
Until I see the show for myself I’ll continue under the belief that these reviewers are doing disgusting tricks on it.
I’m skeptical about the reviews. That said, I might be a bit biased because I absolutely hate the animation. Tbh I was secretly hoping it would perform poorly-if it flops, Marvel might reconsider using this style of animation and awkward character changes in the future. But let’s wait and see; I’d actually like to be proven wrong.
The show reminds me of velma
DONT YOU DARE DISRESPECT THE ULTIMATE SPIDERMAN VIDEOGAME!!!!!!!!!
People say Batmans story has been told to death but spiderman definitely belongs in the same boat. This was the least interesting origin for spiderman and the animation just makes it worse
Wait so this is basically miles origin from into the spider verse but just with Peter??
It's still more MCU which had miles reference
It’s implied in the tie-in comic that uncle Ben died BEFORE getting bitten
@@numerousncomicsandlegos6780Which is stupid
@@numerousncomicsandlegos6780 no I’m talking about the spider from the different universe part
To me the animation looks kinda looks like dust borne
I’m gonna actually watch the first 2 episodes and see if I’ll watch it unlike being a hater or getting on
The hate wagon. I know people have their preferences but if you do fine, don’t watch it if it’s not for you
nah, they just glazing because they wanna be allowed to watch future shows early
It’ll be funny when you’re proven wrong
@ i won’t know because i’m not watching it even if it’s good
I'm surprised few people actually like the show.
thats what happens when you catually watch the show, and not base your whole opinion of it before it even actually came out :/
@CanoTheLegend I'm convinced Disney payed those people to give it good reviews.
You want forgiveness? get religion
Honestly, I believe it
These are paid shill reviews… wait for the real reviews aka the UA-camrs reviews lol 😂
So being a fan of marvel and Disney makes you a shill now?🤦♂️
No I have had it everyone just stfu about it this is the new Spiderman show in a couple of weeks everyone is going to be glazing it hard did X-Men 97 not teach you guys anything let them cook sheesh
I don't understand people who don't believe in this show explain why?
Because it seems to be WOKE
@CB0915 that's dumb ok both Norman Osborn and Harry Osborn have waves it's woke because they are black? I need more explanation than that buzz word answer
@CB0915 it's not woke that stupid how tell me how
@CB0915 Norman Osborne has waves in the comics so they made him black is that why you think it is woke elaborate
@@TroyRad-f1m i mean a white kid in basically an all black school trying to fit in and goin yooooo heyyy yooo trying to acti black. Race swapping every1 makin stuff gay makin characters look like freaks. Norman and Harry lol. Cmon. I bet Peter says hes non binary in this. Im gonna watch but i guarantee its woke
Can you say hi please I have been a fan since 5 😊
The dialogue in this first trailer was painful, and Norman Osborn “training” Peter and giving him the Future Foundation suit really irritates me.
If Sony were smart they would do this, but no - apparently they can't do this for some reason?🙄🕷
#BringBackTSSM!

I don't think people like you realize the rights for spectacular is all tangled so no Sony has no tv rights but are allowed to use that spiderman while Disney owns tv rights but no right to that version there is no way Disney can bring back that show ever. Sony is the one that owns that spidey
Honestly you probably don’t want spectacular S3 any more it won’t be the same the main writer Greg wiseman is just not good anymore look at his most recent work at marvel spectacular spider-men it is just boring and flat out bad I would expect S3 to fall in the same fate his writing just isn’t good anymore
The only way I see it working is if wiseman just took all his old untouched work and just used it as that then it would be fine after all spectacular had all these big finished plans 5 seasons and movies after where Pete is in college
@n.abookgirl2457 If I know the continuation could possibly ruin the show then yes I would rather it not continue
look what happened to young justice another show that was canceled then brought back and guess what those new seasons are by far the worse in the show and brought down the quality of the show I would also like to point out that main writer is also Greg wiseman
So yes I would rather not let speculator to continue cause it will most likely ruin that show’s reputation and quality
I'm not mad at the animation it's just different
I’m sure the story is gonna be OK. But the animation is really ugly. They really should’ve went with the x-Men 97 animation since it’s from the same creators. It’s really odd. Well, we can’t judge the whole show at the moment because we haven’t seen the show yet.
What if this will be the canon Spider-Man moving forward and the reboot will mix the X-men, Avengers, YFNSM and Fantastic 4 universes?
That would be fire! I can imagine this show going on as a four-season show!
Awesome
Slight spoilers for the prequel comic...
Uncle Ben is already dead, even before Peter got his powers.
That tracks. Clearly, Tom's Uncle Ben is Aunt May. He never seemed affected by his passing in the films. Even in Homecoming, when addressing old wounds, he said, "with everything that's happened with her" like it was more her loss than his.
That is a red flag for me
😂❤😂
7:44 ¿Sabes qué?
I think I'm the same as chris I think I forced myself to like Hollands version cause I didn't like homecoming I didn't like far from home and I barely started liking his spiderman in no way home he needs to be more alone and use his own inventions
Ofc they glaze it like EVERY other Marvel project before it releases…
When will yall learn
Pick a side. People hate on a marvel film, oh it’s must not be good, people like a marvel show, oh the must just be glazing
its not that type of situation where they glaze it early, they actually watched it early, and also they said they werent expecting much but they were won over by the end, some people are too afraid to try something new, people are too afraid to TRY to be happy, its a animated superhero show for children, at least judge it AFTER its released
It’s not glazing when it’s actually good like every other Marvel project including the Sony movies
I don’t believe a single one to be honest. Looks like utter crap and Marvel definitely paid off these reviewers.
Conspiracy theorist
look its dead meat
Every reviews like it
Mmm cool video
It doesn't look that bad
I won’t watch it out of principle. I was interested in the initial premise. I’m not interested yet another disconnected reboot retreading everything that came before. Even if it’s good I don’t want to see it. If I was sold a Ferrari but given a Porsche I wouldn’t take the Porsche.
I'm pissed on what they did to harry an norman
its prolly cuz norman's OG design was a white guy with waves, and they prolly didnt wanna risk making a white guy with waves cuz of how sensitive people are now, they just didnt put into thought abt the other freaks who get upsetty over a fictional character that doesnt actually exist just having different skin color
@@CanoTheLegendgotta admit tho………funniest part of that design, the idea of a white guy with waves is never not gonna make me laugh.
@aregularfanofmedia4184 but you know, there are those dumb people who would look at it and think it’s racist or some dumb shi
😂😂
