Great video, guys! Michael, I love your explanations and can't wait to see more about how you manage being a second shooter, ambassador for the business, a relationship builder and assistant. Somebody needs to create an award for best supporting role as a second shooter. Tyler, I cracked up at your consistency with the 'bye!' Thanks to both of you.
I photographed weddings for 14 years (331 weddings :). I clicked on this video out of curiosity and it's good to see how much you enjoy weddings and how you've developed the process of successful groom prep. I was having flashbacks to every groom experience the went both well and bad while watching. I wouldn't touch a wedding no matter the cost, but it's good to see others making it work.
I am shooting my 1st wedding vow renewal ceremony in 3 hours. Totally been freaking out, your videos have been a godsend! I have very limited space and locations so will be winging it a fair bit but I feel I have more of a grasp on what I need to do. Thank you so much!
Amazing. Thanks Michael and Katelyn for sharing this content! Gets me ready as the second shooter and the husband to capture some great get ready shots for my wife 😁
@@felicityannchen it was crazy. 30 people in the wedding party! Everyone was super nice (I knew some of the family). I really can't wait to get out there and shoot more 🥰
Nice video. I would have definitely been a lot better had you included some sample shots of each step or shot Michael was talking about so it resonates with us and we understand better what he means.
One of the main things I've had happen (or not happen) is the groom having no clue about detail shots or having anything ready ahead of time. I still gather up a couple things but they always just seem oblivious to that part
Humans have very little attention span nowadays, so I think it’ll be more conducive if you incorporate a lot more of the shots from the wedding throughout the video while explaining.
I love Katelyn's voice cameo, "I deserved to be in the air conditioning" 🤣
Yes lol
Same 😂
Wow the husband and wife photographer dynamic is just priceless. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Thanks for watching!

Is there a reason you don't do flat-lay style shots for groom details?
Nice example photos❤
Ugh I want more !! 🙌🙌🙌❤️
Really helpful, Thanks!!!!!
Hey Michael random question that has nothing to do with the topic, but why 2 watches? just curious.
Haha one is a Apple Watch and one is a whoop band (fitness tracker)
Great content. But also, why is Michael wearing two watches?
One is a Whoop band!
Nice tip here
Thanks so much!

Our Bridal Guide is a big help for this!! It tells them everything to have ready for us.

Two watches? You'll never be late for sure. I 2nd shoot all the time...let's see I can pick up a tip or two.
