This is the coolest thing! Allows you to spend so much more time with roof details and not having to stress about falling off while making cuts lol

Nicely executed, it's similar to jacking up a slip casting concrete tall building.
I saw the similar process in PA USA, where the roof of a 2 story house was built on ground using lightweight steel framing instead of traditional 2"x 6/8/10 framing and then the entire roof was hoisted by a crane into the house. Garage roof done the same way.
    Cheers Warren

Absolutely brilliant. I used to build houses. The part I liked least was building roofs because of the sheer labor involved- crawling up and down ladders, dragging plywood up over the eves, having to cut lumber in place, etc, etc, ETC! How I wish that I would have had this kind of technology and ability back then. Well done!

Thirty years ago I had this brilliant idea. Everyone said, no you don't know what you are talking about. You can't build a roof on the ground. Then raise it up and put a house under it. LMAO 🤣 🤣 🤣
Thanks for proving that I was right.

Nice lifts idear! I'm wondering if a published video is able to be legally restricted from an individual storing and replaying it for his or her self in a private manner, not very dissimilar from the open access viewing according to how it's broadcast here for internet users.

Really? A three-story house? How many three-story houses do you see being currently built, Rigo? Other than the occasional mansion, new three-story homes are virtually non-existent! The reason is simple. People do not want to climb that many stairs and would rather spread out than go up. I know because I used to build spec and custom houses and NEVER built a three-story. Finished attics, yes, but never a true three-story.

@@krashunburn In Sydney Australia we build many many 2 , 3 and up to 4 floor homes some with basements, they are usually closer to the city centre due to small land sizes from back in the 1930's most have lifts, and are for familes of 3 up to 6 adults and childeren to live in. A pool is also built outside on the land , hence not much room to build a big spread out single level home.

Super cool system, but if you can’t get ahold of one…:(

Nah, too much chance for catastrophe. Don't see the point in constructing a roof one metre off the ground to then lift it just two more metres. For what? To save a single lift scaffold? You construct an accurate, square, strong and level ring beam to build the roof off, just to have to dismantle same and remove from site. Then you have to construct your walls anyway. Not to mention gusting winds.
