Bit late to the Solardo party, but at work every time a tune came on Spotify that I liked it was always Solardo! Really refreshing to know that it's all inspiration and a few tweaked presets. Like Old-Skool producers would use a certain piece of hardware for it's 'hard-wired' qualities and tweak that... If it works, it works. And their tracks definitely work!
if you listen to their tracks they do have more technical knowledge than this guy presentation skills does justice for. sometimes you just suck at trying to explain things/presentation.
Solardo tunes bang like pistols - there is another video online where he is talking about the hardware he uses, he has a nice bunch of analogue compressors and tape machines in his studio... I think he is keeping his secrets to himself :D
The mix and master engineer needed to work his as off to salvage some quality from this over compressed dry stuff what he just presented. All hail these everyday hero's who'll never get enough credit for their hard work!
Well can’t see the point as all the dynamics have already been done to it but same here great props as landed a banger early in his career so he should do well if it’s not a one off
Please, help with the 2nd video! I didnt found a second video on the File Silo! And yes, i have an acces to 256 issue)) No video in the download folder!
This video is great, nothing technical, just raw mixing with no rules resulting in a huge club banger result. But def not down from compressing and limiting a kick, especially with an SSL...
Jeeez, every time he turns around the sound dips. A channel dedicated to sound failed at the very first hurdle. Otherwise, great content...from what I could hear.
Great producer and good tips but when I’m watching tutorials I like to see inside the project when I’m watching. 90% of this here is him speaking about production and sometimes easier to follow when your looking at the project on your screen. My two cents anyway
let's upload a video with terrible sound and then ask everyone to buy the product to see the next episode in the series 'awful sound in a video about producing fucking music'
they actually do work i.e. ableton's glue gives better punch than waves api2500 most of the time. you're probably just spewing something you've read somewhere
Actually yes, do the things you should NOT DO and you can make something proper. There are no rules, especially in electronic music, it cant be compered to classic mixing/production.

He's not technically minded but created an amazing hit, props to him and can show with a bit of dedication and time talent you can make it.
Exactly! 👍
Creativity first. Technical second.
if you listen to their tracks they do have more technical knowledge than this guy presentation skills does justice for. sometimes you just suck at trying to explain things/presentation.
A creative mind > a technical mind. Although technical mind would have spent a lot of time mastering this
A ghost producer helps too. Just saying....
love how almost everything is, I don't really know what I'm doing but it sounds good hahaha
wow.... FINALLY! Been dying to see how they go about their tracks
not technical at all which i love, but i was more so after their bass haha,a although some great tips about the kicks!
Jscott Music I’m trying to take inspiration from their basslines and failing miserably..
Nobody makes a bass rumble like these guys haha
Hell yeah!!! Uses Cubase and just goes off intuition. Props

Buddy, I don’t like your tone.
Haha I like his honesty ... meh I don’t know all the technical shit
not enough compression
I’m going to copy this but change the percussion.
Thanks for sharing n breaking it down Mark!
Yes Cubase the mother of all DAW
I got pug eq too. I use it to add bark to my sounds.
wtf did they record the sound with his laptop mic
laptop mics are good sometimes
nah man it’s a Lav on his shirt but he keeps turning his head away to look at the camera and away from the mic. so it’s shit
Christmas came early.
Oi. Solardo.. You know you're a gangster for creating this beat. I Love the drop and just sounds cool as f
Nice one
wicked tutorial this. Nice one
is it legal to record audio from a youtube video and use it to make money?? I would be worried about lawsuits
awesome! love them basslines
Super interesting approaches to engineering!
The mix and master engineer needed to work his as off to salvage some quality from this over compressed dry stuff what he just presented. All hail these everyday hero's who'll never get enough credit for their hard work!
Róbert Bús he mixed the track himself mate
I love hearing all the super successfully djs and producers giving their intake on stuff
I was thinking the same thing, someone spent a lot of ours making this sound spot on
Róbert Bús they get paid so nobody knows who they are
@@HelpIwantToLeave are you high? of course he did not ...
Wicked tutorial man!!!!!!!!
Norti tech house creamers 😩😩👌🏻😤💯💯🔥

please asnwer...when you buy digital copy to get in the studio too?
Well can’t see the point as all the dynamics have already been done to it but same here great props as landed a banger early in his career so he should do well if it’s not a one off

Plug tech? Puig old boy, Puig.
Holy crap, I thought the whiteboard was a screen. A way more warmer screen 😏
Scott, watch your tone buddy. I’ll batter you.
i can't watch or more correct listen to this.. sry
ua-cam.com/video/pa7E1sE5JoU/v-deo.html
is this video side chained to something wtf is happening lmao
The fact he is 'self taught' and manages to create such amazing tunes says an awful lot about the current state of music production.
a buss compressor on a kick drum... no further comment needed
Well I mean it clearly works for him cause it’s their biggest track
they actually do work i.e. ableton's glue gives better punch than waves api2500 most of the time. you're probably just spewing something you've read somewhere
How is a comp with a slow attack on a kick drum bad? lol
“rules” about making fucking music. no further comment needed.
17:21 DO NOT compress your kicks as much as this..
unless you want to get a beatport number 1 that is
jesus I hope you don't really believe that
Actually yes, do the things you should NOT DO and you can make something proper. There are no rules, especially in electronic music, it cant be compered to classic mixing/production.
Can assure you this kick sounds banging on a festival/club sound system
