I love this session! Thanks Future!
A true gent and a great producer. No bullshit, no unnecessary processing. Straight up solid House grooves !
"house music is not about over complicating things, nice and simple"
"They sampled us? Pull that up Jamie."
Anyone know which episode of JRE this sample is from?
Sounds like Donnell Rawlings to me.
Lol ya never know... still can't believe Joe Rogan interviewed an electronic music artist (Steve Aoki) for the first time.
@@stealth797 artist? more like a clown
Nice one! More of these ace producers please, FM.👍🏾
Josh Butler never fail!
It's cool to see a successful house producer actually using outboard gear in 2019. Respect.
Difficult for me creating those atmospheric "beds" he talked about having in all his tracks. They never fit or sound well mixed in.
you can use send efx from hats group or synths for create that atmosphere
I mess around with making 1-2 beat loops (very rapid, but ranges accordingly) of random samples I record, adjusting the transients, EQ, and fx and its usually always rather interesting. if it doesn't fit, the sample might need to be tuned and EQ'd to the track. if the bed is out of tune with the percussion or the music, it'll never really sit well

Have you tried side chaining to the kick drum... might help it breathe with the track
thats the hard part mate, finding samples and vocals that suite the vibe is key. try putting ping pong delay and an autofilter on the samples.
Thanks everyone for the tips, will try them on my current production!
BIG VIBES
