The NEW UPDATED Puma is out now in the UK. However, they have dropped the 1.5 engine which is a massive fail by Ford.I have a 2022 1.5, and it's brilliant.
@michaelc6325 I think you have a great investment to be honest, people will be climbing over each other to get one of the last ones....or any 1.5lts over the next 2 or 3 years. A great buy, enjoy, I love mine.
I've got one, even smiling when she goes in traffic jam - start and stop system working smoofly. The 1-liter engine is a miracle, how it performs. With excellent suspension and AGR seats is quite comfy.
What are Ford thinking dropping the 1.5 200BHP With mechanical slip differential for this talk about a backward step and no manual available either together with dropping the fiesta can Ford get much more wrong . As a Ford customer of 38 years and owning the escort cosworth back in 1992 what direction are they going.
Unfortunately we are from a bygone era. But in its defence, this is a great fun vehicle to drive, and being an auto will appeal to those not manually minded.
I had the Puma ST 1.5 ecoboost for a year, and test drove the 1L, and nope, didn't gave me the smile on the face sadly, 1L is to less power.. the 1.5 was almost to less power for such car.. I bought myself a real ST, a Ford Focus ST3 mk3 2.0 ecoboost. my puma st broke down a few times, lots of steeringrack problems, suspension problems, paint losing from wheel arches, rubbers fell of at the rear doors, parcel shelf holders came lose a lot of times.... it was fun while driving an the Belgian farming roads, but to much problems, sold the car to the dealer and chose a bigger one
Hello, very good opinion video about automatic hybrid ST👍😊 But one thing I wonder about that quick steering, is steering ratio really same as manual ST?
Lots of car makers are doing smaller engines nowadays seems to be the future, i was a bit upset when ford say no more 1.5t puma st in uk, still i would happily get this 1.0st puma , planning on getting one in couple years time as for colour choice we see whats available then because ford change colour options every couple years, hoping they bring back mean green 👌👍🏴
Less ccs is always a worry but for us, Ford have got the balance right with this. We'd go for a more vibrant colour too. Thanks for watching all the way from Scotland
This is not a 2024 ford Puma . The one you are testing has the wrong front bumper. The wrong info center it is now incoperated in the dash under the air vents
@@TarmacLife I think the puma is a very good car I have 2023 st line x here in Italy and as soon as my lease is up I will get the new model. The only problem with all new cars is that I don’t see them last 10 years
@@salvomineo1636 Nice, really enjoyed the Puma, but give the full ST a go before you go for the ST-Line, it's a different animal. Agree with your worry about vehicle longevity too

If Ford brought this stateside I would definitely consider one. CEO Farley said a couple years back he wanted to make it happen.
It's such a great. Compact SUV, something you can have real fun with.

Love how ford performance always try and get the best performance out of the smaller engines.
Totally agree, and this one is a cracker
Having driven both, the outgoing 1.5 manual is noticeably quicker and a more engaging drive.
Just bought one - impressed
We're jealous, great SUV
