Game’s incomplete, but that’s nothing new since the game industry as a whole took a hit from the pandemic. Yeah it’s not like what us boomer hunters are used to, but that’s simply to grab the attention of a larger audience who know of the game and never played it. However, the old Gen music slaps harder than the newer soundtracks so much that it’s night and day.

FORWARD!!!" *charges in with my 2 Palicos and take down Dah'ren just before it takes down the boat* For real though, this song just makes you feel invincible, no matter what you're doing.
Hearing this start playing is the Monster Hunter equivalent of hearing the anime main theme play during a fight. It just pumps you up so much that you're legitimately able to play better. This franchise is absolutely phenomenal.
There is no song in this world that fills a hunter with more dedication than this piece right here. Remember, hunters: a hunt is not over until it is over!
Ok, so I was playing DnD tonight, and I had a ranger loosely based off a Hunter. I got one-shot by a monster- but then I rolled a Nat 20 on my Death Saving Throw and got right back up. You better believe that this started playing in my mind as we kept fighting.
@@Irn0x I feel Ahtal Ka would be a Rampage exclusive. She wouldnt't even be an Apex, she just rolls up as herself. Do enough damage to her and she creates the Nesto from your own defenses. And of course, her final weapon is still the water wheel.
Or, if we destroy the Nesto in the Rampage, we fight her in a normal map with other monsters. She can grab things to use as weapons (sort of like Banbaro) but if you try to bring another monster to the fight, she will wyvernride it against you. Imagine her hopping on the back of a Magnamalo to try and take you down.
This is pure Gold. It’s probably my Bias but Ahtal Ka became my favorite monster of all. She’s so fun to fight and then 4th Phase starts and this hits? There’s no better feeling.
I always fall in love with GU proof of hero since MHGU intro, but ahtal ka final phase just makes it skyrocket to become the best proof of hero in the entire series
If I could go back in time and experience one battle again for the first time, it would be Ahtal-Ka. I was even late when playing MHXX so I already saw the fight in a gameplay video but experiencing it on my own was still amazing.
Ahtal-Ka is probably my favorite final boss fight ever. It’s just such a perfect distillation of exactly what makes MH cool: Well-thought-out fantasy biology, ingenuity, sick weapons, swashbuckling badassery, sheer over the top ridiculousness. And an unconventional choice of monster that’s pulled off incredibly well.
The buildup that starts at 3:33 is good, but the payoff at 4:05 is just fantastic. Musical elation mingled with intense nostalgia that brings a tear to my eye.

You can feel every cell in your body screaming for a reprieve as blood drips from the many wounds scattered across your body. But even so, you take a deep breath and grip your weapon. You glance over at the creature writhing and squirming to get back up. It too is on its final legs. “Just a little more” you think to yourself as you close your eyes to remember all of the battles that lead up to this point. The monster recovers as the two of you glare at each other with fierce determination. This is it just you and the monster. No more running away. Just one last final fight to determine who lives or dies.
This rendition... i feel it like there's a final battle of a noble hero hunter V.S a terrible apocaliptic monster. The hunter was giving hist final breath, but he remembered what it matters; family, friends, innocent people... a sweetheart waiting for him in home... he must protect everyone... He will protect every single person he loves!
I can't stop smiling and my eyes are watering like crazy because Generations on 3ds was my first monster hunter game ever and as I said before still the best version
