What I can see is that you need to change your string. You could use paracord and get your shoes closer to the drill bits, or you could straighten your drill bit and make it smooth. You could also use ivy drill sets and just stick to one type of wood set. Try to drill up rather than down and put a bit more pressure on your fishing strings. You could also try getting some oxygen in your lungs, as you are out of breath. etc. why don't you just carve a fennel shape type of spindle. tc.
Heck yeah brother- SCIENCE!!! Glad you took the time to test Mike’s gear ratio method on the bow drill.. Proud of you for doing this one 👊🏻🔥👊🏻
Thank you! It’s so awesome to share ideas and skills and theories freely and just have fun with it.
Got some fun stuff in the works with this!!
So glad to hear your thoughts on this, and thanks so much for sharing this information. Love it when we can work together to help people
Absolutely! Thank you for sharing it and starting that spark for me. Since this video I’ve got a few more sets made and experimented more!
Yeah...gear ratio works...been doing this for a while now.
Makes a noticeable difference
Absolutely it does
If you're not opposed to using power tool, palm sander will make a smooth round surface for the bow string

They are the Teva puffy shoes
