Every guy puts something on the table. Karan and Neville always remains reasonable, Kautuk adds puns but it's Varun who adds laughter to the podcast. So, No, it isn't a placebo.

Kartik Chauhan ik i am a bit too late to thia coz of notifications, but what i am trying to say is that ppl are wrong in saying that 'if there is no varun then the podcast is shit'. Thts the placebo im talking abt, if u think the podcast will be bad b4 even watching it, u wont enjoy the podcast.
The number of comments protesting Varun’s absence is jarring. He has some funny moments for sure, but he is also arguably the most problematic and often prejudiced of the lot. I like them all, but Kautuk and Karan are my favorites. I find them to be the most introspective and progressive. Neville, I haven’t seen enough of to have a strong preference for (yet), but whatever I have seen, I like him just fine. Aadar is adorable.
PS SNG, if you are taking requests, from the comedy circuit, I would love to see Karunesh Talwar and Kunal Kamra in conversation with you. And since you have started inviting hindi movie actors, it would be great if you invited Irrfan Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Randeep Hooda, Radhika Apte, Varun Grover, Konkona Sen, Kalki Koechlin...

This podcast reminded me of the time when I saw Neville Shah at kofuku, Bandra. I tried to call him to say hello, but he was in a hurry and quickly ran into the restaurant 😅
This podcast was pretty decent uptill the 13th minute mark. After that these guys just didnt know what do say. One thing for sure is that whenever theres no Varun on podcast theres no flow. The edits were so clear. Its also good to see Kautak kinda controlling the podcast.

About the podcast - I hate to say it guys but I don't like this new thing of constantly interrupting each other (over silly puns) thinking it's funny. It may be funny to you guys at the moment but it's just extremely annoying as a viewer. If I have to laugh I'll watch a stand up video or a sitcom! You guys are great at discussions, so let's prioritise that!
About the topic - I think Karan is slightly wrong. It's not an either/or. It's not that if you believe in the genuine idea of romance, of living with each other's imperfections, you cannot do the grand gesture days too. I think healthy relationships can have both. But again, it's between the partners. If both of ya'll give zero fucks about days like these, good for you!
