      Giridhar Guptha you cant say straight away that he is a jerk. He has to survive from his predator, so he uses his brains. Also, he too cares about Tom.

    You become an adult the day you realize your parents are vulnerable too, they too get scared and cannot solve all your problems. when you start thinking who is going to look after them and would they get lonely and you ask them the same questions they asked you as a kid, did you have fun? did you make friends? did you eat well did you get enough sleep? are you happy? what can we do for you? koi kaam toh nahi?

    Adulthood is when one is financially independent , responsible. Also knowing how to control ones attention. Being tolerant towards others opinions regardless of what it might be is another sign. Patience is the key to adulthood is what I think.

    Like legal ages for drinking, driving, right to vote etc are different in different states and even countries. Adulthood is different for different aspects of life.
    ex.
    adulthood is the age when you stop going out for window shopping
    Or
    When you realise you can't afford to experiment with certain things in life

  • @thelastcube.
    @thelastcube. 6 років тому +3

    That's a nice one but I disagree (sort of - partially to some) with majority of the points
    I think it's subjective as just like every person goes through their own different transitions with the context and all
    To me adulthood is your phase in life where you have gone through all these transitions (knowing that you're responsible for your own actions and all) and then how you cope it up with your updated mentality

    You become an adult when you accept that you have to be warm and cordial with everyone. When you accept that you have to compromise your plans because you have a role to play like everyone else. When you learn to live with your mediocrity. Self acceptance is adulthood.
