Bottom Bouncer Walleyes on Weed Lines | Bitter Lake South Dakota

- An easy way to catch midsummer walleye right now is to cover water and find fish with bottom bouncers. Jason Mitchell joins Sam Larsen from Northland Fishing Tackle. Targeting walleye on the outside edge of weed lines in the South Dakota Glacial Lakes Region (Bitter Lake). Algae blooms and wind enable you to fish right below the boat with a heavy bottom bouncer and spinner harnesses. We use the Northland Tackle Butterfly Blades because these harnesses turn and lift at much slower speeds which is an advantage when following irregular weed edges. Complete run down of pattern and setup so you can incorporate this style of fishing to catch more walleye this summer!

Great information as usual. Much appreciated.
Great informative video thanks.
Was up there a few weeks ago and just killed them on a sneaky pattern. Definitely a fun area to fish.

Nice
I fish smile blades on Erie 99% of the time limit out all the time on structure
Rod? Length and Power
I like a seven good medium fast action Baitcasting rod for bottom bouncers and spinners. Sometimes a medium heavy if there is a lot of rock and I am running rods in the rod holders.
Thanks
