Meramec State Park Camping - Westover Farms Trout Fishing - Small Easy Setup

You know you love it outside. You love feeling the breeze in your face when you ride your motorcycle. You love the thrill when that fish hits your fly or bait! You love sitting around a campfire at. night relaxing! You can do it all with just a little planning. Get the bike, get the camper, get your fly rod and head out.. that's the plan. I got my small toy hauler off of Facebook Marketplace... took me a while to find the right one. I didn't want anything big that I couldn't handle by myself. My Jeep hauls this just fine. I can get my Harley Heritage and Harley Hydra Glide in it, but this little Honda Rebel 250 is so easy for camping. I fear the Rebel.. it's like riding a mini bike.. I could lose control on it easily because I'm kinda stupid on it... Invinsible. I'm not that way with my big bikes.
I thought I made reservations at Maramec Springs Park.. nope, I made them at Meramec State Park. There is a difference, but they aren't far from each other. I wanted to trout fish, and Meramec State Park is more for river floating. I stayed thought and decided to head to Westover Farms to fish for trout. It's an amazing place... just beautiful and never overcrowded, they make sure of that.

I do still have my Kayak.. I could probably bring it and the Rebel in the camper… hadn’t thought of that! Westover Farms is such a great place to relax and fish. It’s just beautiful there.
