    23 January 2023, Thank you for the video, it helped me a lot with the zone programming on the HS2016-4 Neo (With HS2LED keypad)
    I used to install Honeywell, FBII Alarm panels and the DSC programming is not the same.

    Thankj you for your video- i have a dsc1616 with the led pane pk5508l and i was able to find the trouble light area no. 7 and it turned out my key fob battery was low- the key fob takes 2 cr2025 but the 2032 will fit- it worked perfectly- i armed the alarm, let it fully arm, then disarmed ( both with key fob) and the trouble light immediatelyt disappeared. Thanks alot… 12 years later

    This is great timing, I just bought a Neo to upgrade my 2500 DSC system, just bought the house. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I would be interested in a video about partitions and how they work. thanks again Fred K.

      Good deal Fred! You'll find the NEO a very robust system. Glad we could provide the video for you. This should make programming a little easier to understand. We're going to be putting out a good deal more. We have a video planned for partitioning by the way. Hopefully we can get it out soon for you. Have a great day!

      Oh, by the way, you can find our DSC NEO quick start programming guide here - www.alarmsystemstore.com/pages/dsc-powersseries-neo-hs2016-hs2032-hs2064-hs2128-quickstart
      This is a guide we wrote that takes the programming you'll find in the manual and condenses it down to about 5-6 pages

    Hello And thanks for the video,
    i think that the problem that i have is related with the pgm configuration,I have a
    1x pc1864
    1x PC5204
    3x 5108
    On the third 5108 they are 4 glassbreakers
    1 glassbreaker sensor of then connect directly to the 1864 (aux+-) which works,
    The other 3 connected to the 5204 (aux/01) and the panel show them as always on
    Also we have a motion sensor that doesn’t activate when is movement . That is connected to the 5204(aux/01)
    I have others two movement sensor connected
    Sensornumber-label-zoneDefinition-Module/Card-CurrentCableConnected-Status
    25- ComedorGlassbreaker-3-PC5204-Aux/01-NotWork
    26- Hallentradamovimiento-5-PC5204-red/black-Works
    27- Livingroomglassbreaker-3-PC5204-Aux/01-NotWork
    28-Familyroommotion-5-5204-Aux/01-NotWork
    29-Familyroomglassbreaker-3-5204-Aux/01-NotWork
    30-Kitchenglassbreak-3-1864-aux+/aux--NotWork
    31-Hallarribamovimiento-5-5204-red/black-Works
    32-Cuartopplmovimiento-5-1864-aux+/aux-Works
    I did an experiment!.
    changing from 5204 aux/01 to red & black the error disapears from the panels,
    the sensor blinks when they are activated, but the panels doesnt register the changes.
    also the other glassbreaker sensor that was working before, stop working!.
    any comments?
    Thanks in advance

    What are the partitions used for, and this is the important question, pgm2 you said it resets automatically after disarm, can’t I have my smoke detectors be 24 hour even if the sys is disabled and I use the *72 or 70 something to system reset the pgm? I’m using a high output board with fire alarm horns and this is in a building so I need the pgm 2 to always to active even Disarmed

    How does one program the PG9901 Wireless Indoor Siren to work with this Neo Alarm System?

    • @AlarmSystemStore
      @AlarmSystemStore  5 місяців тому

      You can add the PG9901 in the same way that you do wireless sensors to the panel as long as your system can support wireless devices. You can check out our other video for instructions on programming wireless devices: ua-cam.com/video/PhY0rY1CLFo/v-deo.html
      You should not need to do any other programming besides enrolling the device in your system.

    I have an HS2032 but it has installed lockout enabled. It clicks rapidly when I plug it in. Shorting pgm1 and zone 1 didn’t work. My old 5010 had a reset procedure by shorting 4th pin on chip to pgm1 and this removed the installer lockout. The hs2032 does not have a chip eeprom like my old 5010. Any ideas how to remove the installer lockout from this neo hs2032 ??

    I can set Away, without and entry alarmed element. Out entry is similar to a mall storefront Gate. How can I program the away option to work without an entry trigger, it defaults to stay without it, so the motion sensor won't work.

    • @AlarmSystemStore
      @AlarmSystemStore  3 роки тому +1

      There is always an exit delay regardless of arming mode.
      If you're arming in away but it's setting in stay once armed, it's because you didn't trigger an exit door during the exit delay so the system thinks you stayed and as such armed in stay mode.

      Make sure you know if you’re using open loop or closed loop contacts. If they are open loop you have to wire them in parallel with the resistor.

    I'm trying to connect a 2 wire door contact (2 of them) to the same zone. But it seems like only one of them works at a time. Each on their own works ok, the minute I add 2 of them, the whole zone stops working and opening any windows doesn't trigger any status difference on the alarm. But each one triggers the right status on the alarm when they are pluged in by themselves. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

    What’s settle delay mean?

    • @haydenabel2287
      @haydenabel2287 3 роки тому

      Settle delay is a short bypass of all sensors that happens after arming. It can be set to keep sensors "off" for up to 10 seconds after fully arming to reduce the chance of a false alarm. It is particularly handy for exterior motions on your porch for example. Keep an eye out in the near future for the reproductions we're putting out for DSC NEO startup programming, where we go into more detail on subjects just like this one!

To improve this video would require a script, so to keep moving forward and minimalize the long "Uh... ya know?" pauses.
