Great video. Booze, golf carts and unlit streets definitely don't mix. Chelsea is quite lucky she got off with the injuries she did. Could have been a lot worse, and medical facilities at night in the Abacos are often unavailable.

Love the show Bob. What’s the real story with Chelsea. Even bruised ribs you can hardly walk. With her swinging her arm during that short walk it can’t be collarbone either. As for stitches oozing. It would be nice to hear the straight story. She’s definitely not in pain so what is the story Bob?

From looking at how Chelsea was getting around there was likely not a broken collar bone or rib(s). That doesn't mean she didn't tear or bruise muscles and do all kinds of tissue damage which can hurt bad. I've broken ribs before on a couple occasions riding dirt bikes, well crashing on dirt bikes and there just is no way I could have climbed around onto boats and walked around like she did.
Collar bone breaks aren't so bad but those ribs could really hurt.

@@Dwade689 I completely agree! I broke mine in a fall while rollerblading. It was painful as hell, that's why I could also tell Chelsea hadn't broken hers from her movements; regardless, hope she feels better. I had to wear this figure 8 harness for 6 weeks (could barely shave my face or lift my arms up), and it took 6 months before the bones really healed and gained my strength back in my shoulder, and could stop feeling the bones moving against each other (what a strange feeling).
@@Dwade689 Nope but my 14 year old daughter did. In my front yard practicing cheerleading stunts. Snapped it completely in half, never cried, just got in the car and rode with my wife to the ER. She stayed out of school one day, against her will and went the following day. No painkillers, no nothing. It's not like she's superhuman either, she cried the week before after stubbing her toe. I have broken my arm, wrist and ankle tho, hurt bad.
I've broken both collar bones multiple times over the years and while some have been quite painful, with others I've worked as a mechanic on both cars and planes. Also with broken ribs it really depends on which ribs are broken as to how much pain you're in (done that a few times too) Pain is handled differently by everyone Doctor.
Congratulations, Bobby! You edited this video so much more nicely than the previous few. Gone is all the conflict between your narration and the music! It is _much_ nicer to view and doesn't seem at all like 1960s A.M. radio with the D.J. yakking all the time!
Too bad about Chelsea, but at least those injuries will be fairly quickly healing.

Chelsea seems awesome. I had a similar wound and yes the far apart stiching allows for wound to “seep”, but also makes for a ginormous scar (as I experienced after the rottweiler gnawing to my arm was fixed with exactly 4 stitches).

So I've been in some bike accidents... And.... Rob, back, etc breaks they basically send you home and tell you to take it easy. I didn't and I have constant back pains, so I don't know if it is different if you actually don't do anything and allow yourself to heal... But we as humans are resilient and I still fix cars for a living, so she'll be fine. Hoping for a fast recovery.

We used to have a house on the south part of elbow cay. It was over looking the ocean side on a bluff. A great place to grow up!

Chelsea, deep cuts heal from the inside to the outside. Wounds need to expel debris and detritus to heal properly. Keep the wounds as clean as you can and change the bandages often. Feel better!

Golf cart accidents are more dangerous than you would think. A lady was killed here in my town a few months ago from falling out of the cart. Although they were not playing golf...alcohol is often associated with golf on many courses with a lot of people that have never been in a golf cart. They are fun to zip around on until you hit a sharp curve going full blast.

Living in the Bahamas, i.e. Lutra. When tourists get hurt especially in golf cart accidents there is usually heads that roll. We don’t particularly care for injuries on the islands. Gives us a bad name no bad memories.⚓️🌴💜😎

As a RN I can tell you there's zero chance her collar bone (clavicle) is fractured and zero chance the ribs are as well: if they were she would be in significantly more pain and would not be up walking because every step would be aggravating and she'd have to be laid up on pain killers for a few days.
