My heart exploded upon first listen. Oh, how many chills I felt and what emotions. Then I go in to see who she is and realize it's the girl singing Dzanum. Excellent, perfect. You are definitely my favorite. I can't stop listening to Dzanum and now this. Serbia UK is for you 🇬🇧. I'm voting for you this year. A perfect choice.
You are walking it's rainy outside and "Ramonda" is softly playing in your ears. This song is so emotional it touches you so deeply, something that you never felt before. Čestitke Srbija vidimo se visoko na tabeli!! 🇲🇰💜🇷🇸
After her song "Dzanum" which went viral all over the world thanks to Tiktok, now we have a sequel in the form of Ramonda. The title of Teya's song "Ramonda" references a flower known by its latin name "Ramonda serbica", an endemic species that only grows in Serbia and around it (some parts of N.Macedonia and northern Greece), discovered by Serbian scientiist in 1884, a flower which is known for its ability to completely dry out and still revive once it gets water, a flower that can straight up come back from undead. Very similar to Ramonda Serbica is Natalie's Ramonda, flower of the same genus, In Serbia it's known as "Natalijina ramonda" named after the XIX century Serbian queen Natalija Obrenović and it's used as a symbol of victory in WWI. In Serbia, to mark this day we wear a phoenix flower - Natalie's Ramonda, capable of resurrection, just as Serbia after WWI, in which it lost almost 1/3 of people. In fact, the song can also talk about loneliness and the ability to have everything in its place one day. Just like Ramonda flower only needs a drop of water to come alive. In the official video clip of the song, there is also a quote from the Gospel according to John: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it." The island in the video symbolizes Greece, Corfu. That's where the Serbian soldiers retreated in WW1 in a seemingly hopeless situation, being chased to be finished off by Axis forces (like Austria Hungary and flanked by Bulgaria, who wanted a piece of the spoils). Greece took the Serbians in, gave them food, shelter, water... Many died upon arrival and had to be ''buried'' in the sea surrounding Corfu, since there wasn't space left. Absolutely hauntingly beautiful message and ode to one's ancestors who faced near impossible odds. There is even a museum in Corfu with lots of memorabilia from that period.
This song brings me to tears. So magical and emotional, with beautiful message. The staging is amazing as well. Currently my 4th place and it could grow even more. 12 points from Poland 🇵🇱🇷🇸
The Serbian Eurovision entry is a dark horse this year! 🐎💫 With a strong message, mesmerizing voice, and easy-to-remember chords, it's a true symbol of beauty and talent. This song is sure to capture hearts and make a lasting impact. Good luck Teya Dora 🌸

If anyone is interested, here is an analysis: 1. Ramonda is a very rare purple flower that grows on Mount Rtanj in Serbia and is known as the “Phoenix flower”. It can survive in harsh environments and can “revive” itself after dehydrating with only a drop of water. It was used as a symbol of the Serbian people in WW1 during which Serbia lost 1/4 of its population. 2. There are several lines in the lyrics that reference the famous exodus of the Serbian people (along with The king and army) who travelled by foot over Montenegrin and Albanian mountains to Greece in harsh winter of 1915. Around 240.000 people died on the journey and were buried at sea in a Greek Island in what is known as “The Blue Tomb” or “the watery grave”. The line “there, under the water, everything is dead silent” is a reference to that. Furthermore, another line states “there’s nobody left to guide me towards the morning star” again symbolizing the life in them fading as well as the fading hope of the Serbian people and utter desperation and uncertainty whether our people would survive or return. Then you have “The world burns, every flower dies, where have the purple Ramondas vanished” = where have all the Serbs gone? The song ends with “A single purple Ramonda rises from the ashes” symbolizing hope and just like the Ramonda flower resurrects, so do the Serbian people. The lyrics are clever because on one hand, it clearly references historical elements (without being too overt of direct), but on the other hand, the song can also have a completely individual meaning. Finding hope after feeling hopeless and even though it’s quite melancholic, the song ends on a hopeful note, a light at the end of the tunnel.

Don't worry - good example is Eleni Foureira with Fuego in 2018 she was like outside of top 20 in odds before the competition and then rose up to somewhere towards the top of odds + ended up as a runner up :)
Wait to listen for it at the Eurovision stage. I'm sure that this song could be easy the winner of this years Eurovison Song Contest !!!! Go Teya !!!!!! 💜💜💜
The most beautiful melody and singing this year by far. Underrated right now but it will definitely be a top contender on the contest day, especially thanks to the jury vote. Love from Turkey!

💜🌸💜🌸💜🌸 Rooting for 🇷🇸 Serbia! As a Eurovision fan and a Teya Dora fan this is perfect! 12 points from uk 🇬🇧❤️🇷🇸 Teya Dora is such a good singer 🌸💜🌸💜🌸💜
Definetly underrated by odds and by people, she will slay on Eurovision stage in Malmö
From what i see she is im everyones top 10 for now and she has the best ratings with score of 4.5 others have 4.4 and less
@@markojovanovic5901 idk, she 10th in scoreboard and 22nd in odds, and we still don't have 7 songs, for me it's a low result for this masterpiece
Well, there have been plenty songs that were top 8 in odds and in the end they were like 20th place…
And i think teya has a lot of views (next to the netherland entry)
Don't worry - good example is Eleni Foureira with Fuego in 2018 she was like outside of top 20 in odds before the competition and then rose up to somewhere towards the top of odds + ended up as a runner up :)
So proud of her, so beautiful. Winer
12 points from Sweden, wow!!!! 😍❤️
wow Serbia, this is MASTERPIECE

Wait to listen for it at the Eurovision stage. I'm sure that this song could be easy the winner of this years Eurovison Song Contest !!!! Go Teya !!!!!! 💜💜💜
The most beautiful melody and singing this year by far. Underrated right now but it will definitely be a top contender on the contest day, especially thanks to the jury vote. Love from Turkey!
The song and vocals leave you breathless, well done Serbia❤

I marked them! 💜
