I really wish Apple Pay and the other two became accepted basically everywhere. I wish I could forever leave my physical cards at home.
I'm with you on that. I love using my phone to pay for things and not needing to take out my wallet.
Move to many European countries and that can be reality lol. North America is just years behind the curve. Getting there though.
Switch to Samsung pay, it's accepted everywhere
@@sue2129Not anymore. Starting with the galaxy watch and galaxy S21 phone all Samsung devices are NFC only, so no difference with other mobile wallets anymore in terms of acceptance by merchants.

Question, I have deleted one f my credit cards on my apple wallet, but when i go to transfer money I receive from my apple card to my new card it shows my new card ok, but if i want to transfer FREE, it still has the old card I deleted, how do I remove it from there. thank you
When you said that Apple Pay is entirely free to use, you sounded like “Apple Pay isn’t entirely free to use”.

You know what would be nice is if it showed what the transactions are. For instance, I’m paying $200 a month and it’s keeping me broke all the time. My ex fiancé and all this and I do believe I’m paying for her Netflix and Amazon prime and some other stuff because whenever I go to my wallet it only shows a transaction Through my bank it doesn’t show what it was for and it’s always a reoccurring payment like $21 here. $35. So I have no idea what the transaction is even four because it doesn’t show it.
I'm not sure what you mean. I can see every transaction that gets charged when using Apple Pay. It shows the company, price, and once it's done pending even the location I was at for that charge. My guess would be whichever card is in your Apple Wallet is attached somewhere that is making that charge. For example, if you use your physical card (not through Apple Pay) it won't show up on the Apple Wallet. You'd need to go to your bank statements and see where those charges are coming from. Worst case, I would just cancel that card and order a new one so those random charges stop. Really hope that helps.
My phone works and I have cards in it but my wife don’t have any and her double tap don’t work with the double tap for loyalty card to the grocery card and ticket master tickets and flight tickets. Not sure why it isn’t working
The double tapping on the power button is not working for me it keeps closing
You have to activate that in your Apple wallet settings

I have 12 mini and I have to hold my phone near the reader, double tap power button, take face id and again hold my iphone near the reader to do the transaction. Is there an easier way to do this?
Imma be honest no hate but I’m new to iPhone but what my iPhone 14 pro does is it makes me double tap for Face ID when installing and it seems there’s just an extra step you have to hold the phone near the thing

Edit: I know 1. double tap 2. face id and 3. Hold near the reader for payments

You typically need to enter your phone pin before it charges you. So if someone takes your phone, they need to know your pin to be able to make purchases using Apple Pay

You can have it setup with your face id instead of typing in a password. Since it's financial there will always be a required security enabled.

Quite the opposite. Apple pay makes every transaction a special number so no transaction that is run gets your card info. Much safer than swiping your card at the store.

You do know that credit cards are digital connections to your account, right? They are just a physical form of it. Only way to avoid digital is to go cash and people can rob you of that so pick your poison I guess. I'd prefer the option that has the least likelihood of someone taking my money without my authorization.

For older iPhones you need to double press the home button and it will bring up your cards, or you can just hold your phone near the reader 👍

Yes debit or credit I don’t think you can put gift cards
only credit and debit cards supported by participating banks, and transit cards supported by the transportation service provider.
