I like pantry and grocery hauls but they aren’t the main reason I watch. I mostly watch because you’re regular folks that I’d enjoy visiting in real life.

Oh , I'll admit I found your channel from your pantry hauls. I am blessed to have plenty of food that my husband and I can afford. But my best friend needs to use food pantries to stretch her food budget. Now that I've gotten used to watching you and getting to know you through your videos, I can't imagine not watching you, with or without pantry hauls. When you are just chatting, I feel like I am visiting with a friend. I tend to feel pretty lonely much of the time since my best friend lives closer to you than she does me. But I'm glad to have found you and will continue to watch you. Thank you for being exactly who you are.

I like all of your videos! Glen flying the airplane was cool! Didnt realize they light up too! So cool at night time to watch! I only go to the food bank when we need food, mostly the end of our month before we get paid again, we're on fixed income. But it really helps when we get low! We usually plan meals around the loss leader proteins on sale and fruits and veggies in season. I love when we get basics we use all the time from the food bank, onions, peppers, potatoes, carrots,cabbage and celery . Then we "fill in" what we need to make meals out of. I make a lot of casseroles we can eat from a couple times so i dont have to cook everyday! Like ill make sloppy joes, the next day ill add some chilli powder and beans, diced tomatoes and make chilli, then we might have chilli dogs or nachoes with the chilli. I try to stretch things as much as humanly possible! Lol!😅😂🤣🙃

Myself just going shopping wears me out .I usually just put away the freezer and fridge things then take a nap.Back in the day, I could do things without 3 days of sleep.Do dishes, vacuum and laundry, it's NAPPY TIME😂.Hope you still do cooking videos, I like them.

Wondering are green avacados different than brown ones? Or is brown ones just riper or less ripe? I tried one before and didnt like but my grandgirl gets the dip and i like that. Maybe the one i had was over ripe. How do you tell?
Hi Mary, the bright green ones are usually harder and those are not ripe. When they start to get ripe (soft) they turn more of a dark green/brown color and those are the ripe ones. If they get too soft then they get brown spots inside and those are no good, you can eat them but some taste bad. I like them just as they turn soft but not too soft.
