Superb video as usual. Was wondering what kind of joystick-throttle system you use? Also, what ever you have; do you have most of these key commands mapped to your joystick-throttle?
Hi RedBravo, I use a Logitech G940 for my joystick and throttle with MFG Crosswind rudder pedals. I have pretty much every key I like to have assigned between my stick and throttle, but if I only included the bare essential controls then I would have a lot of spare buttons :-)
Great Video! I've searched for those vids for quite some while. But it was worth it! ;D Keep on the good work! Ps: Do you know how high the engine should rev on takeoff? 2400rpm?
Cheers ObaMarc, tell your friends! Don't worry too much about the RPM on takeoff, just focus on getting your manifold pressure set and the RPM will take care of itself.
furyspitfire thanks very much. I am a real pilot and am very lucky to be one. I've been a flight instructor for single engine, multi engine, and instrument flying but now I'm an airline pilot flying the CRJ-900
I am having the problem that the engines are overheating during climb. I am climbing at 250 kph, 2600 rpm and 1.3 ata, which is combat setting according to IL-2 and not continuous. What am I doing wrong (climbing to 1300m). Thanks
Awesome work as always, thanks for the good videos! Keep them coming, Cheers!
Thanks Sturm! :-)

Can you do the mig-3 Familiarisation?
I've finished all the German aircraft for BoM so the Russian aircraft for BoM are next.
The Air Combat Tutorial Library thanks
Super videos - very helpful and well made, thanks. Are you a real pilot or just an experienced sim pilot?

You're doing a fantastic job with these tutorials, they are very well made, very clear and very helpful, so thank you.

Climb at a faster airspeed to ensure the engine is getting more airflow for cooling. Try 270 km/hr
This gamemode scares me
