I totally do more than one book at once but it has to be different genres! Sometimes I’ll do like a romance, thriller and self help or nonfiction and then mood read. My mom yells at me and says I don’t get to enjoy the books wholeheartedly one at a time, BUT I think my adhd brain likes to draw out the books a little esp if it’s a 4-5 star book. And like you said I usually do an audio book and e book. But deff different genres so you don’t get details mixed up!
I love Theo- I loved Winter in this book! Another thing I usually don’t like in a book is misunderstanding-but it was cleared up so quickly that I loved this book!!
I’m also finishing up Chestnut Springs, and feel the same way you do about the series. I read Wild Love prior to this, and loved it, it was 4/4.5 for me. But please do not go in thinking it’s a cowboy romance like so many others I have seen do. Please please read Here for the Cake, it was such a fun and quick read. Also, I think you’d love Heathen & Honeysuckle by Sarah A Bailey.
I would rank the chestnut springs series the exact same as you. Fav to least fav- reckless, heartless, powerless, hopeless, & flawless. Everyone always ranks flawless higher lol.
Can’t wait to see your reactions and thoughts on wild love. Follows Willa’s brother and Willa and Cade show up in that book a decent amount. Made me feel like I was back in Chestnut springs ❤
Also ideas for V and X The Viscount Who Loved Me (2nd book from the Bridgerton Series) XOXO - Axie Oh (I haven't actually read this but you could look into it haha)
I haven't read the chestnut springs series yet, but it sounds very similar to the Hello series by Kelsie Hoss! 1st person, alternating POVs, each book is a different character but they are all connected in one family. I have loved that series!
The dog shelter volunteer part sounded so much like Stevie 🥹. Mile High was such a good book. Also, I too get a lot of holds from the library at the same time…. I try to make them a priority because of the due date.

I’m reading The vanishing half right now! It’s a slower read for me, so I get you, but it does intrigue me and I enjoy it!
I just love your videos. I feel like you are so great at being quick to the point on books
Thank you SO much!!! This means the world!

The audio book of under the whispering door and other TJ Klune books are very good. You should try them

I'm reading reckless rn! About 50% through and OBSESSEDDD.

Try Sue Grafton’s V is for Vengeance for your V book or just the remainder of her alphabet series.

Oooh!! I may need to read this now!!
Caraval all 3 of them are so much better on audio because of all the voices
Ooh! Good to know. Thank you!!
Omgeeeee you really need to read Out on a limb!!! ❤❤❤
It’s on my list!! Soon!!
I was going to suggest the same.
Yes. Also a perfectly done pregnancy trope.
I felt the same with You Shouldn’t Have Come Here, definitely a 2 or 2.5 star read, unfortunately
For X on the ABC challenge- XOXO by Axie Oh and Z- Zero Days by Ruth Ware 😊
THANK YOU!!!!!
I READ THE VANISHING IT WAS LONG CHAPTERS AODN IT LEFT ME HANGING.
Did you like it?! Should I revisit?
Switch to audio on the vanishing half!! Might help. I liked the book but it took over half to get into it.
I feel the opposite. If I’m having a hard time getting into a book I do better if I read instead of listen.
I read Vanishing Half for a book club. It's not a "you" problem, the book is terrible and the end will make you mad. Go ahead and hard DNF that!
Oh no!!!! Thank you for the insights!!!

Awww Stevie!!!! I love that book so much!
