That thing at the end was basically Fou talking to Mash. Yes, Fou was Beast IV all along. He was sent to Chaldea by Merlin so he could learn about humans, and ultimately gave up his Beast status to bring Mash back with a normal body.

13:34 he’s a mage who became the embodiment of floruos one of the 72 demon gods.
Fun fact: in every timeline except for the fate grand order timeline Lev liner commits suicide before his body and soul becomes overtaken by floruos. In fact it’s him killing himself that typically breaks the humanity incineration ritual because floruos is suppose to start the chain reaction. Without Lev being possessed by floruos the plan cannot continue.
Also fun fact: Mozart to was suppose to be a vessel for a demon god but by his own words his obsession towards music supposedly saved him from being possessed by a demon god.

55:00 The basic history of Fou is that yes, he is the Beast IV. A Beast that would take 7 Grand Servants to subdue.
What he is talking about at the start of the credits is referencing the end of the Garden of Avalon novel/Drama CD.
There, Merlin, who was in his Tower at Avalon along with Fou, was watching the events of Fate route and saw Artoria destroying the Grail. He was amazed and excited of the outcome then picked up Fou and kicked him out of the Avalon saying that he should get out and see beautiful things too. This is why Fou, who really just wants to be in Avalon has a personal hatred to Merlin. After that, he ended up with Mash and just became the pet of Chaldea and followed with Fujimaru and Mash in their journey through the singularities(very ironic how Chaldea has to stop the scheme of a Beast while having another Beast as a pet lmao).
Mash did die but because the Time Temple exists outside of time, her death wasn't "recorded" and Fou used his own intelligence and powers to revive him. Hence, becoming a normal beast and how they defeated Beast IV without fighting.

51:50 Fou revived Mash, since he's Beast IV, he's capable of doing so but in exchange for a very large chunk of his power maybe even sentience. The end is basically Fou speaking to Mash before he revives her.

Fou was Beast IV Aka Cath Palug (primate murder). He is also a beast level threat but he draws power from negative emotions and hatred, that's why merlin basically took him with him for most of the time. When he joins chaldea (Merlin literally dropped him from avalon, thus why fou hates merlin xD) and follows mash, he basically can't gather enough hatred to awaken because of how mash and fujimaru are (like how fujimaru always tried to understand his enemies instead of hating them) in the end he ended up taking a liking to them, helping them here and there. In the end he sacrificed all his power/intelligence to return mash to life and turns into a "cute animal" in both form and function. The whole ending song is him talking to mash.
Also a lot of apocrypha servants featured in the summoned servants, which is why I always advise to leave solomon temple for the very end because the more servants you recognize the more you hyp

To answer your likely question as to what Gilgamesh was doing. Notice how Ritsuka's summoning bar turned gold. Gilgamesh gave Ritsuka the energy to summon all the Servants that he did I believe.

    • @CursedEvilOne
      @CursedEvilOne 3 місяці тому +7

Idk why people still believe that Gilgamesh gave Ritsuka energy to summon the servant, no dude, that's never even mentioned in the movie material book. Even if you use his Golden Rule skill logic, that's not even gonna apply cuz that skill is only revolves around treasury and not magical energy. The reason it turned gold cuz Fujimaru quite literally break the safety system of the MC and straight up "fuck magical energy" and decided to use his nerve system to brute force the system that in the material itself said "Fujimaru squeezes the safety equipment on his chest with his hand. (This breaks the safety function of the summoning control, so that there are no restrictions on summoning. Of course, the wearer's life is no longer protected, and each summoning causes the loss of bodily nerves one after another.)" hence why the wing was formed just like how Illya did in Prisma Illya and Final Battle Mystic code itself said in the material was not meant to be a safety purposes but basically "do or die" or "all in" kinda Mystic Code

3:19 Gilgamesh’s eyes called Sha Naqba Imuru let him see the future, alternate timelines, ignore illusions, and can see through lies, basically even if you lie to him he hears the lie but the truth is made known to him. It also lets him know true names, abilities, stats, and magic of whoever he fights but it turns out being almost omnipotent makes things boring so he almost never uses it, in fact the number of times he’s used it that we know of can be counted on one hand. 20:49 Each group of demon god pillars isn’t really related to a specific singularity, this was more done to list the groups of the demon god pillars. 30:17 That’s the Sword of Mars also known as the god if war Ares. Wielded by the servant Attila who’s easily one of the strongest servants. 31:58 oh yea we’ve fought almost every Beast of humanity. Proto Arthur is currently chasing down an alternate timelines Beast 6 which split into multiple Beasts. We’ve fought a different timelines Beast 6, Arthur once fought a completely different beast 6, the current FGO story is involving the final Beast 7, we’ve dealt with an alternative timelines beast 1, unclassified beasts, in total we know of 13 different Beasts of humanity. Also it’s important to know that once a beast died a beast candidate if it wants to can take its place as a new beast. For example Fou aka primate murder and one of the fastest human killing beings in existence once it discarded its position as Beast 4 a spirit called Koyanskya became the new Beast 4. Also sometimes a Beast number can be shared. Famously done by beast 6 and beast 3. With Beast 3 position being Kama/Mara and then a being on the level of Buddha Kiara. Also Merlin counts as both a grand castor candidate and a beast candidate.
Also in most timelines Fou gets killed by the Knights of the Round Table. 41:51 this is never explained in the movie but Solomon doing this erased himself from the throne of hero’s and basically striped Goetias immortality from him meaning Goetia could now be killed. 42:45 it’s unclear but I think it’s referring to how god no longer had any real hold on the modern world with the rings all gone. I say this because all the other gods had well and truly lost all power over the world of man and had been forced to the reverse side. The age of man had been happening for around 1500 years at that point. 45:11 Gilgamesh decided he wasn’t really needed but that golden light that appeared on Fujimarus mystic code tube thing was Gilgamesh’s doing. Also the red orange hairs servant is Rama and he’s a pretty big deal. 47:51 Yea one of the conditions to become a Beast of humanity is you are required to have some form of love of humans. Unfortunately it’s not a specific kind of love so if for example a being loved how humanity tasted when eaten it could after completing a few of the other conditions become a Beast of Humanity.

53:24 to 54:31 it's actually fou a.k.a beast IV a.k.a cath palug from arthurian legend. He was thrown out of merlin's tower, he wandered and finally reached to chaldea where he felt interested to learn more about humans and especially mash. Going through many journeys alongside the protagonist and mash, he didn't want to lose these so he felt the urge to aid mash. He provided enough magical energy which granted mash a normal human lifespan in exchange of losing his beast IV title and turning him into an ordinary creature. He certainly enjoyed the journey so far and by doing this he made sure he'll keep on enjoying more with us.

21:11 each pillar was meant to watch over that respective singularity basically.
Also fun fact: in the Camelot singularity something the movie doesn’t show in detail is that ozymandius had the singularity grail and when we tried to force him to join our faction in order to test our strength he fuses with the grail and by extension the demon god pillar.
However instead of Amon taking over ozymandius the inverse occurs turning Amon into Amon-Ra.

fou is Beast 4 it's true name is Primate Murder and merlin was responsible for sealing him and that is why he called him Cath Palug, and fou from the start was gathering magical energy so he used up all his magical energy to bring mash back to life and the last dialogue was fou's message to the mash and chaldea

45:12 That's Rama, the Hero in the Indian Epic, Ramayana. And yeah, I'm pretty sure he's a bigger deal than Nero.
45:21 Your assumption is way closer than many other Fate fans thought when this was released lol

17:35 That is Vlad III. Aka Vlad the Impaler. Voyvode of Wallachia. Also known as Dracula ("little Dragon" in old Romanian), due to his father being prominent member of the knightly Order of the Dragon. The main inspiration (at least for the name) of Count Dracula. This version is his more unhinged and warrior-esc side (first seen in Fate/Extra). You will see a lot more of him (more emphasizing his side as sovereign and leader of people) in Fate/Apocrypha.

OK, Native American guy was Geronimo. Also the white haired girl with the rainbow sword was Altera/Atilla the Hun. Basically, back during the early Age of Gods, a being from space, a white giant showed up. Started killing shit. Got blasted by basically a prototype of Excalibur. Later got reincarnated as a girl with a rather robotic personality, that became Atilla the Hun. Her sword is that of the Roman God, Mars. Also yes, we meet them. We end up with a few Beasts as playable Servants.

I think there are some connections between the different facilities in the temple of time and the singularities. Mostly small nods to the singularities. Every facility consists of multiple demon gods but is named after the leader of each group.
    1. Naberius, the Melting Furnace: Singularity 1 was centered around Jeanne d'Arc who burned at the stake as well as her Alter version (a morally inverted vengeful version of Jeanne).
    2. Flauros, the Information Center: In Singularity 2 we ran into Lev Lainur again since he was the demon god pillar in that era. (Can't think of anything information based)
    3. Forneus, the Observatory: The third Singularity took place during the age of exploration. Pretty self-explainatory.
    4. Barbatos, the Control Tower: Singularity 4 was set in the age of industrialization with a more scientific threat. Also, it was where we first encountered the enemy master mind, Solomon himself.
    5. Halphas, the Armory: The fifth singularity took place in a twisted american war with a hyper-industrialized america on one side and an army of violent celts on the other.
    6. Amon, the Gazing Star: The ONE IMPORTANT SCENE that was cut from the movies: The time when Fujimura and companions entered the Atlas Institute in egypt where they met Sherlock Holmes and used the original Trismegistus to find out more about the plot of the King of Mages as well as the events in 2004. The term "Chaldeans" originally referred to philosophers who were especially versed in the field of astronomy. So it's probably highlighting the fact that we learned more about Chaldea. ALSO it was in that scene when Mash actually learned the name of the Heroic Spirit inside of her. And last but not least, the demon god pillar that appeared in Camelot was created by Ozy using his own body and was some kind of vessel for the egyptian god Amun Ra - that's why that facility is governed by the demon god Amon.
    7. Sabnock, the Chamber of Life: Singularity 7 was the only one that had not a single demon god pillar (at least we never saw or fought one, but Merlin was the one that kept the original Tiamat sleeping the whole time until Gorgon's death woke her up, so... maybe there actually was one but they were part of the untold lore). Nevertheless, this one obviously references Tiamat who is The Sea of Life.
    8. Andromalius, the Trash Heap: Now THIS ONE is very interesting for multiple reasons:
-> The characters that helped fight this one were actually from limited time game events in year 1. On that front, nothing too special, mostly just a nice nod to the events players have participated in.
-> This facility isn't position 8 (because there is no 8th singularity). While the other facilities (in the mobile game) had been numbered with roman 1-7 (Position I, Position II, Position III, Position IV, Position V, Position VI, Position VII), this one got the number (or letter) "Position X".
-> Position X doesn't appear on the map until you have cleared several other positions.
-> While every other facility of the temple of time used the chapter icon and map theme melody of the correlating singularity, the Trash Heap used the icon and the melody of Singularity F: Fuyuki. But that raises the question: Why is the Trash Heap at position X instead of position F? Is that detail relevant or not? We might be overanalyzing this, but people theorize that Nasu - the mad genius that he is - might have made that distinction purposefully. But we can only speculate.
-> The term "Trash Heap" refers to the place where everything that was lost or abandoned ends up - not so much in a physical sense, but more like a subconsciousness that deals with the stuff that has no place anywhere else.

10:34 Technically from Chaldea's perspective Mordred came back for Camelot (Singularity 6), as they had encountered Mordred already in London (Singularity 4, the one that ended with "Solomon" revealing themself to Chaldea as the master mind of the incineration of humanity. From Mordred's perspective those where two independent summonigs as a Servant, without the Saint Graph being stored in Chaldea, so Mordred had no memories of London in Camelot, as it was a different Servant "copy" of her than the one Chaldea had allied with in London.
When you watch The Case Files of Lord El Melloi II (very good series about Waver Velvet) it will be more of a topic how normally each summoning of a Servant has no memories of a previous summoning.

15:57 Yes, that is young Alexander the Great (a.ka.a Alexander III, a.k.a. Iskander [to the Persians]).
17:08 Charles Henri Sanson. A famous executioner from the time of the French Revolution. He came from a family of executioners, disliked his work but deemed it necessary. He advocated for the guillotine, as he has seen his fair share of botched and bloody executions by the hands of others and saw it quick and more humane. He dutifully served the king and just dutifully beheaded said king Loius in the Revolution. His son beheaded the queen's wife Marie Antoinette (he was there for it, but not as the main executioner). He also had ver good anatomical knowledge and could have served as doctor, if not for family buisness he had to carry out.

9:50 You would be wrong about Team A not completing the Singularities. Kirschtaria Wodime and Daybit Sem Void would also have defeated Solomon, all on their own, had the explosion not happened. Daybit even managed it without even summoning a Servant, somehow. Team A was really exceptional.
That being said, this is exactly why Goetia's plan causes the explosion at Chaldea. Fujimaru's just the sort to be underestimated, and shonen enough to rise to the occasion anyway.

    • @алексейпугачев-л9й
      @алексейпугачев-л9й 3 місяці тому +3

Yeah most members of team A are at least servant-tier in terms of power but i actually don't think they would be able to do what he did,cuz they probably would be thinking too highly of themselves and A LOT of times the reason why Fujimaru prevailed is because his endeavor's encourage other's to sacrifice themselves to get the job done....i don't think they would defeat Tiamat for example...

    • @AnonYmous-oe7qb
      @AnonYmous-oe7qb 3 місяці тому

@@алексейпугачев-л9й They don't have to solve it in the same way, and Kirschtaria's magic literally did level a supreme God of a pantheon equal to Tiamat. All that's required is to locate and secure the Grail, there are a lot of optional objectives our protagonists have to accomplish to accommodate a plot and because they aren't OP. Solving the Babylonia Singularity for example would be as simple as immediately destroying Kingu and taking his Grail back without killing Gorgon.
Plus I am not just guessing or asserting a theory. The Foreign God literally ran all the Crypters through a simulation of the Singularities to make sure they were qualified to be resurrected, then wiped the memories of everyone except Kirschtaria. FGO canonically has Wodime and Daybit succeed in the manner I described.

My second favorite servant is Miyamoto Musashi, who unfortunately also isn't in this movie.
HOWEVER, my third favorite - Altera (aka Atilla the hun) - IS in this movie and it's the girl with the rainbow colored sword that appears between 30:10 and 30:25

43:32 the end of the age of gods didn’t have a singular trigger but a number of them depending on the region. The fall of Solomon, the event that was ragnarok, gilgamesh denying his union with ishtar, the fall of the Olympian gods, the disappearance of the fae folk (though not sure if this ended the age of the gods or the age of the fae or am I think of lostbelt Britian), the mezoamerican gods returning to nature, etc.

  • @saykou1070
    @saykou1070 3 місяці тому

    Some explainations are needed.
    1. Gilgamesh was there for giving mana support to Fujimaru in order to spam summon heroic spirits.
    2. In each singularities they end up fighting at least one Demon God, and then at the temple they had to fight the whole book which is constitued of 72 Demonic Gods, Goetia is the amalgamisation of those 72 spirits, he's like their representation.
    3. Fou is the Beast IV, but Merlin captured him then reduced him to be Fou and then left him see the world in order to Fou to know humans more to finally love them instead of despicing them.
    4. It was Iskandar, servants can also exist in different versions, young, old, woman, man, alternate version from another timeline, etc..
    5. Roman's noble phantasm allows him to disapear from history, making Goetia weak enough to beatable by Fujimaru.
    6. Fou used all the power he stored as the Beast IV to revive Mash, but in return he lost somuch power that now he lost his intelligence, making him a basic fluffy animal.
    7. There's no OAV nor anime for the events that comes next but basically in :
Part 1: You had to go to 7 singularities to rearrange human history then Solomon temple at the end.
Part 1.5: 4 demon gods were able to escape so they created 4 other singularities, Mash lost her power since her revive, Muramasa is a new servant that love forge swords and since he's not a really markable human he needed a human to lend him his body...which fell on Shirou Emiya since he is his descendant.
Part 2: 1 year after the end of part 1, Chaldea is ordered to close due to the mistakes they made, plus an Alien God appears and vanishes the world then creates several parrallel worlds that are forged to creating a new age of gods in order to allowing him to settle there. Those "Lostbelts" are managed by some of the mages that ended up dying in the first FGO Movie. The Alien God revived them in exchange of their servitude, they've accepted because they're more or less jealous of Fujimaru, a noob as mage, that he saved the world. They think they can do better.

20:40 Good catch! Due to how Goetia Spell System ("primordial curse" of 72 Demons) is the beigining of (modern 'human') Magecraft and Mages, the Magic Crests of Mages are all programmed genetic aspects of Goetia spawning Generations, therefore it can influance Proper Human History and all in all is 'Human History' itself due to Solomon Noble Phantasms, thats what Lev Flauros (The Information Center Demon) was talking about.
To begin with, the 72 Demons "summoned" by Solomon were "a system to efficiently promote proper reason" so its not surprsiing that after wintessing human history Goetia the King of Demons was elevated to Beast I, one of the seven Evils of Humanity, the Beast possessing the Logos or Orihinal Sin of “Pity”.
After all Beast Class is essentially the reverse of Servant Class but all coming from the same root - Humanity.
    40:24 Yep!
By Giving Back Rings of God Solomon essentially sacraficed & erased himself from this Proper Human History (with the Throne of Heroes high-dimentional metaphysical human history library) and Goetia's (who was born Beast 1 cus of humanity original sin and cus of love of humanity) immortality with it.
42:46 "Age of Gods" includes this part, yeah. Age of Gods in Nasuverse ended differently in different parts of the world at different perioids of time due to local factors & gods fates and development of humanity with modern magecraft. Bun Solomon is aslo talking specicifally about the theme of the ideals of Humanity vs Gods.
48:13 Its Goetia's Human Form. After coming more to understading of humanity he turned to the "King of Humans".
49:00 It cerently is a parallel reference to Kirei vs Shirou - the idealogical battle to death, yeah, heh.
Mash and Fujimaru defeated Beast Fou(r) with showing it the beauty of life and kindness of humans. Beast IV Cath Palug/Primate Murder Logos or Original Sin is “Comparison”... So he just couldnt retort to that ("attack") after the Jorney on which they been together.
Essentially Fou (who finds Mash fascinating) sacrificed his lifelong magical energy (and developed itelect) with Beast form to allow something which isnt normally possible but can be done in Solomon Singullity (Temple of Time, which is) Outside of Time - manipulation of fate, luck, time and true ressuruction.
53:31 Mash had last true "conversation" with Fou back then.

No you don't wanna see Nero's singularity lol, its by far the worst one. Fou was Beast 4 but in a dormant state. gods/divine spirits lives in the reverse side of the world, which is a separate layer/plane of existence on earth, the ending of age of gods means they couldnt interfere anymore in human layer

43:00 The Age of Gods (AoG), was indeed the time when gods still directly interacted with humanity and even walked the earth. Everything before 1 CE (=1 AD) counts as the Age of Gods, but actual decline of it was step-wise process and how it receded in different regions of the world was different. One of the characteristic of the AoG was that many different textures of reality existed side by side on the surface of the Earth (e.g. in Mesopotamia the one Underworld was Kur goverend by Ereshkigal, but in Scandinavia the World Tree Yggdrasil would be rooted in the Underworld and the goddess Hel would dweel there as Norse Mythology says, etc.)
The first step to the decline of the AoG was long before Gilgamesh. We learn first in Fate/Extella (and it is very important to parts FGO) that that 12 000 BCE (= 14 000 Years ago) the Umbral Star that travels from world to world and purges/harvest intelligent life arrived in the solar system. The component Velber 02 (one of 3 parts) reached the Moon, created a physical project, known as the White Titan or Sefar. Sefar battle the gods and many gods lost their physical bodies in that fight, being only able to continue on as divine spirits. Only a sword forged in the heart of the Planet by six great nature spirits (Fae) wielded by a human could eventually defeat Sefar. This weakened the gods.
Gilgamesh (the 2/3 god) was created by the Mesopotamian gods as the linchpinto be a link between the gods an humanity, but he rejected the gods and believed in the human potential (even converted Enkidu who was supposed to bring him back to their plan to his side). So the influence of the gods diminished more.
1000 BCE the Events of Ragnarök played out in the Norse texture and burned it away, ending the Norse AoG (From outside of the Norse Texture (i.e. Common Sense of Human History view) it was the Hekla 3 eruption in Iceland. Basically with the Texture of the Norse gods gone Ragnaröck was cosmically retconned into the devastating Hekla 3 eruption at the tail end (or right after) the Bronze Age collapse).
Other local ends of the AoG likely also happend.
Solomon, ca. 1000 BCE revolutionized Magecraft. Up to that point (at least in the West, in China it was a different story) all Magecraft was derived from the worship of god. People like Medea for example used AoG Mageraft derived Hecate, others would have other divine patrons. Solomon devised the Ars Goetia, but in the process also the concept of Magecraft with a human source and based in teachings passed on from humans. Technically it is more limited than AoG Magecraft. In the Age of Gods Mana density was high (the earlier the more) and using moderation by gods or similar entities allowed them to pretty much draw it directly (a little like Elementals). Solomon was teaching the "modern" method of jumpstarting casting by using Od (the internal, "refined" Mana that was processed by living beings for getting things going. Age of Man Magecrafts has a lot of restrictions and are denied by the World, for this, mages develop ways to manipulate natural phenomenona or reenact past incidents to bring about the supernatural phenomenona, whereas divine moderation just "brute forces" way more powerful spells that could (but have to be) just as intricate as AoM Magecraft.
Mythological beings start to migrate to the Reverse Side (away from Eath's surface), Human collective texture replaces local textures of mythologies in more and more places.
1 CE AoG is over in most places
Some places are hold overs that locally are still very much like the AoG (in Britain in ended with The Age of Fairies that is just a subportion of the Age of gods in places where they were important, during Artoria's reign (her uncle Vortiern was the last attempt of the Land to stay in the AoG [and the Lion King/Goddess Rhongomyniad is her becoming a divine being instead]). Japan was a place where AoG elements lingered a lot longer, with histoy only being codified around 700 CE and Oni and other supernaturals still openly active around 1000 CE; also native Japanese Magecraft (as opposed to Buddhist practices or the hybrid Japanese-Buddhist-Daoist forms auch as Shugendo or Onmyoudo) is still like a hold over of AoG Magecraft since they use Divine Bodies (kind of like mystical organs that preserve divine power) to enact Magecraft in a more AoG way.
    In short:
AoG was ending is several steps:
    1. Physical bodies of many gods get killed (Sefar ...)
    2. Gilgamesh is not acting as the linchpin to "fix" the relationship between gods and humans.
    3. Further decline and Solomon figures out how to do magecraft without gods (by ca. 1000 BC)
    4. Local endings when all god die (like 1000 BCE for Scandnavia)
    5. Stuff starts to migrate to the Reverse Side, Human collective texture replaces local texture of mythologies in more and more places
    6. 1 CE AoG is over in most places
    7. Some hold over (like Britain or Japan remain longer in AoG)
The Age of Fairies is just a subportion of the Age of gods in places where they were important.

42:38 Yap and no. Gods are way too powerful to be summoned without a host body are not many would even answer to the summon call, im pretty sure most aren't even in the Throne. Oh and Solomon deleted himself from all of exictance he is fully gone never to be seen again.
The time period beginning with the genesis of the Earth 4.5 billion years ago until the beginning of the Common Era around 1 AD. During which the world followed laws based not on physics but on Mystery (a tiny part of power of many different types that comes from the Root).
The Age of Gods period is marked by a greater proliferation of Phantasmal Species (non-human creatures that are found in legends and fantasy.) and greater interaction between Gods and mortals.

Fou gave up all the accumulated Magical Enegery of centuries and his Fate and was reduced to the state of the animal he appeared to be [temporarily? - it seems like there are hints of Fou acting more intelligent again later on in FGO]. to resurrect Mashu.
